The salesman was very convincing and were too young and gullible back then, but we've actually been very happy with it all this years. We've had some minor parts replaced for free. I had a pot cleaned and polished. One of the pot burnt and separated at the seam on the bottom, so I returned it, assuming they replace it, but I was told they don't warranty abuse to the units. I admit that I left the pot on the stove a little too long and burnt what I was cooking, but I can't believe that the bottom seam would just separate like that if it hasn't been weakened due to age and the constant scrubbing. The bottom burnt on one side of the pot, only. The side where the seam separated. Why didn't it burn the whole bottom of the pot, since it was centered on the stovetop, getting heat evenly on the bottom. I do not concur with the evaluation of the damage. This is supposed to be a permanent cookware and now my opinion of the product and this company just fell to the floor.

I asked if it was possible to call and have it delivered, to which they said no their walkie talkie didn't have batteries. on a walk I went to customer service where I was then told someone else would need to come and deliver for me. find a person, find a cart, wheel back battery. finally make it back to auto center 20 min later. wait about 40min for someone to start working my car despite only one other person being there and quite literally a staff of 6+ people around. front desk lady starts working the battery. finally lunch break guy appears and it finishes ~1.5hrs after showing up. told I can be reimbursed $10...cool. lady accidentally charges me for $10 (and wouldn't have noticed unless I caught it). stumble through corrections to now reimburse me twice. get to my car, the dash isn't lighting up & across the screen. I go back in to see if someone can take a look ... surely they would/could get the car back to operating condition. was immediately shrugged off as though it was a normal condition. finally convince someone to go outside with me. guy says he doesn't know, it's probably fine, if not go to a mechanic. I explain to him of course I'm not going to go right to a mechanic after getting my car serviced here. at this point the nice other guy in the waiting area comes out and helps me fix the alarms and displays. he unfortunately also realizes that they swapped out the wrong two tires on his car. completely disorganized, lacking customer service. I stopped in to pick up a few items and, as usual, left with a few more than I had planned. They had a great selection of cakes in the bakery, so I couldn't resist bringing one home. I was also looking for pea pods in the produce department but couldn't find them. When I asked an employee for help, they didn't just point me in the right direction. They personally walked me to the exact spot. That's the kind of customer service that's becoming harder and harder to find. I'll definitely be back.

It's become a daily routine over the past couple of years to stop in after work and either bum around, or do my grocery shopping. I'm legit here every day. The night time employees know me well. What my issue is sounds dumb, but I'm representing a LOT of people when I say this, but this place needs to start enforcing the rule of camping out in front of the building for pokemon cards. I've talked to so many other collectors about this, and everyone is frustrated that Meijer tells everyone the earliest anyone can wait in line for cards is 5am. Sounds great, makes it fair for everyone. The issue is they don't enforce it. I've been trying to get my hands on 30th celebration products since they came out and it's impossible to get. So I decided to pull up to meijer at 5am on Friday last week so I could buy some. There were already 50 people in line. I still decided to wait, and I ended up getting nothing. Turns out they were parked there overnight and already started lining up at 1-2am. Unlike these scummy scalpers, I actually have a full time job, and I cannot wait in line that early. They're completely ignoring the rules. I was talking to one of the ladies that usually works nights and she told me to talk to the customer service desk because it's unfair, and they should be enforcing the rule. Fast forward a couple days, I come in before work to talk to customer service, and they tell me that they don't enforce it, they just tell people not to show up earlier than 5, but they don't actually care and won't do anything about it. Why tell people not to show up that early and just not actually enforce it? These people showing up that early aren't actually collectors, they're just scalpers that are buying the product and reselling it at triple the price since they broke the rules and beat everyone else to it. I know in the grand scheme of things, I am merely a little spec compared to their whole customer base, but I'm representing a whole lot of people. Meijer needs to do something about this. Treat your actual customers well. Either make a better system for buying Pokémon cards, or enforce the rule you guys have to combat scalpers. Create a number ticket system. Starting at 5, the people that got there after 5, give them a number, and go down the line until the end, and then once you get to the end of the line, then go back to the front and the people who broke the rules and got there before 5 gets the last numbers since they're entitled and think rules don't apply to them. Meijer, please do something about this. Don't advertise rules that you won't enforce. Treat your actual customers and regulars well. Don't reward scalpers for breaking the rules.
