Very little notice in having to move entire apartment rooms just as school was getting out. Rent raised for "renovations" which included very uncomfortable couches, the removing of carpet, and grimy cabinets which made the whole apartment feel uncomfortable and tacky. Harsh parking enforcement. Zero incentive or help in having to move multiple times for WC's renovations. The leasing office is not helpful and manager will not work with you. Been misinformed on multiple occasions by staff. They throw activities and parties with absurd budgets and then demand you every dollar. They take advantage of students which is EXTREMELY frustrating and inappropriate. I recommend if money is not a problem for you and you want to be close to UVU or train station. If I could rate this place lower I would, it's a complete scam. I've only stayed here as a guest and every single time it has been a complete inconvenience. Anytime you stay as a guest make sure you complete your list of chores before going to sleep. I've been present for a room check where 3 people barge into your apartment without knocking. Also, You better not make one mistake with guest parking or they charge you 75 dollars, although they refuse to specify the times you can park in certain places. Even when you do the parking pass correctly they still charge you to park! Mind you it's mostly college students living here and they wanna pry you of every nickel and dime you have. Anytime I've talked to anyone about an issue here they act like I'm speaking a different language. The person I visit is fed up with the dynamic here and plans on moving away after this semester and I'll plan on staying far away. I actually met his old accountant the other day, for WX, and she even claimed that he is "Emotionless and heartless." The office people pretty much just lie straight to your face and the rates they have posted on their website are about $250 less than what it actually is. We found out that when the individual she found to buy her contract calls the leasing office, they offer the person a promotion to buy a new contract rather than buy her contract! Update: after they claimed my review was "fake" which it was absolutely NOT! When I lived there 9 years ago, they found a can of beer in our garbage. Not only was I evicted (even though I DO NOT drink, and don't condone it), it was a roommate that they had paired me with--I didn't even know the guy--AND I was out of town when apparently they had a small get together (I believe everyone was above the age of 21, but again I didn't really know those guys). Anyway, I was blamed for the deal. They threw me out. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to pay the $100 alcohol fine. Again, I DONT DRINK! Meanwhile, apparently they had been charging "interest" on that $100 dollar fine I refused to pay. Almost 7 years later they took it to court. And somehow won the suit because I didn't even know there was a hearing going on in Utah, because then, nearly a decade later, I was working in Finance overseas. When you work in finance FINRA and your financial organization regularly checks your credit reports/garnishments. I got a call from the compliance department saying that $3500 was going to be garnished from my wages and because I didn't report it, I was in danger of termination and losing my financial licenses! So I had to cough up the $3500 to avoid garnishment that I was only made aware of the week I lost a case I was never notified was happening--ALL OVER 1 stupid beer can that a guy they paired me up with as a roommate almost a decade ago. These people are EVIL. In my previous review I said "run, don't walk!" I'll now update that to "if you want to live in a place that will, for no fault of your own, nearly ruin a career it took you almost a decade to build--go ahead." They'll probably come back and say this is "fake" or find some reason to blame me. Because they DONT know how to do business! The first month or so was pretty good, but after that it's pretty crappy. Most of the pictures online are enhanced to make it look colorful and pretty... it's not. They handed me the wrong key and I was getting charged for someone else using the soda machine. When I told them they gave me back the right key, but never refunded my money. Note: They used the soda machine A LOT, this wasn't just a couple dollars. The rooms are also nowhere near as nice as they make them look in the photos. They also brag about having a TV that has a good bit of channels, but in reality they have maybe one mediocre sports channel, and the rest are all useless. Honest review: terrible place to live, READ CONTRACT My son lived in this apartment complex. They lure you in with incentives, Xbox for signing lease, pool etc. Then everything breaks at the facility. Pool is down for months, no drop in rent. They do cleaning inspections, and always find something wrong to charge you, and don't say anything while they are there. When you question it, they say it wasn't questioned at time of inspection. They are over priced, fee you for everything, hard to work with, a complete rip off. Managers never return your calls, they won't answer your questions or work with you. You dont have enough people that are interested in your apartment complex because you still had 15-16 individuals that were trying to sell their contracts privately when we were trying to sell Sidneys. If you had so many people that were interested then Sidneys would have gone a whole lot faster. And the only reason that Sidneys sold was because we paid 2 months free-paid the deposit- parking pass and all the transfer fees. Your so full of shit. We marketed it like crazy to get rid of it. The apartments are nice and have lots of amenities. Here are the HUGE reasons I'm giving 1 star (out of a hope it lowers their rating and can save some people the hassle of signing new contracts to them: 1. Misleading tour - I was shown a spacious room when taking a tour of the apartment. I remember thinking "it's steep, but I'm willing to pay $615 for this place". When I was assigned a room and finally got to my apartment, it was literally like half of the size of the one I was shown. When I was trying to sell the contract, I asked if they could allow people to see the room but they said they could only show the model rooms (that they showed me) but that they did not have my size room. THERE IS NO INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ACCURATE ROOM PREVIEWS. 