Huckleberry French toast with maple syrup

Food is 10/10, service is great! Highly recommend. They have a cute outdoor seating area with a fire. Good vibes! Would come again!

The food was amazing!!! Do I want to drive back up from Katy, Texas to have another taco? Absolutely!! I'm still dreaming of the best beans I've ever had and the roasted cauliflower tacos just hit the spot soo much!! Definitely a stop if you are in Yellowstone/cook city.

Had the Kimchi 4 Me Burrito. Really good and huge. Not many places to eat in Cooke City; this is a good choice for take out.

I would travel from South Dakota just for the steak taco! So much value for $8. They also were very accommodating for family/grandchildren.

Delicious food, and no need to worry about if what you're eating is vegan!…read moreAs a vegan in Bozeman, having options is relatively new to me, so it's great that this is a delicious option :) Great service and fun conversation while you wait for your food, and it's fun to see what item they have cooking up today! Last time I got the spicy buffalo cauliflower with veggies and quinoa and my fiancee got falafel with veggies and quinoa. Today I got the sausages with (homemade) vegan mozzarella and my fiancee got two sausages. Delicious, and will be returning often!

The three women inside the truck did not wear masks/face shields/gloves or wore them below the nose/mouth. This isn't optional. It's a government mandate for the health and well-being for the public. If you're going to operate a restaurant, follow the rules. It's more than a moral and social obligation, it's the actual law and you are putting lives at risk. I wore a mask to visit your truck because I care about your health and safety. I care about an older family member you may have to care for, or an immunocompromised housemate you share space with. I realized my choices may determine the life or death of someone that is loved and a cherished part of your world. That's what it means to wear a mask or face shield. It means to think beyond yourself and care for those you cannot see and will never meet. It's empathy. I asked you show me the level of care and respect you said "I'll consider it." I will not be back.

Beartooth Cafe. Cooke City, MT. Late June, 2026. My husband and I were traveling from Red Lodge,…read moreMT to Yellowstone National Park (northeast entrance). Unfortunately, the Beartooth Pass was closed between Red Lodge and Cooke City because of snow and high winds -- so we took the longer route that included the Chief Joseph Highway and yet still encountered some snow and sleet on the high elevation Colter Pass. Upon reaching Cooke City, we were ready to treat ourselves with some hot beverages and a piece of dessert. We stumbled upon the Beartooth Cafe. Upon entering, we informed the hostess that we were interested in hot beverages and a dessert and she apologized that they offered only "plain coffee", not the specialty coffees of a restaurant down the street. Perfect, we didn't need a fancy roast. My husband ordered a hot coffee ($3.75), while I ordered hot tea ($3.75). We split a slice of Amish Apple Pie ($11.75). The pie was delicious, and tasted home-made. My husband's coffee was good, and I was offered a tray with tea options. However, by the time taxes and tip were added, we felt that $25 was just too much for two beverages and a split dessert (even in a touristy area with a limited season). Our server was friendly, but we weren't offered refills of the coffee and/or tea until after we had already asked for our check and were ready to depart. The ambiance was Montana rustic. Free parking was directly in front of the restaurant.

Great service Good food and ambiance…read more The Old fashion was Amazing The feel of old fashion saloon, the type you only see in the movies.

Old Saloon was closed for the first half of the week we were there (along with all the other food options) but we managed to pop in Wednesday night after a long, exhausting day. We found half of the dining area was closed so there were only about 6 tables available, plus bar seating (we had 8 people). Service was ok, but we did have to ask for refills each time we needed one and for sugar when it was forgotten. The menu was super limited (different than what their online menu showed which was disappointing because we went for certain things and none ended up being on the menu) and really expensive for what we had to choose from (ex. $4 to add jalapeño and $4 to add bacon to a burger- insane). The food was not great. I got the Big Sky (grilled chicken sandwich with bacon) and it was dry/overcooked. Asked for it with the ranch on the side (I don't like ranch) and it was put on it and on the side. Sweet potato fries were all stuck together and just not great. Overall, maybe we caught them on a bad day, but it was the worst stop we had on our trip. We got food, we ate, it did the truck, but it was over priced and just meh.
