Mike came promptly and was a good communicator, everything was set up on time (in fact, we ran a little over time, and they were great about that too), and the atmosphere was amazing. There are so few "real" rules to the game--it's basically a great way to get out aggression and have a blast doing it. It does get SUPER tiring and SUPER sweaty (they disinfect the balls in-between each wear-er), but it was the most fun I've had in recent memory. Thank you for the fantastic party!

There's also a natural distraction to try to knock everyone else over. Have more fun and burn more calories faster than you may normally do with conventional sports. Bumpball is ideally played on a smooth indoor surface (baskteball court) but can also be played in certain areas outside. We require participants to be in good health and sign a waiver before playing. The rules of the game must be followed as well as the direction of the ref. While games can be played outside, our games are typically played in gyms, fitness centers, and sports complexes. Games usually take 45 minutes with a 5 minute break after 20 minutes. Leagues usually consist of 6 games (1 per week). See the videos on our website if you are unfamiliar with this game/sport that is taking over Europe and now in the US.

I do have a helpful tip - do your group a favor and get your waivers filled out BEFORE your event. It's a simple process to fill them out, but they must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

I was under the impression we were playing outside. The other teammates I met also thought the same thing. I would've NEVER purchased tickets had I known it was going to be in a gym. It was VERY hot inside the bubble as you can imagine! The bubble weighs 25lbs so it's very cardio intensive! This would be perfect outdoors when the weather is cool. Also, I highly recommend wearing knee pads! They tell you not to fall on your knees, instead try landing sideways but at times it was hard not to when people run into you unexpectedly. I might give this a try again but I will triple check to make sure it's at a park and not a gym. I felt the ad was misleading. They should be more specific. Also, would've been cool if they gave us more time for photos but they were preparing for the next team right after. The referee took one and said she would post it but I don't see anything yet. Overall, I got my workout and my team won! Yayy
