I liked this place. So much stuff!…read more Clothes, scarves, head wraps, jewelry, mugs, kitchen stuff, garden stuff, candles, gifts, gifts, gifts... Fun to look around. It's right downtown. The proprietor was nice enough to point us in the direction of a downtown coffee shop, which was also a good find - The Hub. Thank you!!

The Beaver Dam Antique Mall just kept going and going and going!…read more The "mall" is comprised of several antique sellers who each have their own little area inside the store. Once you think you are done browsing through all the shops, you notice a set of stairs leading to more finds upstairs and then a third floor! Wow, I could have spent all day here! There are various items from all different time periods and some great deals. I scored a red "train bag" with a 70's style Amtrak button still pinned to the outside. My friends Carolynne and Andy also both found some great stuff. If we had more room in our car, we would have bought some great furniture. I found a cute telephone desk and a writing desk in need of refinishing. Carolynne had her eye on a mammoth set of mail sorting shelves, which would have made a cute bookcase. This will definitely be a stop on our next trip and we'll make sure to rent a U-Haul for all of the great furniture finds.

Not impressed with this place at all. Think more "the crap someone pulled out of grandma's pole…read moreshed" versus hidden treasures. The place is loaded with "knick-knacks". The few furniture pieces lacked character, and were significantly overpriced for their state of disrepair. It's also super offsetting to walk into a store in small town Beaver Dam and to be asked to lock your purse in a locker. This isn't Chicago or Milwaukee, and even more to the point, who even steal grandma's old salt and pepper shaker collection?

I'm a sucker for these bargain places, but left disappointed after visiting this one…read more We stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. Overall the place was organized by category of items and heavily filled with tools from various brands like Milwaukee and Dewalt. In the back room there are larger items for sale such as freezers and large tool cabinets. I was disappointed at the prices they wanted for a chest freezer in rough condition with a banged up exterior...for $20-$30 bucks more of their asking price you could get a new one at local retailer. But according to an employee people buy them for that price and condition when we asked about any room for negotiating cost.

We decided to give it a text and a few minutes. We heard back immediately from the owner and he arrived in less than 10 minutes to accommodate our browsing! We were able to browse the whole store and look at all the hand-made treasures. They have an array of options. I settled on two window cling butterflies. I was so impressed by the pricing, it was $20 per butterfly. I think the value was amazing. This is definitely an older studio and there were some cobwebs and uneven floors to navigate, but it's well worth your time to visit!
