I'm going to be with you." I was mortified. There was no amount of discussion/bribery, that would make him open his eyes (not even the movie helped, whereby he also covered his ears). The MD was incredibly nice about it. At the end, although he never did open his eyes and no part of the exam was completed, she assured me it was ok and next year would be better.
