4mini chicken pate. Don't let the picture fool you, the flavor is amazing, it has so much flavor and some spice! Love some spice!

The 4 mini chicken pate exceeded my expectations. Super flavorful and dough is crispy and flavorful as well. Highly recommend as an app if u want that crunch with juicy insides.

This is my favorite Haitian restaurant right now. It replaces Adventel Restaurant, another Haitian eatery that used to occupy this space. Even though there are tables and a counter, and an operating bathroom, this place functions more like a takeout window than a restaurant. I have come here many times already and very happy that they are still open, but I am yet to see people sitting down at the tables having dinner. It may change in the future. The food is excellent here. I always order the gryot, pork chunks, that comes with plantains, rice and beans, and salad. The pork is perfectly fried, never greasy or fried in subpar oil. This meal comes with a delicious sauce to dip and pour on everything, and the traditional pikliz or spicy cabbage. I must say that when this place first opened, the pikliz was spicy, as it should, but now it is less spicy. Either way, it is fresh and tasty. If food doesn't trigger you to visit, maybe knowing that the owner is an immigrant Haitian woman may motivate you to stop by. Support your community, support diversity, support culture, support authentic food, and finally, support GOOD FOOD!

I normally don't trek out to this area, but every once in a while I do... and when I do, I notice…read moremore and more Haitian restaurants. Having lived in Haiti, I truly enjoy Haitian cuisine and know many of the dishes that this unique Caribbean nation provides. Anything fried is better when Haitians fry it. Case in point: gryot. Gryot is none other than deep fried pork chunks, however, this pork rivals the 11 spice secret recipe of the Colonel. If you know how to make gryot, and you can count, you may go over 11 spices. For this reason, gryot made right is a delicacy. Add to that another spice crazed dish, the simple and humble Haitian rice and beans, called "diri kolle", and you got the proverbial foodie party in your mouth. Blessing D is a very simple operation. I called and ordered in English, not Haitian Creole, from a 4 item menu online, showed up, and paid. I got a tray of food large enough to feed 3 people. It came to about the average $15 for this dish at other restaurants, but the quality was superior. Now, is it the best rice and beans? Almost there. Is it the best gryot? Almost there. Was it good? It clearly exceeded expectations, considering the food is not home made style and not fully gourmet style. It's both, yet you know whoever is in the kitchen likes fancy cooking. And I appreciate that. Finally, I have to mention the "pikliz", which is a brined/pickled cabbage and hot habaneros mix that accompanies this dish. It is fresh and spicy as it should be, and one of the best I've had in a while. If all these 3 key components of a simple dish are above my expectations, this place clearly deserves the 5 stars. Next time: fried fish or "poison frit".

So I decided to try this place as I was craving Haitian food. I decided to try the white rice and…read morebeans and the large chicken Paté . It was good. When I say this patty is huge it takes up my whole hand and took two days to finish. It's so flavorful with a nice crust and has egg, veggies ,and chicken. You can also opt to make it vegetarian with just vegetables and eggs and select no meat option. I don't add the hotdogs to mine . I will say the only thing I had my reservations about was when I tried to call and ask about certain foods I was hung up on . I understand that some of the employees don't speak great English which isn't a bad thing I just wanted to see if some of the food had pork or something in it cause I don't eat pork or beef. But when I asked in person they were helpful so I would wait in person to ask about the food if you have food allergies or a specific diet . I ordered through DoorDash but when I got there my order was not ready . The employees are very nice and knowledge and are kind. I also tried the passion fruit drink it's so good . It was pretty sweet but good. I paid &14 in total for my order. I would order ahead just in case .

Very disappointing, especially for my first time eating here. I was really looking forward to it,…read morebut the food and presentation were far below expectations. Not okay and definitely not the experience I expected. What your thoughts on this?