2. Overpriced- like I said, I already thought the price was steep. To top that, the room was not worth $535 a month. Let alone an extra $78 for utilities. 3. Incredibly difficult to sell contract- selling my contract was a nightmare. They have very unreasonable policies that make it a miserable process. They will not show people your room if you ask them to. If you find someone to take your place, they will make them pay the market rate (which is constantly changing) for me, it was $50 more a month than what I was paying. I had to pay portion of the remaining contract to discount the remaining contract to get someone even interested to buy it. I budgeted $300 off the remaining months and this hidden information added $50 more per month. Don't live here unless your parents are paying for your rent and don't care to keep paying. Don't sign a new lease with them, buy them from desperate people trying to sell them instead. I was looking forward to a good experience but the deception and lack of communication spoiled the entire experience. Regret having signed a new contract with them. read more

He should of at least received a nasty fine or been evicted. He has since reinstated his lease and moved to a private room with zero consequences. They do a monthly cleaning check, which is vary reasonable considering they rent mostly to college age kids and damage is inevitable. However, that being said, last month my bathroom failed the cleaning check where it had previously passed in the same condition it was in. When I spent about an hour and a half scrubbing with bleach and cleaning things out as best I could, they failed me again. The bathroom was the cleanest it had been in my entire time staying there. They are also in the slimy habit of double dipping off their tenants. When I first moved in I purchased my lease from a previous resident, I was to move in in the middle of the month, however; they wanted me to pay rent for the whole month. I called the previous tenant to see if he wanted to split rent since he'd be living there for the first half and I the second half. Upon calling him I found out that they told him to pay for the full month's rent. They wanted both of us to pay rent for the full month even though we were only spending half the month their and didn't communicate with either. The place is less than savory, the management doesn't act on things that don't immediately concern them, they're more interested in getting good reviews than they are providing quality housing and support ( even if those reviews are forged by those who want out), and (like many corporations) are much more interested in making money than anything else. Have had non stop issues with them. Recently lost my key to enter the building/my apartment, went in to find out it would cost me $50 upfront for a new one, I guess it wouldn't be to much of a issue if my bank wasn't at $0, them refusing to let me put that $50 fee towards next months rent made things just that much more complicated. Now I have to stand outside my building praying someone is able to let me in and praying my roommates didn't lock the door on me. Ig that wouldn't be too big of an issue besides me working night shifts meaning I get home around 2am when absolutely no one is awake to let me in my building and getting locked out my apartment while my roommates sleep is a plus. It costs another $50 to have someone come let you into your apartment and when you struggle enough with money that $50 does quite a toll on your bank, so now I spend most my nights sitting in the hallway waiting for my roommates to wake up so I can rush inside and sleep a few hours before heading back to work to repeat everything. Most parking is taken up by companies and so you end up having to park far away since all spots are for companies near the doors. No 24 hour visitor parking either. There is ALWAYS resident parking and ALWAYS visitor parking. Very few complexes around here can say that. The rooms are large, the appliances look and feel new, and there's just a generally good atmosphere. This place seemed like a great place to start our son off in the world. Lots of great amenities, lots of social opportunities, etc. But once you move in, everything changes. Constant cleaning checks - they charge you cleaning fees, even when everything is cleaned. They go through your stuff if you're not home. The RAs are constantly in your business. If you need to leave before your contract is up, they charge you a ton of random fees to transfer your contract to someone else. They make the entire process very difficult and very expensive. They nickel and dime you, and even when you've moved out and cleaned every inch of the apartment, they'll charge you a cleaning fee for the CURRENT roommates dirtying the oven and microwave and claim you're the sole responsible party. Oh and they'll only inspect and bill you a month AFTER you've moved out, but claim they did the inspection TWO DAYS AFTER MOVE OUT when we requested a walkthrough the day we turned over the keys, but the girl in the office huffed and rolled her eyes and said "it'll be done tomorrow" (yeah, we were moving out of STATE the following day, so we couldn't be there to make sure they did their job. But that was our mistake) when we called to discuss WHY we were being charged, we requested management and not the kids in front. Apparently there's no manager??? So the current tenants get to live in a filthy apartment while we pay to get it cleaned for them while not