Great food, this location is quite busy. Very dark ambiance but the service and food were great. The Al pastor fish tacos had a good kick. The dishes here are great. Will definitely come back for more.

I've been back so many times since my first time but I just wanted to give a shout out to our server Katie tonight. She was so sweet, happy, friendly. Had a great time as usual.

Came in for brunch today and got to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast burrito. Son got the Eureka American which he loved. Service was amazing by our waitress. She brought my son some oranges and carrots while we waited for the food. Ambiance is the best. I love the interior, it's gorgeous always! Low lights and plants puts me in the best mood.

We were starving heading down to San Diego from LA with a ton of traffic and rain so stumbled upon this spot bc they had a broad menu that everyone could find something they liked. Service was slow which was the only down side especially since we were so hungry but was a good pit stop. I enjoyed the Bloody Mary and on Wednesdays the smash burger and fries is $9 which is such a steal! Very filling. The vibe of the restaurant was cute. The outside area was nice but it was too cold and rainy for us to venture out there. We sat at a nice booth spot indoors which was cozy

I'm so glad I gave this Eureka! location another shot -- the service this time was amazing. This time, everything felt different in the best way. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who served us -- he was such a sweetheart. It was a rainy day, and since we sat on the patio with our fur baby, he made sure we were comfortable, even offering to turn on the heater and bringing out a water bowl for our dog. My husband and I shared the Wild Child cocktail (still my favorite!), and split the bone marrow burger and wings. The burger was rich and flavorful, and yes -- I upgraded to truffle fries, which are always worth it. We ended with the chocolate bourbon cake, a recommendation from our server, and it was the perfect finish.

Love getting food from Eureka! I usually order pickup via DoorDash and it has never failed to deliver. The food quality is consistent and it's helpful they are open late. It's nearly impossible to find anything not fast food open past 9pm in Aliso. Even McDonalds closes before midnight! And I would pick Eureka anything over eating unhealthy junk food past 10pm. Not everyone works a 9-5 cake job ya know. The seared salmon platter I ordered recently was absolutely delicious. Loved the string beans and ripped potatoes too. The accompaniments really made the salmon taste great and filling by giving contrasting texture and flavors. Very well executed especially knowing I usually hate ordering something that can otherwise so easily resemble hospital food. But this? I wouldn't mind eating every night. The kids chicken bites were also delicious. It comes in a good portion size and everything tasted fresh. Big shoutout and THANK YOU to all the staff members there for consistently delivering great quality food and service!!

Went there for my wedding rehearsal dinner. First of all the restaurant was very nice even after us having to change the number of guests repeatedly. Drinks were pretty good and had good amount of alcohol. I got the protein bowl with blackened salmon. Pretty good food. The truffle fries and the brussel sprouts were really good. Our waitress was amazing. She was super attentive and nice. She got all the drinks and food for 20ppl. She gave us good recommendations too.

Eureka is my go to when I'm not sure what I want for dinner. I tried the new item, the Steak Frites, and that was not great. The meat was not salted and the chilmichurri sauce overpowered everything. The Cobb salad was delicious! I did replace the grilled chicken with fried chicken which made it even better. Bar drinks and service were great.

We love coming to Eureka for their happy hour. We went on a Friday and Saturday night for 2 and there was no wait. You can always set a reservation to avoid any wait times. From their "hoppy hour," The wild child and spa day margarita are really good. Both $8.50. We enjoyed the Eureka American burger, mac and cheese balls, and truffle cheese fries.

I visited eureka on a Sunday early evening for a family dinner. Parking was easy with a lot right by the restaurant. There were some other customers dining, but it wasn't too busy. The servers were very friendly & attentive throughout our meal. We ordered the mac n cheese balls to share with the table, & I got the al pastor fish tacos. I also had a few bites of my mom's salmon plate, & everything was delicious. We've been to eureka countless times, & we're already looking forward to visiting again.

I've been to Eureka! a couple of times at their Fresno location, but this was my first visit to the Aliso Viejo spot since it opened. It was just as I remembered--great food and a laid-back atmosphere. I called around 5 PM on a Sunday to see if we could make a reservation for our party of seven, but they only accept reservations up to two hours in advance. Luckily, it wasn't busy, and we were seated right away. We chose to sit inside, though the patio looked inviting--something to try next time. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, from the fish and chips to the burgers, wraps, and salads--everything was fresh and well-prepared. The only downside was the limited drink options for kids. Since mine don't drink soda, the choices were pretty much just lemonade and orange juice. There were mocktails available, but those didn't really appeal to them. Overall, a solid experience with great food and friendly service. I'd definitely come back--just hoping for a few more kid-friendly drink options next time!

