Zero stars! Terrible service & horrible racist staff. I ordered medium dipped cone and went to the truck while my husband grabbed the cone. You guys, when I tell you, this was by far the worst made cone I've ever had in my entire life! It was completely leaning to one side and dripping everywhere. I took it back and showed it to the heavy set girl at the window and politely asked if it could be remade. She had thee Audacity to ask me why, as of she couldn't see the obvious! I told her to look at it. As I eat it, it was going to continue leaking on the side and the bottom. I won't be able to properly enjoy eating it. I LOVE the lemon soft serve!! Ordering a small soft serve still ends up being a big portion of ice cream. Sunday's are pretty good too but I would order a larger size next time. Line is usually long later in the day but if you go earlier it's not too bad. read more

This is the best ice cream shop in Grand Rapids. I've been a Grand Rapids resident most of my life yet tragically had not tried Woody's until summer 2019. Now I can hardly go anywhere else. Peanut butter cookie dough flurry is my personal go-to. There is a drive through for the rainy days when you want ice cream but it's not really an ice cream type day. No matter what you order at Woody's, it's better than what you would've gotten if you ordered the same thing at any of our other neighborhood ice cream joints. read more

Awful! If you consider Hershey's syrup to be 'hot fudge' then by all means enjoy this over priced excuse for an ice cream shop. A $5 sundae with falsely advertised hot fudge, gas station brownie pieces and too much ice cream to toppings ratio is not my cup of tea. I can name a dozen better ice cream places in the area. The lines are way too long, which would seem like a good sign but let me assure you it is not. The girls were very appreciative of a tip at least. read more

Woody's is the place to go for any of your ice cream or frozen dessert needs. It has an excellent menu with the best Hudsonville flavors, phenomenal flurries, and chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches you can't miss. I've been coming to Woody's for 20 years and the quality has never gone down! You can take the Ken-O-Sha bike path to get there too. read more

Woody's has the BEST soft serve ice cream in the area. Portion sizes are large and the prices are much less than chain ice cream shops. Ice cream is more like frozen custard. Location at the end of a dodgy strip mall should not keep you from trying this place. Lines can get quite long but it's worth the wait. Went here recently on a beautiful evening and was disappointed. First, it is in a pretty poor location, just a dirty parking lot with no seating. Second, service was pretty slow. Finally, and most egregiously, there was a rock/pebble in the milkshake. Not a piece of ice or a hard topping, a straight up stone. read more

I feel a little bad for only giving Woody's three stars because I go here all the time but truthfully Woody's is average in just about every way. Their prices are in line with other ice cream shops, maybe a little lower or higher in some places. They have an OK sitting area (that I never see people sitting in for some reason...), the people working here are neither friendly nor unpleasant and while I make this my choice of Ice cream shop, I suspect I could get the same stuff anywhere. I always end up at Woody's because everyone in my family seems to like their lemon ice cream and they do seem to have somewhat of a following but they don't put much effort into making your visit above-average or any different from any other visit to any other ice cream shop. I should also add that they only allow debit/credit card transactions for purchases over three bucks. So, if you're one of those people who only carry a card, make sure you have a couple of bucks on you if you only want a cone or something similar. read more

Faster service and bigger selection than another shop a half-mile down the road. Large portions makes it even more worthwhile of a stop. Sitting area is nice, but use bug spray because it's right next to the woods. I think they require a (small) minimum purchase if you want to use a card. read more

Spongebob popsicle's are the only thing I get here.I would love to try a root beer float though before it closes for the season.Service is good and the lines can get long but it usually flows very smoothly.They do accept debit cards but there's a minimum on the total price before it's allowed,$5 i believe. read more

We left dinner tonight and my mouth was on fire from spicy thai food, so as soon as I saw Cone Stop, I had to stop. This was my first time there, and there were no lines like I see sometimes when I drive by. I ordered a large soft serve vanilla & lemon twist cone ($2.60 with tax). The cone was huge!! I got a large hoping that my husband would eat some of it, but he left most of it to me. Next time, I will probably just get a small vanilla dipped in chocolate. The lemon soft serve tasted like lemon meringue pie mixed with lemon candy....it was a bit of an artificial flavor, but definitely lemony & bright yellow! The vanilla was tasty and creamy. I'm not sure that I'd order anything other than ice cream here, but I will be back to try something else when my ice cream craving kicks in again! The staff was nice & helpful when answering my questions. They do take credit cards with no minimum to spend. read more
