Dr. Liu is a very decent and professional doctor who has been working in this field for 20+ years, about 12 of which was spent in China where the authentic acupuncture treatment rooted in. He is very knowledgeable about the right treatment in acupuncture. The first time I took the treatment there for a shoulder pain, he gave me acupuncture followed by sucking cups. When I left the office, my shoulder feels like a new one! So I started continuous treatment there since then. I later learned that his acupuncture does not just cure pain, but also help with sleeping difficulties, even pollen allergy! I slept better when he gave me a few needles treatment on my head! This is really amazing acupuncture office. He is very busy and I feel lucky that I can find a Chinese doctor who really understand what a real acupuncture is. Melody is magical! I…read morewas skeptical and nervous trying something new but I was even more desperate for relief. I was struggling with a lot; sleeplessness, joint pain, lifelong trauma, but what lead me to make an appointment was a rash that seemed to appear out of nowhere were around my eyes that was painful and very noticeable. I struggled for about 6 months, bought so so many creams and soaps and by the time I made an appointment with Six Fishes I was traveling to and from work with 4 creams in my backpack and applying through the day for relief. I went to a dermatologist and they said it was something I'd probably never get to go away and recommended 5 month treatment of antibiotics.. ONE SESSION WITH MELODY AND 90% OF THE RASH I HAD FOR 6 MONTHS WENT AWAY (before I even started herbal medicine). After one session I slept through the night for the first time in my entire life I could not believe it, I still can't believe it. My first session was scary for me, opening my heart and personal space for someone to enter it and help me was vulnerable but Melody helped, we laughed and she has a big personality with lots of wisdom. I had a pain in my upper left abdomen that came and went and it was relieved during that acupuncture session. My breathing is vastly improved (especially noticeable after running or while singing); my periods are far less painful; my circulation to my hands and feet vastly improved for about a week afterwards -- I do self-massage to help it along; and the muscles in my stomach are no longer working so hard to stabilize my torso. I think I had an unusually positive initial response. I did some follow-up appointments, which were still helpful, but certainly not as transformative as that first one. But because the acupuncture got my body feeling so much better, I noticed that dairy was really impacting my digestion. Also, Melody showed me several daily self-massages. By doing self-massage and cutting out dairy, my belly feels much, much, better than it used to. Acupuncture is worth a try, and Melody is very kind and knowledgeable. Spring Allergies is the worst season for most people. My kids are in the worst category. Swollen…read moreeyes, stuffy-runny nose, coughs and sneezy and itchy eyes. You name it and they get it everytime spring rolls around. This past Sunday, I decided to see Dr. WeiPei for some relief for my poor babies. lol. They are 10 and 11. My son goes first. He was nervous but willing to try. Four needles on your upper back and two close to your elbow area. He felt better after the session started. My daughter on the other hand said it hurt. But she is rather cry wolf kind of kid. lol. She also felt better right afterwards. I got my knees and wrist done. Feels great now. No pains at all. Sunday night I went to sleep like a baby. Kids were not all stuffed-up and were sound asleep. They woke-up with less symptoms of allergies. I am still disbelieve that it really works. I went from having to give them AllergraD and putting them on an inhaler when they have their allergy attacks to barely any medication and no inhaler. Kids feel better and I feel great.