It is so happening here on a Friday afternoon for happy hour! They have really good brussels sprouts. The manager is super cute and nice. I got salmon to go and some fish tacos to take home for dinner. The service is really good and much better than it was last time I was here and they have a few gluten-free options

In some dishes, that flavor profile worked really well, but in others, it definitely didn't land the same way. We started with the warm artisan rosemary focaccia served with whipped honey butter. The bread itself had that same subtle tang I noticed throughout the meal, but the honey butter balanced it out nicely. The added sweetness helped cut through the tang, making it much more enjoyable overall. Next, we had the baked skillet mac and cheese, which was easily the standout of the entire meal. I don't say this lightly, but it was about as close to perfect as mac and cheese can get. It was rich, creamy, well-seasoned, and had that ideal baked texture on top. This dish alone made a strong impression. We also ordered the cast iron roasted Brussels sprouts. These had a similar tangy-sweet flavor like the focaccia, and overall they were actually quite good. However, the raisins added to the dish didn't really contribute anything meaningful. At first glance, I even thought they were corn, which was confusing. While the sprouts themselves were well-cooked and flavorful, the raisins felt unnecessary and didn't elevate the dish. The Caesar salad was probably my least favorite item. I'm not entirely sure why it was labeled a Caesar salad, because it didn't resemble the classic version at all. The Tijuana vinaigrette was extremely overpowering and leaned heavily acidic, almost like eating straight lemon. It lacked the creamy, rich, balanced flavor you expect from a traditional Caesar, which made it disappointing. For the main, I had the prime 10oz flat iron steak frites. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, the fries were cold when they arrived, which took away from the overall experience of the dish. Overall, the meal was okay. It's not something I would rave about, but it might be worth trying at least once. With such a limited menu, I expected a bit more consistency and refinement across the dishes. It wasn't the worst meal I've had, but it also wasn't the best just somewhere in the middle.

For all the restaurants in this center, in my opinion, Fennel is the best dining option if you want a sit down restaurant. Everything I've ordered thus far has been excellent, fresh, tasty, never dry. The service has always been extremely accommodating and the one time I've been disappointed in my original order selling out and having to wait too long for the final dish, they went out of their way to make sure I was given extra fries (which are excellent) and extra things to dip my heaping scoop of hummus into. Don't skip the cocktails, or really any of their handmade drinks. I cannot not get a cardamom latte at brunch, and it's so fun picking which cocktail to get to unwind with whatever dinner entree I go with (usually the salmon bowl). The entrance to the golf course/clubhouse is secured and requires a resident to call in or be with you. The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so decided to eat outside even though it was a bit chilly and I had intentionally left my jacket at home. It's a diner type menu, with dishes that can be prepared using mass produced shelf-stable ingredients procured from food service companies. I've found that the best instances of this can often be found in the frozen section of Costco. It can be quite satisfying when prepared with care and served with grace; can be well valued...especially if one is there for the company and environment, not so much for the food. The four of ordered the following, and because the people at the table knew me very well, they offered food from their plates so I could sample. Fish and Chips ($15.99) - three pieces of cod, cole slaw, and battered fries. Everything had been well prepared, deep fried, and served hot. Grilled Salmon ($18.99) - a large salmon steak, expertly grilled. Vegetables were varied. Greek Gyro Plate ($15.99) - 6 slices of a beef/lamb, pita bread triangles, with battered fries, and tsazki sauce. It came with a mixed green salad. Service was great throughout, constantly checking on us and keeping our beverages refilled. It's very clear that the various parts of this establishment are well run. After a lot of rain, we have been on a bit of an extended sunshine streak since the new year. So eating outside on a covered terrace with overhead heaters, with great friends, ended up being a memorable experience. Love it when the recalled memory while writing a review actually bumps up the rating a bit.

Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly. Going to far as to modify a meal for my husband, who keeps a strict diet. I got the short rib and mash, and it was really flavorful. I added some veggies to feel better about myself. They didn't have anything green, but you take what you can get. The vibe was fun and vibrant. Lots of laughter. Great viewing with TV's. There is good seating for families. Really happy we found this place.

When we ordered drinks, the bartender already seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the visit. To avoid any issues and just enjoy ourselves, we decided to sit outside quietly. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. Two employees came outside and approached us in a very disrespectful way and made a racist remark, referring to us as "two tequilas" and saying "clean up those two tequilas," basically telling us we needed to leave immediately. It was extremely uncomfortable and offensive. No customer should ever be treated that way. Restaurants and bars should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. Allowing employees to behave in a racist and disrespectful manner toward customers is unacceptable. What makes it even more disappointing is that I was actually considering bringing a group of coworkers here in the future. After this experience, I absolutely won't be doing that. The service was rude, unprofessional, and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing afternoon.
