The add-ins seemed to make it all a little grainy in my flurry, but my wife's flurry didn't have that issue. There was also a notable difference in amounts given. Mine is pictured while my wife's was filled to the very brim. We ordered the same size. Normally I get a regular twist with sprinkles and I think I'll stick to that moving forward. Since we've been there before we knew to bring cash, but the gal behind us in line didn't know. It's a little inconvenient to be cash only, but it's their businesses choice. The staff were kind and we got out ice cream quickly. All in all not my favorite ice cream shop in town, but it does what it needs to in a pinch and when I don't want to drive further for a cone.

They have a large candy counter as well as tons of pre-packaged items that make perfect gifts. I chose some caramel corn (excellent) as well as a prepackaged box of assorted creams (also delicious). They make their own ice cream, which is fun since we have a lot of Hudsonville ice cream in this area (nothing wrong with that! It's just nice to see some different options sometimes). I got a single scoop of the berry pie flavor, which is vanilla ice cream with swirls of strawberry and blueberry, and pie crust pieces mixed in. Yum! I added the decadent hot fudge and was so happy. Nate got the praline pecan and really liked it. The total for our two cups was $15 with tip, so definitely pricey for ice cream, but worth it for a treat for me every once in a while.

Since I'm simple and usually get a standard twist cone with sprinkles, I'm easy to please. For me, the soft serve has been somewhat inconsistent; sometimes it's great and sometimes its really soft and has melted quickly which made it a race to eat! I've also had some random texture issues with some flurries. One time my wife had the drumstick flurry and I don't know what happened, but the texture became super grainy and almost like the ice cream was curdling/separating. That for sure felt like a one-off, but is now always in my mind and makes me far less likely to get a flurry. There is almost always a line in the evening and on weekends, but it does tend to more quickly. It's a time to chit chat and gives you plenty of time to check out the extensive menu. I love that it's dog friendly so pals can bring their babes or I get to see other people's dogs! They don't have a ton of seating, but it's not generally presented as an issue.
