His communication was on point, they arrived on time and I happened to be here and got to overhear him training a new employee (day 1, poor kid meets Me) and he was so great making sure the younger man understood. They determined the thermal seal somehow broke, which stopped the unit. They suggested reaching out to Eli to see if he could help us navigate the warrantied part with Samsung. He was unresponsive, then had his office manager send me a dismissive email saying there was nothing they could do. My contractor then contacted him and Eli stated he did not want to help us. We understood we would have to pay for the repair labor but just needed a hand to get the warrantied part. It's disappointing that he doesn't stand behind and support the product he sells. He lost a customer in us and a contractor that will no longer do business with him.

I called KENCO, in Rollingsford N.H., and they showed up the following week. Their service tech looked over the work, and retired to his truck to formulate the quote using the KENCO "algorithm". 5 minutes later he appeared with $1200 fee to INSTALL the two faucets I'd purchased from Amazon. My wife and I were shocked at the price, and I should have sent him packing, but didn't. He finished the job in 3.5 hours, but for a leaking sweated joint , he'd have been done in under 3. I contacted KENCO asking them to reconsider the $610 per faucet fee, but they were having none of it. Instead I received a long text from Paige whinning about their overhead. If you're considering KENCO, get an up front quote BEFORE the tech shows up at your door, and at least one other quote before work starts.

I had some water leakage issues from the install mostly due in part to the wrong diameter tubing that was put in prior to Martel (not Martel issue). I called them months later to have them come back out and take a look at it and Ed the President came out to look first hand at the issue. He went out to get new tubing among other "fixes" and the water leakage is now resolved. I received a bill from them in error and when I called to inquire about it, they immediately told me to disregard and apologized and that I should not have been billed.
