The food is excellent here. I always order the gryot, pork chunks, that comes with plantains, rice and beans, and salad. The pork is perfectly fried, never greasy or fried in subpar oil. This meal comes with a delicious sauce to dip and pour on everything, and the traditional pikliz or spicy cabbage. I must say that when this place first opened, the pikliz was spicy, as it should, but now it is less spicy. Either way, it is fresh and tasty. If food doesn't trigger you to visit, maybe knowing that the owner is an immigrant Haitian woman may motivate you to stop by.
