My pedi was only $35 but I would have definitely spent $45 for the extra herbal treatment. Kim proceeded to show me 2 inches of length to trim and I agreed. She started in the back so I didn't see what she was doing but something didn't feel or sound right. When I looked down and saw 4 inches of my hair on the floor I said, "What are you doing?! What are you using?" She stepped around to talk to me and she had a razor in her hand! She was cutting my hair with a freaking razor! You do NOT use a razor for a blunt cut! Any first-week salon student knows that! I tried to tell her again what I wanted but she wouldn't let me talk. She kept saying in broken English, "Yeah, I know. I know." She switched to scissors, completely ignoring my instructions. I told her I was VERY unhappy and wanted to leave. She said, "But I make your hair soft!" The rest of the conversation - and I use that term as loosely as Webster will allow - was just as ridiculous. My hair upon leaving the salon was shoulder length, choppy, uneven, and looked like something you would discover on Barbie after a 4 year old with scissors decided to experiment with her hairstyle. I went straight home and fixed the damage myself (I've cut family members' hair for years). The salon owner was very professional and immediately refunded the cost of my haircut when I showed her my hair and told her how unhappy I was. Bottom line: I can definitely recommend them for nails and pedicures, but for a haircut you'd be better off putting your locks in a dull blender!
