For years my wife had various levels of neck, knee and lower back pain and movement limitations. Her neck had been a source of trouble for 20 years. After trying all kinds of modalities to help her move her neck better, it was Lynn who was able to resolve this issue. My wife first went to her for a lower back issue. She was a swimmer in college but had not been able to do a flip turn for a year. Not good! She'll never forget when Lynn "found the right spot". She knew instantly something was changing. The next day she went swimming and did a flip turn, then flipped again and hasn't stopped flipping since. So, we both know where to turn when our bodies are in pain and/or not moving right. I struggle with ADD and tend to have a very 'noisy' brain even in normal circumstances. Now, with the current stress and anxiety related to COVID-19, I've had increased difficultly focusing on tasks, both professional and personal. As Lance led our group through some basics of meditation (being still, at ease and aware), I absolutely felt my mind and body calm down, which was awesome! His way of leading and encouraging us through the process was easy to understand, even to a first-timer like myself. I absolutely plan to incorporate this technique into my daily routine, and hope that my company might provide additional sessions to us in the future so I can learn more. Thank you, Lance!

At the time, I was struggling with worsening panic attacks and was taking Cymbalta and Zoloft, but I didn't feel like I was thriving. My mother had been referred to Ian Kennedy by a friend, and after having a positive experience, she asked whether she could bring me in as well. He was open to working with me, and I decided to give his approach a chance. For me, exploring a different approach was meaningful. I eventually made changes to my treatment with appropriate guidance, and I also became more willing to make changes to my diet and lifestyle as another way of supporting my well-being. I remember being surprised by some of the improvements I personally experienced, including changes I noticed in my blood sugar. Looking back, I'm grateful that I was willing to try something different during a challenging chapter of my life. That experience became one part of a much longer journey of growth and discovering what I was capable of. Today, I am a published children's book author. My book, Knowledge Crystals, has received a five-star rating, and becoming a published author is something I'm very proud of. I can't say True Wellness is responsible for where I am today, but I can say that my experience there was meaningful to me and helped me think differently about my well-being at a time when I really needed a new perspective. My experience is personal and may not be the same for everyone. If someone is considering changing medications or treatment, I strongly encourage them to speak with a qualified mental health professional or doctor, and to make medication decisions with appropriate medical guidance. I'm grateful for the people who helped me along the way and for how far I've come since 2013.
