Excellent! I found this place on Uber eats and I was not disappointed. The fried shrimp arepa was filled to the max. I added some cheese and pico to it and that help make it fantastic. I definitely think it was worth the money because there was a ton of meat/shrimp inside of it. I think I will try the barbecue one next but this is an easy five star just off of the amount of food you get.
Awesome little hidden gem. You walk in and order on a touchscreen. The menu is in both Spanish and English. Once you order, there are a few tables to eat in or you can get it to go. The arepas are AMAZING. I would highly recommend giving this spot a try.
I've ordered from here two times and both times have been two different experiences. The first time here, I ordered the Arepa Safrina and the Arepa de Pabellon Criollo. WOW. AMAZING. I've had arepas before, but these were over the top. They were SO DELICIOUS that I came back the next week. The 2nd time here, we ordered the Arepa Safrina again but asked for no cilantro and Arepa LLenera. For some odd reason, there was extra cilantro (my girlfriend hates it with a passion) and the steak one was just ok. I will come back for another try. I am sure its definitely just the arepa choice that makes the difference.
Food was delicious! The arepa itself was huge and tasted good! But inside the restaurant it was hot!! No A/C, We were litterally sweating while eating our food which is why I gave 4 stars plus the variety of sauces could be a little better. We will have to return to try other dishes but next time we will order to go.
(1/5/2024) we came for a weekday lunch. Ordering was at tablet kiosks. The dining room is small, looks like 50-50 dine-in and carry out. There's 5 or so square tables that could be adjust to accommodate different party sizes, but maybe max 14 dining in. Our party had several arepa newbs. The Monster Arepas on the menu are exactly that, bursting at the seams stuffed with meat and cheese. When they say cheese on something, they mean lots and lots of cheese. I had a fried Wonder Arepa with chicken salad, BBQ shredded pork, grilled slab of cheese, and avocado slices. It was excessive with meat, love the crisp cornmeal arepa it was stuffed into. Be forewarned, there's a significant amount of oil that drips out, keep the paper wrapper on it to rein in the unwieldiness. The tequenos are delicious better versions of a cheese stick wrapped in pastry. Ours were hot, but a little doughy, I like it fried/baked more with more browning of crust, but maybe that's just how they do it. It almost seems like there's a single person working there, she was very nice and attentive as she could be. We might have overwhelmed her with our party of 7, but they did a great job with getting the food out at soon and hot as possible. Looking forward to the catering options!
Every time I go to Orlando, I find the best Latin food. This is another place to add to it. My wonder arepa was WONDERFUL. There is some food that I wait to finish the leftovers to see if I like it. This is one that I know I loved and excited to have it for a left over. The beef they use has a sweeter taste to it and the shredded chicken they use is like a chicken salad but not as heavy on the mayo. I wouldn't like it if it had too much mayo. They also have huge pieces of avocado and huge pieces of cheese(not just any cheese either. They made sure that the flavor was there. No sauce needed whatsoever. The arepa is huge. No side is needed but if you do get a side of tequenos(fried cheese cheese). My hubby ordered the beef cachapa. I always love cachapa because of their sweet corn taste and soft texture. The beef he had was good but after I tasted mine it was just ok. They have different flavored meats which is good because they have variety and you can tell the difference. It's still very good, but I favored mine more. My hubby had a passion juice. My only suggestion is to give an option to make it with milk. With water it's more sour. My papellon with limon was my preference. It's like a sweeter version of an Arnold Palmer(ice tea and lemonade). The service was great. She explained everything. She forewarned that the menu was all in Spanish. That's ok because I work with pictures. Their yelp pics are okay but their Instagram pictures are the best. I loved this place and the food was excellent. It will not measure up to anything where I live and I know that for a fact unless something new pops up. Definitely Orlando, you got me with your Latin food!!! Come here and don't look back. The outside especially at night doesn't look the greatest. But when you walk in the doors, you will come into Venezuela. Their menu says "Un Pedacito De Hogar!" That means a little piece of home so quite sentimental for the owners!
If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan comida, this is your place. Arturo is from Venezuela and pours his heart and soul into the food. Eat with your hands - don't mind the mess - enjoy the food. Everything has cheese, everything is made fresh
Large portions and big flavors. I was craving an arepa and I couldn't resist trying this place after seeing the photos on yelp. I had the wonder arepa, and there was no wonder it's a favorite. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure that pot roast and chicken salad with avocado and fried cheese would work. It totally works! Just the chicken salad alone was my favorite part. Can't miss the fried cheese! There do not skimp on portion size.

