This place is hit or miss. Went last time to get a polish change on my toes and dip powder with tips $42. Nails were amazing. Just went and paid $70 for a refill of my dip powder and they put a whole new set of tips on when it was un necessary. Got my fingers all cut up from the nail files and left in so much pain. Got home and realized my nails are all uneven and bumpy all over. I'm not confrontational so I wasn't about to argue the price, but I'll never be going back. I went for a Gel Manicure. They used a electric file to take my previous polish off and then file my nails again to make them even. I feel like I have no nail left. She started to prep my nail for polish and I asked her about a manicure part and she had no idea what I was saying. She then pulled out dirty clippers and was going to clip my cuticles. I pulled my hands away and said NO!! I told her to just polish them. They then charged me 35 for a Gel Manicure. I explained to them that I didn't get a manicure just a polish change. I've been here a few times and it is hit or miss but it's near my house and really convenient. I've always had the men do my nails and they do a really nice job. Today I had a lady fill my acrylics with a gel polish. She was really rough on my fingers with the electric file and painfully cut me three times and made me bleed. When I twitched my hand after she cut me I was told to relax. I mentioned she was hurting me and she said nothing. On top of that she hurried to get them done and the shape and length of my nails are all uneven. She didn't clean my nails before painting them and there are nail shavings under the polish making it bumpy and uneven. The place is also dirty but I've always overlooked that because of the previous good experiences I've had there. She put on a pair of latex gloves that were clearly used and had holes in them. The file I was cut with was clearly used and who knows how many other people have been cut with it. All of the tools she used were covered in polish and the dip paint. read more

This place is a hit or miss! I was looking to find an inexpensive place to get my nails done that was close to home. Found it as I was driving through town. This place gets packed any time after 12 noon -1pm. I suggest to come earlier before then or call to make an appointment. First time going in, they were very nice. As I was chatting away with one of the employees. I found out that they were also from Flushing, Queens. I was extremely happy to find people from NYC. I told them I wanted tips and a pedicure. Their customer service was really good. They take good care of you. Kind and patient. They are doing what's right for the customer. I wanted a design done on my tips and I had showed the nail guy technician what I wanted done through a picture. He was able to get it done. After I was done with my hands. They will give you a few minutes of a neck massage from being seated for such a long time. Those are great to have. When it came down to the pedicure. Let me tell you, the moment you get half way in the pedicure you get the foot massage! Ohhh I loved the foot massages. Pressure points on all levels reactivated! read more

I got athletes foot/ infection right after coming here. They don't clean their equipment, don't go, overpriced for giving out infections.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star if it was an option. I stopped going to this nail salon because awhile ago I saw them dump the solution you soak your fingers in back in the same jar they took it from then used it on the next person. GROSS! Went the other day due to time limit and probably the worst manicure I have ever had. The place is filthy. Not sure how they stay in business let alone pass a health inspection. Such a disappointment. I made an appointment in advance, but still sat there for more than forty minutes waiting to have my nails done. It was pure chaos, and I eventually left, after walk in after walk in was taken before me. They have service on their board and website that they don't even offer, and try to get everyone who walks in to do the dip color, whether that's what they ask for, probably because it's quick. After I left, I realized she didn't trim my toenails properly and when I came in I had red polish on my toenails that left a yellow tint to the nail, she never buffed it out, which left my French manicure looking like hell !!! I have the case of the pissies after leaving Wonderful Nails today. I went in for a and pedicure and my manicure with gel polish. When, I walked in I clearly told them I have gel on my nails. I asked about there color choices for gel. They don't have a good selection of colors. Anyways, I picked a color. They made me sit for my pedi. The man was telling me about doing gel for my toes for an extra $25. I asked if they have the matching color of gel in a regular polish and he can back with another color from a different brand. I told him no thank you. I'd like the color to match. I went with clear polish on my toes. So he starts with my pedi and then this young girl comes over and changes hands with the guy. No biggie. She doesn't say a word to me. Nothing! Not even a hello. I don't think she even looked at me. I'm sitting there waiting for her to put the foils on my nails to take the gel off... That takes time. I got nothing from her. She finished with the clear polish on my toes and ask me to move to the nails table. I walk over and sat down. She then tries to take my clear gel off my nails with nail polish remover. I then told her that is not polish, it's gel. She's got pissy with me and was bitching at me for not letting her know sooner?... She talked to the guy who started my toes. I assume that he relayed the message over to her that I had gel on my nails. They're speaking in their language, but you know this. Right!... I don't know what they're saying. Well she starts thrashing things around the table and she gets up she go get a bowl of this chemical. She upset with me!... For reals! She has me stuck my fingers in it to soak in this chemical. Then she starts filing my nails down to get the gel off... I was not okay with this. I know this is not how you take the gel off. I then asked her how come she doesn't use the foils to remove the gel? That was it. She unleashed on me. She went trurbo bitch on me. I was being kind until her bitching at me. Not okay. I want her to not rush me and to do her job right. I don't care about the time. I want it done right. I don't want her filing my nails down to nothing with the nail file. The last four nails she did the foils. What a joke. She was so rude talking in her native tongue to the other associates. I then stood up for myself. I told her that I let them know that I had gel on my nails when I walked in. She starts arguing with me. Guess, I need to talk to her even though she couldn't even in knowledge me. That's was it. I asked for someone to finish my nails. I will not be called a liar and treated badly. I felt that she had no "professionalism". Then they other guy comes over to finish up. Nice guy. He was doing things right. When I was done I was charged full price for the inconvenience on me. I was just wanting out of there so I paid it. I was so upset. I didn't get an apology... nothing. I left and then went back. I asked them to take the gel off and give me a refund. Once I got outside in the daylight my nails were all jacked up. Bubbles and debris in the polish. I wanted them to take the crap off. I wasn't happy for the way I was treated and then being charged full price for their rudness. I told the manger lady I wasn't coming back. She gave me $25 back. She's didn't say anything. Not even an apology. I took my almost filled stamp cards and gave them back and told her I won't be using them. She tossed them aside. I was waiting for an apology.
