The quality of care is excellent and the surgery center and staff are top notch. No reason to go out of town for orthopedic procedures.

Quality of care is good but when we go to Tom, we have to go for each individual ailment. We can't just tell him about a couple they want to get all the money they can for each one so every two weeks we are going to the doctor for a separate joint, it's ridiculous. It's all about money. read more

Had my 3rd surgery done at this facility. Dr. Spittle performed my operation this time. He did a phenomenal job. He truely is in my opinion a top notch surgeon. Will never go to them again. Had a referral to them and they said I owed a bill from 20 years ago which I was under the age of 18. They had to fix that first before scheduling an appointment. Went in and was told that since im only 35 they wanted to wait to replace my hips in 5 years' time. They are bone on bone. Found out I was pregnant, and they just dismissed everything after that. Called to get my referrals to Akron's Crystal Clinic and MRI. They stated I need to pay my bill that I have been paying on in full before they can refer me again! Never again will I go to Wooster Orthro! Ridiculous all the way around! read more

Extreme wait times. Told us to be 30 minutes early and didn't even see dr until 45 minutes after actual appointment time! This was for my 2 year old with a possibly broken arm thankfully she is very patient but this amount of time is ridiculous. Also saw multiple people that came in much later than us taken back sooner. read more

Beware of misdiagnosis and make sure that ALL your symptoms are fully reviewed. I spent over $1,300 cash (no insurance) and had 2 MRIs which were physician reviewed and I was diagnosed with "muscle pulls". I had to go to the Cleveland Clinic for an additional appointment and the Cleveland Clinic did full bone scans. It turned out that Wooster Orthopaedic missed my left hip stress fracture, which forced me to walk with a cane for 5 weeks, due to the numbness going down my left leg, and they missed my fractured ribs, which caused excessive pain around my right rib cage. All of these work injuries forced me to miss over 6 weeks of paid work. Not only did they miss these injuries during my evaluation, but these misdiagnosed injuries caused me to lose any Workers Compensation that I could have secured. Fortunately, except for the thousands of dollars of medical bills and 6 weeks of lost wages, the time off and bed rest actually allowed the fractured ribs and hip stress fracture to mostly heal. Make sure your diagnosis is complete and none of your symptoms are just glossed over or dismissed. read more

I made a terrible decision to go to this facility and get surgery. The surgeon was subpar, and now I have to live with the results forever. I should have known because two different professionals I spoke to prior to the surgery told me completely different things about my health issue. I was desperate and they were the cheapest around. I guess you get what you pay for. This was a REALLY hard lesson to learn. I sure hope others do not make the same mistake. read more