even living in the same state because they refused to clean through the ENTIRE lease duration and still had it dirty when they did our move out inspection. Also, someone put items in the bathroom, so instead of asking who it belonged to, they just charged us. We asked about them and all we were told was "the only thing you can do is get in contact with your roommates and tell them to confess that it's theirs and we won't charge you" lady... what part of "have not lived there in a month" do you not understand? So yeah. We get to pay for the other tenants belongings as well. In addition to this- upon initial move in, the room had TONS of items left from the previous tenant and was FILTHY. We immediately went to the office to get it fixed. Their response? "Umm yeaaahh sooo we don't really clean after...sooo you're gonna have to throw out those items and clean it yourself." UPDATE: I've just visited their yelp page for the first time since I posted this, and there are 70 "non-recommended" reviews. If you click to read them a ton of them are one star and recent. Not sure how or why a HUGE majority of reviews for this place are being hid, but they are. My first review was reported by Wolverine Crossing because they didn't like how I quoted the manager and the horrible things he would say while I was a resident here. So, I'm going to reword some things, and just provide a list of reasons not to live here. 1. You cannot get out of your contract once you sign it, unless you sell it to some other person. This is nearly impossible to do, I've never personally seen it done even though I've known over 10 people who have tried and failed to sell it. They will try to sell a different contract to anyone you bring in to buy yours- they even admit it on their website. 2. They will not get involved with any roommate disputes. I personally lived with someone who was not only breaking rules, but laws, and doing extremely sketchy things that made everyone in the apartment uncomfortable, but they refused to help. Even with air tight evidence. 3. They will make you move apartments upwards of 2-3 times if you happen to be living there when they do renovations. 4. The office does nothing about sexual harassment, even when it's coming from their own employees. 5. The rent is much more expensive than most of the surrounding complexes, and the 2 good amenities are not worth it at all. Yeah the pool and gym are pretty cool, but other complexes have better rooms, better amenities, and you'll pay a fraction of the price. 6. While living there one of my roommates kept having her packages mysteriously disappear, and when she asked the office about it the manager refused to work with her, despite having evidence that the office staff had put in fake reports saying that she had picked the mail up herself, despite her being out of the country at the time. 7. I've been to the office dozens of times trying to get information on various things, and not once have I ever been helped effectively. The office staff watches Netflix all day and doesn't seem to know anything about how anything is run. 8. If you request to room with a certain person, most times your request will be denied and you'll be placed with random people. 9. The washers and dryers don't work, despite having so many in each building. 10. I lived there for over a year, and it's one of my biggest regrets. Please, do not live here, do not send your children to live here, and do not trust anything they say. I had a great experience the first two months I was living at Wolverine crossing. But as soon as all of the new tenants moved in it quickly went down hill. The girl who moved into my room had a cat. Which I'm allergic to cats and Wolverine Crossing didn't even ask if I was ok with having a cat in the apartment or even the room I would be sleeping in. And they didn't even know that she had a cat to begin with and she had already been living there and was just transferring into a different room. And it wasn't even registered as an ESA or Special Needs animal. Even though in the lease at if you are to have an animal it MUST be registered. And their solution to this problem was to have ME move into a completely different apartment even though I had been living in the apartment for 3 months. And this girl was the problem and needed to be moved. Another solution was to have ME, and 18 year old girl. Move into a shared room with a transgender woman. There is no way in hell I would feel comfortable with that. So we had the girl get rid of her cat. But she still kept all the food and toys that still had cat hair/dander on them, in the room which made it hard for me to sleep. 2 of the girls living in my apartment somehow got possession of alcohol and they brought it into the apartment and just kept in the fridge not even trying to hide it from the ohters who lived in the apartment. All of the girls living in the apartment were under 21. So one of their parents or friends must have gotten the alcohol for them. There are multiply signs on the property that say "Please keep our property drug and alcohol free" And it even says on the lease that you are not allowed to have alcohol in the apartment. All wolverine crossing did was post a notice on our door. They didn't fine these girls for breaking rule after rule. They just continued to let them live there. Wolverine Crossing has terrible management and I did not feel comfortable or safe living there the last month. read more

