I visit the area often for work, and have been through a few of their 7 day $50 passes. The…read moreequipment is top touch--the gym has just about everything you could want. Dedicated deadlift and squat stations. Even when it's relatively busy, I can always find equipment I need. The staff is great. As a few have mentioned, parking can be an issue during busy times. But if you can workout around these times, it's a perfect place to lift.

I finally gave this place a shot for the sole reason that it's the closest gym to my house, and--my…read moreGod, what to say. I'd rather give my money to a fitness center run by Satan himself. I cannot imagine who would find this "gym" appealing except a high school boy looking to buy steroids, although there was one woman who seemed to be the one selling them. Ladies, do you enjoy being ogled by sickly-complected 17-year olds who run 0.3 miles on the treadmill at an all-out pace in a hoodie, WITH the hood up? How about a 23-year old bro wearing seven pounds of hair gel and a tanktop comprised of four strings? Then by God it's your lucky day, as the exclusive demographics of this joint appear to be Really Weird Dudes. Further observations: The music is bad (not normal-bad, you-have-to-try bad), and it is deafening. Blaring Queen on my noise-cancelling headphones failed to drown it out. The lighting is...red. The locker rooms are small and dirty. The ambiance screams Ringworm. The temperature is hardly cooler than the outside (it's called a dehumidifier, friends). On the treadmill I used, half the buttons were straight-up broken and the belt was loose, and it crapped out after 30 minutes. I did not stay to use the weight machines, which were crammed together like tinned sardines, as the urge to escape became, well, inescapable. In summary: I'm genuinely impressed that I managed to move this close to The Worst Gym in the World. Like, what are the chances. Anyway, if you're looking for a stuffy, creepy Exercise Dungeon as imagined by an especially dim middle schooler, check Impact out!!!

I actually really like this Crunch. It's located in a pretty convenient location in Worcester, and…read moreunexpectedly larger than what it looks like it should be. There's also a huge community and other members are quite friendly and enjoy talking to you if you're in between sets. Anyways, on to the actual gym... PRICE: I have the peak membership, which means I have access to other crunch gyms. For $23 you can't beat that price. They do have a $50 annual fee to maintain the space and what not. Which is a one time charge per year. If it were part of the monthly fee, it's just another $4.17 leading to what could be a $27.17ish charge per month. This is actually cheaper than what I was paying at a different Crunch in New York where it was $30/month plus the $50 annual fee and it was smaller. No complaints on the pricing here. EQUIPMENT: They have decent turf space, slam & jam balls, kettle bell racks, a sled, three deadlifting/Olympic weightlifting platforms, three squat racks/rigs, two Smith machines, three bench press racks, and a whole lot of weight machines, cables, and cardio machines. They even have a landmine, which is unfortunately placed right by/in front of the men's locker rooms. Despite the unfortunate placement of the landmine, I'd say there's quite a lot this gym has to offer. They even have decent studio space that you're allowed to use if there aren't any classes happening. CLEANLINESS: Maybe it's the time that I go at, but a lot of the members are wiping down their equipment when they're done and before using even. I feel pretty safe here as a majority of members are also complying with the mask mandate or just wearing masks volitionally to stay safe. STAFF: I've had three or four interactions with the staff on separate occasions, and each time they've been nothing but helpful, polite, and professional. I will say that it's a little odd they'd choose to vacuum the gym floor in the middle of a busy hour every now and then, but the fact they're trying to keep the gym clean is nice. Overall, I would recommend this Crunch location. It's got a lot to offer and it has its quirks. If anything, it's got the necessities for a good membership price, which is mostly what I care about.

My friend has a guest pass here and brought me for the second time. Crunch has everything I need to…read morework out. Their machines are a bit different and use a slider to increase/decrease weight. My slight pet peeve is that the plates aren't the same brand throughout. I see a few different types of the same weight. Crunch also has a tire for working out, which I wish more gyms had! Staff was very nice and I saw them actively refilling cleaning products and such. The parking spot is quite small (at least the one right in front of it), but I'm not from the area, so not sure if there's more space.
