You name it and they get it everytime spring rolls around. This past Sunday, I decided to see Dr. WeiPei for some relief for my poor babies. lol. They are 10 and 11. My son goes first. He was nervous but willing to try. Four needles on your upper back and two close to your elbow area. He felt better after the session started. My daughter on the other hand said it hurt. But she is rather cry wolf kind of kid. lol. She also felt better right afterwards. I got my knees and wrist done. Feels great now. No pains at all. Sunday night I went to sleep like a baby. Kids were not all stuffed-up and were sound asleep. They woke-up with less symptoms of allergies. I am still disbelieve that it really works. I went from having to give them AllergraD and putting them on an inhaler when they have their allergy attacks to barely any medication and no inhaler. Kids feel better and I feel great. Who would have every thought acupuncture for allergies? lol. Still amazed myself.

Steroid creams, allergy shots, and the only thing that really helps is acupuncture and holistic medicine! After almost a month of weekly treatments I started seeing a difference. She informed me of a veterans program being offered by Won institute, I called and set up an appointment, that's when I met Tori. She's a graduate student with an empathy and concern for her patients that prepares her patients for the treatments with minimal stress. I'm not a person that enjoys needles ( bad childhood experiences) yet as I sat for my first visit and she inserted the 20+ needles she explained and checked for discomfort, adjusted if needed, the first visit was a true revelation of the effectiveness of this course of action. When I arrived I could barely walk a hundred feet with out stopping due to pain, standing for more than 4-5 minutes was out of the question. The first visit gave a rush of energy and I was able to walk to my car in comfort for the first time in 3 months! After 8 treatments I'm pain free, By the way, not a needle is applied until the student confers with her teacher, develops and maps out the plan. The student maps and marks the points of entry, the teacher reviews the points, adjusts or approves then the needles begin. If at any point there's any discomfort the needles are adjusted or removed. Won institute is a godsend to anyone who is unable to get relief thru "traditional medicine or therapy " Don't expect miracles but don't be surprised when they occur. THANK YOU ( Tori) ALL

We were getting eye contact from him after just a few sessions. The eye contact was meaningful - we "felt" him actually looking at us; it was like he finally knew that we were in the room with him and that we loved him. We have been with Rose for about a year now. During the spring and early summer, she kept saying that there was something wrong with my son's jaw. We started seeing a new speech therapist in July. The new speech therapist quickly diagnosed the problem: a weak jaw. Between Rose and the new speech therapist, my son went from barely being able to say a few words (single understandable words - such as apple) in June to talking in 3-4 word phrases (phrases that other people can understand) by the end of October. If you have an autistic child, I strongly encourage you to consider weekly sessions with Rose.

If your child is autistic, definitely consider Rosemary. First, early intervention therapy achieved minimal eye contact with my son. After about three sessions with Rose, my husband and I received 5-10 seconds of meaningful eye contact from our son. Being able to focus and look at us while we spoke for more than a second was a big accomplishment. Second, Rosemary knew that my son had jaw issues. Once we found an excellent private speech therapist, we learned that my son's jaw was weak (so Rosemary was proven correct). His tongue was doing all the work, so word pronunciation was near impossible. The speech therapist commenced strengthening exercises and Rosemary supported this by working on areas that affected him mouth. Within two weeks, words started pouring out of his mouth. He is improving faster than anyone anticipated; I firmly believe it is the combination of excellent therapy (OT, speech, and ABA) with Rosemary one time per week. Side Note: my husband said that if I stopped cranio sacral therapy for our son that he would divorce me. We were never the type of people that would believe that this type of therapy would make a difference....but our son's clear and convincing results speak for themselves.

Pain that would make it hurt to brush my hair in the morning and my teeth at night. Pain that left me desperately seeking help. I saw orthopedists and nurses. Rheumatologists and PTs. I sat in doctor after doctor's office, explaining my pain to people that didn't care. Out of all these quacks, Dani was the only genuine professional out of the bunch. I knew nothing about acupuncture- this was not a problem. Dani patiently explained each step of the process, regularly checking in with me to make sure I was okay. He wanted to hear about my problems. He wanted to offer advice. But most importantly, he wanted to help me find a resolution- and that kind of sincerity is something you will not find from other doctors. You can go to these big, fancy offices and wait 3 months to see a doctor that will give you all of 2 minutes. Or you could just go to Healing Your Way where Danny will listen to you, comfort you, and genuinely try to help you. I've lost a lot of faith in the medical world- but Danny reminded me that there are still good people out there if you're willing to look.
