He told me he always order take out from this place, and not to my surprise, we ordered takeout. For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab. To my surprise, these portions were huge and plentiful. However, what I like about this establishment is the fresh ingredients they supply. When they needed more lettuce, one of the employees took out a whole lettuce ball, and chopped them. I was astonished to see that they do things fresh from what I've seen. Tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce were fresh and vibrant. The chicken was moist and abundant. It was filling and I had leftovers. I was really happy with the meal we had. The time it took for us to receive order, on the other hand, took way too long. It was quite a while, but to be fair, there was a lot of people who have ordered before us. It was also amazing to see the high volume of traffic this place gets. The takeaway appeal it provides to its clients is highly efficient, but less effective if it takes too long.

We're so glad we found Sultan Sofrasi. Great food and best of all the service was a lot better than I expected from a random corner restaurant! I believe our server's name was Mardalina. She has such a positive attitude and even though we had two toddlers with many different requests, she managed them all with a smile and always had her eyes on us, so we didn't have to look for her in a picnic. The food arrived later than we had requested and the pitas were super dry and the Chicken as well. If I were in NYC and looking for a catering option at least there are plenty of better options. The customer service for what it's worth was not good either. We called them after our vent to suggest what they might have done better and it was not taken well. Hard to not be turned off by a customer's always wrong respons.
