As a kid growing up, I was deathly afraid of the dentist as I had some bad memories of my teeth being pulled out due to cavities. As a result, I boycotted going to the dentist for about 10 years.
During high school I needed braces to fix my bite and was advised by the orthodontist to first get my teeth cleaned. Was recommended by a relative to go see The Wong Family Dentistry and initially first worked with Dr. Allen Wong (Bryan's sibling) but due to a schedule conflict one day I was assigned to Bryan and since then have worked with Bryan.
During my 4 years in college on the west coast and working in Japan for 3 years, each time I came back to Hawaii I'd squeeze in to have Dr. Bryan Wong clean my teeth. He exemplifies the professional - very kind, informative and executes his duties.
The staff in his office are very cordial as they greet you with a smile and extend that warm Aloha as you walk in. Recently I needed to have emergency work done on my tooth and his staff went the extra mile to contact me when there was an earlier opening due to cancellation.
It's been 25 years now since working with the Wong's and believe it or not, I enjoy going to the dentist now.
NOTES: Located in the building just next to Pali Longs / Safeway, they have their own customer parking and haven't had parking problems each time I see the Dr. Wong. read more