I love the way that the menu is set up. You just scan it with your phone and order everything through there and pay yourself. If you have any questions, the gentleman working here was more than willing to answer any questions that I had and was very kind. The food was delicious. I ordered reina apapiada, tequeños de maíz, arepas fritas, and my best friend ordered the pork arepa. I honestly cannot say anything negative. Great little spot!
Good food but little misleading, menu prices are not the same as what they charge. We ask for 2 beef and chicken arepas y 2 Pepsi. No cheese no extras. Each arepa is prices at $9 at the menu. We end up paying $30.39. The math doesn't add up. No tip included.
Delicioso! I was craving Venezuelan food this afternoon, so I ordered from here for the first time with my family via UberEats. As I always say when I write my reviews when I order to go: I can't speak on ambiance. Regarding service, they packed up our order pretty quick and it was delivered earlier than the estimated time which was nice. I got us a few things to share: TEQUEÑOS (order of 5 minis), CACHAPA DE QUESO, AREPA PELUA (FRIED/FRITA), AREPA DOMINO (GRILLED/ASADA) + sauces: CILANTRO & GARLIC/AJO Y CILANTRO, PINK SAUCE l/SALSA ROSADA, CHIPOTLE HOT SAUCE/PICANTE. Everything was delicious! We always love tequeños. I wish more restaurants served the bigger ones, but the minis are still yummy. The cachapa had the perfect sweet-salty balance. My favorite item today was the arepa pelua. We ordered it fried, so it was nice and crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful meat and cheese. The arepa domino was also delicious. The black beans could have had a bit more seasoning, but it still hit the spot. All 3 sauces we ordered were great. My mom, my sister, and I each picked a different favorite! Mine today was the cilantro garlic, my mom's was the chipotle hot sauce (while not actually spicy, it had great flavor), and my sister's was the pink sauce. As for prices, it's pretty expensive, but I find most Venezuelan restaurants I've ordered from to be! We look forward to ordering more from here soon! read more

Whenever I'm in town, no matter what side of Orlando I'm on I will make my way to visit this restaurant. The food is above the rest when it comes to Venezuelan food. The service is also really good, especially since they have self serve kiosk and they will get you in and out. Highly recommend this location. read more
If you love arepas, you are going to love this place. Wonder Arepa does some of the best Venezuelan food around. I highly recommend their pollo and avocado arepa. They also have an excellent steak version as well. One of the best parts is just the giant glob of delicious cheese that is on top of each of the sandwiches. The maize (corn) that makes up the "bread" is incredible. So soft and seasoned well. If I had any complaints, it would just be that I wish they had some type of sauce or a hot sauce to go with the dish. Not that it is overly dry, but it definitely could use some liquid to make it a little more moist. a hot sauce specifically would be excellent to give a little variety and acidity to the savory dish. read more

Wow, just wow! This place was phenomenal. I'm Venezuelan born, it's safe to say that I've had my fair share of arepas and this place hits the spot on so many levels! I have tried many places in the past and none had been able to perfect an arepa like this place. The arepas are perfectly balanced, you taste everything individually and all together at the same time. The miracle of it all? You can actually still taste the arepa. read more

The perfect restaurant to eat an arepa made to perfection, they have a wide variety of fillings and as if that were not enough they also sell cachapas, patacón, Venezuelan breakfasts and lunch, it is an excellent option for those who like to enjoy a good breakfast even when they open something late in the morning. read more

Its never fun for me to leave a bad review for a restaurant but I truly do not feel it is being represented for what it is on Yelp. This one one of the rare occasions I feel I have been led astray by reviews. I will start off by saying the food was great! It looked great and tasted great but the restaurant is NOT clean. I went to the restroom to find that the toilet seat was on the floor, there was no toilet paper, and no paper towels. I let the waiter know and we did move the toilet seat back on top of the toilet and gave me a roll of toilet paper but I still did not feel comfortable. When I got my drink which was an orange crush from their soda machine I noticed there were a few black flakes in it. After the bathroom incident I decided not to mention it to the waiter and drink water I had brought. I know from working in restaurants that this occurs when the nozzles to the drink machine are not routinely cleaned and they build up mold. Our food took a while, easily 25-30 minutes though we were the only people there except a couple waiting on a takeout order on a Friday night at 7pm. The food was really good, we had a steak arepa with grilled cheese (one of the best I have ever had), a chicken pepito, and their tres leches. However, it was very hard to enjoy given the cleanliness of the restaurant. I could only think about how unclean kitchen must be given the state of their dining room. My boyfriend even saw a bunch of flies sitting on the containers that hold their sauces up on the counters when he went to pay. It was truly not a good experience and I would never return to this restaurant which is disappointing because their food definitely has the potential to make this place great. read more

Switching my review due to the random issues with ordering online through yelp. First time we ordered online, they were closed and forgot to turn off their online ordering. They did call us to let us know snd apologize, our money was refunded. Second time we order online through their yelp: we received a confirmation email, arrived to pickup but they were unaware of our order and never received it. We showed confirmation email, they apologized, and started on our order. Just one more thing, no Cazon empanada available, again, so that was removed from our order. Apparently that is a seasonal item but it is on their menu year round. A quick menu adjustment would be helpful. read more

SOMEONE CALL GUY FIERI, STAT!! I'm coining a new term here- flavordrunk. I love the food. My daughter said, "The food is so good, I could cry." I love the service. They speak English and Spanish here. They smile with their eyes. The portions are huge. This is the first time I've seen my husband unable to finish his plate. Recommend everything on the menu that they've got to offer. Holy flavor Batman. read more
