My mother and my sister both gave me the receipts in case he didn't like what they got him, and could return to get something he wanted. All we wanted to do- is exchange for something he would actually wear. When I went to return the articles- with tags still on them, along with receipts, I was told that the only thing they could do was give the credit card that is was purchased on the credit. So- instead of my son getting his birthday presents- we walked out with nothing at all, and the credit was returned to my sister and mother instead. My son was very upset. He lost his presents. This is not a good policy at all, and it makes me not want to shop there unfortunately.

Obviously I would never hold that against the store or let it affect their rating. However, when I went inside and explained to the greeter that a vehicle had been hit and asked if she wanted to check whether the victim was one of their employees, she said that employees typically don't park in that lot, customers do, and seemed very unconcerned. When I said I just wanted to let someone know in case the victim came inside and could she tell them that I called the police and gave them the person's license plate, the employee asked me if I wanted her to call a manager out. I was just really put off by that as this is the first point of contact for people entering the store and I just genuinely wanted to try and help. We did spend some time in the store and in the compound. I like that they have an entire section where you can customize products and gifts and have them embroidered. I haven't seen that before and I thought it was really neat. I didn't care for any of the products that they were offering at that time which qualified for the embroidery, but if that's something you're looking for, they offer it here. They also had dog items and the store is dog friendly. We brought our pup in with us but again she just didn't find any toys that were the right size or that she was interested in. The trip here was kind of a bust for us but I can see why some people might enjoy shopping here. We were told by another traveler that this is a great place to stop for deals, but I didn't see many of those either. There's a campus comprised of multiple buildings and that was a bit confusing. It also seems like it would be easier just to have everything under one roof, but that's just me personally.

Their product knowledge is total, with no hard sell techniques, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Darcy spent plenty of time talking me through helmet fit and finding over-glasses goggles, and Jim took an hour for a full-on boot fitting and worked out a terrific ski/boots/bindings/poles package.
