We called CORRIGAN and he took no responsibility but said he could redo it for $5000. We agreed reluctantly. It now exhibits substantial cracking and breaking pieces. It appears that CORRIGAN does not have any employees. Rather he seems to be a middle man, subcontracting any job he gets, while approximately doubling the subcontracting fee. This has value if he utilizes competent subcontractors. Unfortunately it was not the case in either instance. You can use Google to search for a contractor, close your eyes, point at the screen, and have a better chance of finding a competent contractor than by calling CORRIGAN. Even if you pointed at poor choice, you could repeat the process and find another contractor while likely spending less money than you paid CORRIGAN

However, the $800 estimate became a quote for a $3000 luxury brand carpet (Masland) that, when installed, was two sample-swatches lighter than the swatch from which we ordered; color varied from one part of the carpet to another depending on lighting; and it shows footprints when walked on. See photo. A color variance claim was denied by the manufacturer, based on comparing their roll to a scrap of the carpet they sent us rather than comparing to the swatch provided before ordering. None of these possible complications were explained to us in advance. The installation was excellent, though.

The quote I got was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. Ceilings, trim and walls. Leon communicated with me about his availability and we had the job scheduled. Each day I was told what to expect and was given their time of arrival which was very helpful since I have dogs that needed to be corralled. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! My rooms are a perfect reflection of what I wanted. Leon works clean and is so friendly I was almost sorry the job was over. I will continue to use Girard for all my future painting jobs.
