I've seen Liz on and off for several years for shiatsu massage which actually has significantly helped with my asthma. Now that I have begun my nursing career, I find shiatsu to be a great addition to help avoid muscle injury and fatigue. Liz is also a licensed physical therapist and incorporates her training and experience in PT into her shiatsu practice. Liz is down-to-earth and friendly and happy to chat with you during your session or respect your preference for silence. She doesn't use any offensive, scented oils or lotions in her practice and you get to keep your clothes on! She makes sure to check in with you to ask about pain throughout the treatment. Her fee is very reasonable in my opinion - $90 for one hour. You pay Liz directly for scheduling and payment so there is no having to deal with the Becoming Center as a middle-man.
