This shop had been highly recommended to me by an acquaintance of mine who had success selling…read moretheir jewelry and other misc items here. My first impression when walking in was wow, this place looks like a high end pawn shop. It's located in what was once a bank building, there is NO clutter suffocating you and the people behind the counter were very approachable. Being it was my first time, I only brought a couple things. Definitely going back with more. I brought in a pair of gold hoop earrings that were given to me. The man behind the counter was super friendly and sincere. These earrings (although I never wore them) held sentimental value and I felt the appraiser was really understanding to that, not pushy to make a deal. I thought the price he gave me was more than fair - I was really happy about it and I did end up selling. I also came with a DVD player I no longer used. They did ask for a remote which I had but left in the car (but having it added value). They checked the player to make sure it was working and then made me an offer. Again, I don't know where I'd find a better deal aside from me trying to sell it on my own, which I have no time for or desire. SALE #2 = success. Last but not least, on impulse I sold an Olive Garden gift-card I received from one of my students which I'll never use because Olive Garden's food is not real Italian, but that's a whole other story! I saw they bought gift cards so I pulled Olive Garden out of my purse and was thrilled to get cash for it. Overall, I think this service is really cool, the people are knowledgable & sweet, the experience left me happy and a little bit richer! Why not make $ off of stuff you no longer have a need for. With the cash I received I'm going to buy myself something I want...and not feel guilty about it! :)

I went in with low expectations. Had some typical bottom-drawer stuff: assorted coins, some old…read morewatches, cheap cufflings and the like. Got $163.50 for the lot! Turned out one of the coins was a good-size siver Mexican one. I felt I got a fair deal and gained some appreciation and understanding for their business . Anold said it best: " I'll be back..."!

I thought I had left a review previously, but I guess I didn't…read more I had been going to Q's Loan for over a year now, as my move back to NYC ended up astronomically more expensive than planned. I pawned multiple instruments over the course of the time, and rotated the ones in pawn with ones I was using at the time, so I had experience with pawning multiple items, redeeming multiple items, and repawning some when I had to. I have now gotten all of the instruments out of pawn. First thing - if you have ever pawned something, especially if it had monetary and/or personal significance to you, it is an emotional thing. Chris and the entire staff are *absolutely amazing!* I have dealt with sociopaths (not at Q's Loan) behind the counters of multiple pawn shops in other states, who always have the attitude of "are you still here?" as long as they weren't making extra money off of you. Q's Loan always treated me with respect and the fees for the pawns are frankly about 1/5 the interest I paid in other states. The entire staff at Q's Loan were always helpful and never let me lose an item pawned as has happened in other states where I pawned one thing or another. They knew I wanted my things back and made sure I was always aware of my due dates and what the costs were for redemption of items on a particular day. Secondly, the amounts and rates I got for the pawn loans were very fair and manageable. Everyone was always professional but personable. I can't recommend them enough!

Great business. The only place I would trust to leave my valuables. Staff is understanding and…read moretreats you respectfully.