I have lived at Wolverine Crossing for almost 1.5 years and I am severely disappointed and pissed off. If you are considering signing a lease or have already signed a lease for this property I would recommend trying to cancel it. The infrastructure of the rooms has not been updated since the buildings were constructed. every bit of technology (A.C. TV, fridge, dishwasher, oven) and even furniture has not been updated since 2004. I was having an issue with my A.C unit not working back in January and the "maintenance team" tried to fix it 3 total times. They put my own trash in the A.C. unit at one notable time to stop a rattle I can only assume. It was only when I got in contact with the Property Manager about the trash that the AC was finally fixed. To sum up this section, the Maintenance team is not qualified for their job at this location, which is strange because I pay them $480 a month for a shared room. I have also put many maintenance requests to have the treadmills in the gym fixed. It has been 7 months and there has been no change in them. The RAs could not give less of a **** about what you have to say or your concerns. The "job" they have there is a glorified high school clique but instead, they are getting paid to be rude and obnoxious. Every experience I've had with the RAs (besides Houston) has been awful. I forget the name of the man but I had a package that wouldn't fit in the lockers in the mailroom so they had it behind the leasing office "counter" the box was clearly labeled REDBUBBLE and had my name in multiple locations however he could not find the package. He then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that it had been delivered and to check back tomorrow. However, I had confirmation from USPS and from their email that it arrived. I finally got the package when someone who wasn't a complete illiterate douchebag found my package in literally 30 seconds. How can a property managing company hire a dozen teenagers with the IQ of a McChicken to run their leasing office? It blows my mind. And just recently they hired a new crew of RAs and they are just about the same. Keep in mind this is student housing and they have cleaning checks. Cleaning checks are every 3rd Saturday when they come in and check to see if your room is clean. Up until last month, my apartment has passed with flying colors and never had an issue. We keep our apartment clean. But this new group of RAs failed every single person in our apartment. Keep in mind I was out of town from May 19th to May 28th and cleaning checks were done on the 21st. There is no way I Could've cleaned the apartment yet I was still charged $71 dollars after the RAs came in again the following Monday at 4 pm and failed us once again. The Maintenance team was called to "clean" the areas that were failed and I **** you not, they were in there for 5 minutes and did not do ANYTHING. It looked the exact same as it did when my roommate worked his butt off to get that bathroom spotless. My roommate has been trying to contact the accounting branch to contest this $71 charge but they have been ignoring his emails. We have pictures of before the RA's came back on Monday to do rechecks If they cannot point out in a big red circle where the areas are dirty then we need to sit down and work this out. Either way, we need to sit down and understand what is now expected of us given this new "regime" change for the property. At the least let these RAs come back into our apartment and walk through what they expect and how they want it done. Again if you have signed a lease or are thinking of signing, DO NOT!!!! You may as well bend over and have them screw ya because they're going to screw you over either way so get it out of the way early. I am beyond disappointed and pissed off and I expect to be contacted SOON to resolve many of the issues that are happening here. read more

Would not recommend living here at all I've had the worst experience it's ran by a bunch of kids that have no idea what they are doing. There are mouse traps under all the beds and all over my apartment and mouse poop when I moved apartments. Not even there we found mushrooms growing in the hall and they didn't do anything. I've also had multiple times where RA and the office would walk in to my apartment with no reason or warning with no one being home. The washer and dryers are also DISGUSTING they have mold and smell so bad and you have to dry your clothes multiples times and I've had to ring out my clothes. They also will do anything to get money from you. read more

I'm not usually to reviews online But you know what ??? If I could give this place zero I defiantly will give 0 star ... They just try to find 1000 way to charge your money ...The office people don't know how to work ..always ask you to move to other room ..reason is no reason They just give you a other room key told you...You should move ... If you return the key to the office ...They may lost the key ...(They lose my key for twice and ask me to pay for it ) Bull Sh#t They have the security camera...but they never use it ...Just for look ? I lose my $ 10000 clothing at the G building laundry ...They didn't say anything I cry for ask the office help me found out who steal my clothing? Ask please help me use the security camera...but they do nothing NOTHING!!! I'm a international student ...this the awfully place I never been ... One more things is I lived here for three years ...They ask me to move to other Buiding or room for 4 times ...Do you have any idea for international student How hard to move ?? RUN-A-WAY. My son signed a 1yr lease. He has paid $412/mo every month. He moved out of the apartment 6 months into the lease and has still paid every month. When he moved out he made sure that WC checked him out of the apartment. However, THEY ARE STILL HOLDING THE DEPOSIT - six more months - in case there is any damage. Umm exsqueeze me? You mean any potential damage his former roommates may cause in the six months he has been gone - after you (WC) already verified no damage? He is held accountable for that? Sounds like it may be time to retain a lawyer... Also he has been trying to sell his contract, but WC requires that IF he is successful in selling the contract the person buying it will have to pay the now higher rental rate WC now charges. That's like trying to sell a used car and requiring that you only sell the used car at a current year's new model's MSRP. These guys are total crooks. Flee! Flee! Flee! read more
