Love that they put all their sandwiches in butcher paper. Fresh sliced meats and cheeses. Hubby didn't like the crusty roll but I thought it was great. They have "cash" prices and "credit card" prices. The first night we didn't have the $.50 change and the guy said don't worry about it. Went back the next night and got ham, egg and cheese roll $7, and bacon, egg and cheese roll $7 and another Italian hero $15. We got these specifically to put in the refrigerator for the next day. They reheated beautifully. A lot of bacon on the roll. The last day we were there, I got the Philly cheesesteak $10 and another ham, egg and cheese $7. The Philly was a little greasy but was just as good as the one we had the night before in Philadelphia. This store is full from wall to wall. If they don't have it, you don't need it.

I Also stated that I have paperwork and I can bring it. They both said no it's okay to proceed to keep on making humor out of the situation. They also tried to gaslight me saying I had ate something else, when I was very open and transparent with them to let them know my situation about that night that I had came and gotten a sandwich from them. I also came the next day I caught the food poising to get Imodium. (which they had diamode a spin off version of Imodium) I was also waiting to speak to the right People who sold me the sandwich and the one who made it. Anyways, the lady tried to fake it as if she never sold me the diamode to try to get me to forget about speaking upon the situation Until I mentioned that I have pictures of everything I buy And get from this store. Accountability was never took and reassurance was never given. (it was a man that was in his maybe mid 40s-50s along with the woman that was with him who was making humor out of my situation that they caused. It was also an elderly man with a blue hat that made the sandwich)

I've always eyed the dried fruit at the Nuts Factory in FH but never bought any. I have to say, they were really good and I have to go back for more! I'll be sure to go back and visit this location to try it. Also I love their little pop up nuts factory mascot out front. There was so many things we wanted to buy but we were actually on our way to lunch so we only bought two items... The chocolate is a lil pricey .. L got some Dubai chocolate mixed with dates and one with nuts.. We ate some later on when we got home... it tasted pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate but it I liked the three layers so it wasn't entirely chocolate...I did like the crispy part.. I'd def choose this chocolate over expensive brands from specialty supermarkets..tastes a lot better.

The cheesemongers here know their stuff and are extremely adept at matching you with a cheese you'll love. Admittedly I love all cheese, so it's not hard to please me but sometimes you're looking for something VERY specific. You can come here, describe what you want fairly poorly and without any cheese lingo, and I'm willing to bet money that they will find you a basically perfect cheese for you to come home with on the first try. That's rare. I have had so many times where I've been looking for a cheese, kinda sorta describe it to the best of my ability at the counter and then get a sample of whatever the person brings me and just say "good enough" even if it's not quite the right thing. That's never happened to me here. The selection is huge, the array of snacks and little gourmet bites on the lefthand side of the store is really impressive and I heard they just introduced cheesecake. Also, this place introduced me to Chabichou so I practically owe them my life.

It's one of those cheese shops where you'll smell the cheese before you see it- that wafting smell is indeed incredible haha. There is a very generous selection of cheeses here & I'm sure anyone can find a cheese that they like (& if you don't like cheese, whyyyy)! The employee & I believe owner Abraham was amazing & super attentive & patient with my indecisiveness. I chose a variety of cheeses to take home with my favorite easily being the 3 year aged comté. All in all, albeit this cheese shop is a bit secluded it's worth the visit!

It's a specialty food store (cash only) serving up incredible sandwiches, Italian salads, freshly made mozzarella and more. I've been coming in here since I've lived in Astoria (that's almost 15 years) and every time I visit I find something new to try. Their heroes are delicious - the Italian sub has everything you could want on it, the eggplant parm hero is big enough to feed a small army. Service is friendly even when it's packed. Everyone here is happy to help you. Good food, good vibes.

Sorriso is an Italian deli offering tons of Italian products, specialty meats, homemade mozzarella, sandwiches, snacks, and more! We were in the mood for some delicious Italian subs and came here to satisfy that craving. I got the Italian Turkey Combo but swapped out the Salami & Ham for Roast Beef since I don't eat pork. The turkey and roast beef were sliced fresh onto the bread, the toppings were all super fresh and added so much depth to the sandwich. I will say the bread was a bit hard and didn't seem like it was made fresh that day. The sandwich also could've used some mayo and pickles. I added some mayo when I got home and got a side of pickles which were actually outstanding! They were briny, salty, and crisp. It added a nice texture and flavor the sandwich was lacking. As we were finishing up, the worker stopped by and offered us some complimentary Fresh Mozzarella which melted in my mouth immediately. I would absolutely come back for that and try out their other speciality items. Great try!
