Won Moo Hapkido - Mr. Robert helping to correct Jayce's form - Martial Arts Near Me - Granada Hills, California

Our two daughters started going to Hapkido class with Mr. Robert almost a month ago; they both love the class and we love the outcome so far; it's hard for me to believe right after school they sit down on their own to finish their homework quick so we can make it to the class, doing homework on a timely manner was always a problem for us, and I see in such a short time this problem is fading away. Thanks Master Robert read more

Got his yellow belt. My son learned to listen and follow instructions, at his very young age, by practicing and doing his martial arts with classmates. If you like material arts come here it is good to learn self defense. All the students focus and try there best what they learn.

This studio rocks! Robert's easy going approach with discipline works well with the students. My son has been going for almost six years and he is pretty tough, learning all of the moves that you would see on tv and in movies. My youngest son just turned 6 and we started him off too. I recommend this place if you want your kids to be top notch martial artists. No glitz, no glam just 100% action read more

Couldn't be happier with the instructors, the results, the cleanliness and most importantly- the balance between discipline, encouragement & praise. Both my sons receive top of the line instruction and once my daughter is old enough, she will start taking lessons here as well. Completely trustworthy and reliable, I have found that it is a rare studio that tests only on ability rather then on a calendar.-(which basicly means that they will not rank up your kids belt just to collect the fee, they have to earn it with ability so you have no worry that they could have false confidence.) I recommend Won Moo on a regular basis due to how proud I am of my sons progress and the high level of service we have received for the last 6 years & continue to enjoy. -Thank you Robert & Master Lee, we are very, very happy! read more

Excellent studio, Mr. Robert is a great teacher.

My son has been attending for about a month. Robert is great! We knew him from before as he would give class at my son's school and now he moved to Robert's school. Robert is very good with all students. Not only does he teaches karate, but self confidence, discipline, and community values. I like how he gives responsibilities to the older/advanced students such as teaching the younger ones basics. The way he treats and relates to students is great! My son is happy and likes attending. I would highly recommend this school to anybody! read more

I learned a more than a fair amount from Grandmaster and I am pleased to see the school and system continuing to flourish

Mr. Robert has helped my son in so many ways that its hard to put into words. My son was diagnosed with tick like behavior and kept having uncontrolled twitches and movements in his hands, face, and legs. Instead of putting him on medication we decided to enroll him in a sport. He was already taking Hapkido at his preschool twice a week by Mr. Robert. We decided to start taking him to the studio daily after school so he could get out more of his limitless energy. After he went to Hapkido everyday after school for a few months consistently the ticks gradually got less frequent and severe. Now its almost been one full year that hes been going to the studio and I never see him twitching. He also helped with discipline when my son had problems in school. Its like Mr Robert has preformed a miracle with my son Darion. I'm so grateful for Mr. Robert's kind and caring nature. We feel like a part of his Hapkido family whenever we go to the studio. read more

My daughter has been going here for the last year or so. Robert is a great guy, extremely patient with kids, and holds a great balance of pushing the kids for discipline and keeping it enjoyable so the kids still have fun. My daughter has learned a ton about Hapkido, but more importantly learned to listen to people, respect your peers, and show discipline in learning. I will keep my daughter enrolled as long as possible, and enroll my youngest as soon as she is old enough. read more
