My friends and I went for happy hour. We had two servers that were exceptional. The drinks were excellent. Plenty of appetizers to choose from. Two ladies had the short rib tacos and one had the fried chicken slider. We shared string onion rights and french fries. All yummy. We sat outside on the patio. Very nice.

First time in Wood Ranch anywhere. Surprising with open room, high ceilings and a very apparent cleanliness. The first thing to eat are the complementary garlic rolls; soft and chewy with a great garlic balance. A great starter app are the shredded onions, if which there are enough for three. The brisket tacos are excellent but next time I will order them sans mashed potatoes (which is the default). The pricing on the happy hour menu is tolerable, given today's restaurant propensities to try to make the day's PC on a single dish. Beer selection is fair but not overwhelming. Service from Joseph was outstanding and we will return before long.

hibiscus marg sub vodka & HH ribs, delicious!

Joseph is such a great bartender! he is so kind, welcoming & genuine! bar food was delicious as always, the ribs were tender & i love the habanero bbq sauce. i tried the pom martini & hibiscus marg with vodka, both very tasty. i couldn't leave without getting a side of their roasted cauliflower & Joseph made sure i had everything i needed including their decadent rolls of bread & a box when i was ready to go. i'll definitely be back, i always enjoy the food & service here :)

I had not been to WoodRanch for a long time. The service was great. Food can be a little pricey but everything is made from scratch. I love the filet, the roasted chicken, and the potato skins.

We have not been back to W.R. Kitchen for years. It is a smaller version of Wood Ranch BBQ. We drove by last night and the parking lot was full so we decided to do dinner here. Restaurant was full inside so we were seated outside on their covered, heated patio. I had Natalie's salad with added salmon. The salad came with spring mix, avocado, cucumber, blue cheese, candied pecans. That was excellent! 5/5 Hubby had the pulled pork plate with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese. The pulled pork was good but it had a bit too much fat. Mac & cheese was good and hubby liked the mashed potatoes. I had a few bites of the coleslaw as he does not like coleslaw. It was good but definitely too sweet for coleslaw. It could be more tangy. The garlic rolls were good, as always.

Great happy hour with $5 Blindes and IPAs which you can't beat. Bartenders are very kind and courteous. Had the Buffalo wings and baby backs which were $10 each for HH. Wings were ok but the baby backs were delish. Would definitely get those again. Sit at the bar watch a game and relax. For Laguna Niguel it's a nice go to. Will be coming back.

Came in for a company lunch at around 2pm so it was after a lunch rush. The servers were really nice and patient with such a large party & were even helpful with suggestions! They gave a us a ton of complementary garlic butter bread before taking our order. They were nicely toasted but a bit too greasy for my preference. I got the tri tip sandwich which was nice but also just a little lackluster. I wish it had some more grilled onions in it or s. The Mac n cheese was just slightly better than Kraft. I doused mine in black pepper LOL

Jacy was our server. She's so attentive and helpful. The food was Excellent. And of course The Street taco was so fresh and delicious. I love the open floor plan that you can see into the kitchen. Very clean. We love coming back here time after time.

Tri tip sandwich for $12. Shouldn't this include a side for $12?

The restaurant features a modern rustic aesthetic with an open kitchen, high energy, and a comfortable lodge-like interior. It is known for being family- and pet-friendly, especially on its spacious, heated outdoor patio. The complimentary garlic rolls are a fan favorite and described as "to die for". Other popular items include the Famous Shredded Onions and the BBQ Chopped Salad.

WR Tri Tip 10 OZ with Mac and Fries. Get the Mac and Baked Beans! 5/5

My wife and son took me here for my 59th birthday, and we loved it…read more We started with the duck wings. Order them. The citrus glaze was so good that my wife, who doesn't even like duck, kept going back for more. My son and I both had the ribeye, and both steaks were cooked perfectly. But I can't believe I'm saying this: the vegetables were what really got my attention. They were fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. My wife pointed out that I was eating more vegetables than steak, which is pretty much unheard of. I'd honestly go back for a bowl of those vegetables alone. These things could turn a carnivore into a vegan. And the steak was excellent, so that should tell you something. The drinks were just as good. My wife had the Lazy Days, a tequila cocktail with lychee and cilantro that puts a regular margarita to shame. I ordered the Don't Rye About It. I'm usually not much of a rye whiskey guy, but I'd order that one again without hesitation. There's so much else on the menu I want to try. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back."

Food was fine. We got the 45 day aged ribs-eye steak and the halibut special but it wasn't anything…read morespecial to note. Steak had a lot of sauce on it which made it very salty and couldn't taste just the meat. Halibut was the better dish. The inside was actually a lot louder than we expected for a nice restaurant. Outdoor patio was more quiet than the inside, so we sat in the patio. Now to the service part. When we first arrived our host was attentive. Saw from our reservation mentioned we are celebrating our anniversary. She congratulated us and asked us to wait a few minutes while the table is set. A large group came after us and they got seated right away, but we figured it was because it's a large group and their table was ready. Fine. Then another couple came after us. The host called us up, so we went, then they changed their mind. They sat the couple who came after us first. Thought, well that was confusing and weird. Why did they call us up if they're just going to seat the other couple first? Whatever, we got seated soon after next to another couple. Our waiter came and greeted us. Everything was fine until mid meal. Mid meal, our waiter went to the couple next to us and congratulated them on their anniversary and offered them a complimentary dessert. We thought "wow they're celebrating their anniversary too! And that's sweet". Then another couple got sat on the other side of us. As they sat, the waiter said "I see you're celebrating your anniversary. Happy Anniversary!". That's when we realized, same waiter didn't say anything to us when we got seated. "Huh." We finished our meal, even ordered dessert. Our waiter gave us our check and still nothing. No congratulations. No happy anniversary. We left the restaurant feeling treated different and not great. Clearly all 3 tables were celebrating their anniversary and were seated right next to each other. We mentioned it in our reservation and that's why the host knew. But why were we blatantly treated so different by our waiter? It was the obvious difference that made us leaving the restaurant feeling weird and discriminated against. Why the inconsistency? Next time we're celebrating anything, we're spending our money somewhere else.
