Yes its a little pricy, yes there are some strange fees. But the amenities, perks, and complex hosted parties and activities are super great, and the grounds are well kept. If you have good roommates then I think you will love it here. One of the best places to live in Provo/Orem for social people. read more

It's so loud and so hot don't live here it smells and it's so loud every night and it's a scam

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! They are genuinely just going to try to get as much money from you as they can. I never interacted with anyone even remotely kind or understanding on the phone or at the front desk while I lived here. You might think rent it acceptable but it will end up going up by 200 dollars. They find any reason to charge you. They are not reliable and DO NOT CARE. Nothing here is worth it. If I read more

I did write a review the other day. But I have to add these details. Bart is one of the rudest people I have ever met. He doesn't care about the people, just the money for himself. I actually met his old accountant the other day, for WX, and she even claimed that he is "Emotionless and heartless." Shame that you are making such a terrible impact that your old employees are still talking bad about you. The office people pretty much just lie straight to your face and the rates they have posted on their website are about $250 less than what it actually is. There WILL be mold in your apartment and you will be walked in on by the maintenance team. In the end. Management sucks, way too expensive, half of the amenities don't work and they don't care about you. You're just a price tag to them. They claim they want to sell as many apartments as they can, but it won't happen with Bart as their manager. read more

If I could rate this place lower I would, it's a complete scam. I've only stayed here as a guest and every single time it has been a complete inconvenience. Anytime you stay as a guest make sure you complete your list of chores before going to sleep. I've been present for a room check where 3 people barge into your apartment without knocking. Also, You better not make one mistake with guest parking or they charge you 75 dollars, although they refuse to specify the times you can park in certain places. Even when you do the parking pass correctly they still charge you to park! Mind you it's mostly college students living here and they wanna pry you of every nickel and dime you have. Anytime I've talked to anyone about an issue here they act like I'm speaking a different language. The person I visit is fed up with the dynamic here and plans on moving away after this semester and I'll plan on staying far away. This place will rob you of your money and try to make it up to you with a pickleball court. read more

Update: after they claimed my review was "fake" which it was absolutely NOT! When I lived there 9 years ago, they found a can of beer in our garbage. Not only was I evicted (even though I DO NOT drink, and don't condone it), it was a roommate that they had paired me with--I didn't even know the guy--AND I was out of town when apparently they had a small get together (I believe everyone was above the age of 21, but again I didn't really know those guys). Anyway, I was blamed for the deal. They threw me out. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to pay the $100 alcohol fine. Again, I DONT DRINK! Meanwhile, apparently they had been charging "interest" on that $100 dollar fine I refused to pay. Almost 7 years later they took it to court. And somehow won the suit because I didn't even know there was a hearing going on in Utah, because then, nearly a decade later, I was working in Finance overseas. When you work in finance FINRA and your financial organization regularly checks your credit reports/garnishments. I got a call from the compliance department saying that $3500 was going to be garnished from my wages and because I didn't report it, I was in danger of termination and losing my financial licenses! So I had to cough up the $3500 to avoid garnishment that I was only made aware of the week I lost a case I was never notified was happening--ALL OVER 1 stupid beer can that a guy they paired me up with as a roommate almost a decade ago. These people are EVIL. In my previous review I said "run, don't walk!" I'll now update that to "if you want to live in a place that will, for no fault of your own, nearly ruin a career it took you almost a decade to build--go ahead." They'll probably come back and say this is "fake" or find some reason to blame me. Because they DONT know how to do business! When someone writes a bad review of my business I leave my personal contact number and try to resolve the matter, to get them to change their review. THESE PEOPLE GO TO WAR.... And try to ruin your *perfect* credit, your name, your family's livelihood, and everything you've worked for with YEARS of integrity. Dear God, you people are truly EVIL in every since of the word. And to PROVE this isn't a fake review. I found a picture I took from my apartment window of the sunrise one morning living there. You can clearly see I lived there....So this is NOT fake. Only live here if you want your life, good name, and everything you've worked for decades down the road to be smeared! read more

I have a daughter trying to sell her contract. We found out that when the individual she found to buy her contract calls the leasing office, they offer the person a promotion to buy a new contract rather than buy her contract! Honest review: terrible place to live, READ CONTRACT My son lived in this apartment complex. They lure you in with incentives, Xbox for signing lease, pool etc. Then everything breaks at the facility. Pool is down for months, no drop in rent. They do cleaning inspections, and always find something wrong to charge you, and don't say anything while they are there. When you question it, they say it wasn't questioned at time of inspection. They are over priced, fee you for everything, hard to work with, a complete rip off. Managers never return your calls, they won't answer your questions or work with you. Then when you try to leave, fee after fee, when lease transfer it does NOT Include any of the perks they gave you on move in. Talked with Joshua in the office today, very rude and sassy. He would not let me talk to the manager in the office Holley. READ YOUR CONTRACT, that should tell you NOT TO LIVE IN THIS PLACE. Many other great places to live. The first month or so was pretty good, but after that it's pretty crappy. Most of the pictures online are enhanced to make it look colorful and pretty... it's not. They handed me the wrong key and I was getting charged for someone else using the soda machine. When I told them they gave me back the right key, but never refunded my money. Note: They used the soda machine A LOT, this wasn't just a couple dollars. The rooms are also nowhere near as nice as they make them look in the photos. They also brag about having a TV that has a good bit of channels, but in reality they have maybe one mediocre sports channel, and the rest are all useless. Overall not a good place to live, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. read more

The apartments are nice and have lots of amenities. Here are the HUGE reasons I'm giving 1 star (out of a hope it lowers their rating and can save some people the hassle of signing new contracts to them: 1. Misleading tour - I was shown a spacious room when taking a tour of the apartment. I remember thinking "it's steep, but I'm willing to pay $615 for this place". When I was assigned a room and finally got to my apartment, it was literally like half of the size of the one I was shown. When I was trying to sell the contract, I asked if they could allow people to see the room but they said they could only show the model rooms (that they showed me) but that they did not have my size room. THERE IS NO INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ACCURATE ROOM PREVIEWS. 2. Overpriced- like I said, I already thought the price was steep. To top that, the room was not worth $535 a month. Let alone an extra $78 for utilities. 3. Incredibly difficult to sell contract- selling my contract was a nightmare. They have very unreasonable policies that make it a miserable process. They will not show people your room if you ask them to. If you find someone to take your place, they will make them pay the market rate (which is constantly changing) for me, it was $50 more a month than what I was paying. I had to pay portion of the remaining contract to discount the remaining contract to get someone even interested to buy it. I budgeted $300 off the remaining months and this hidden information added $50 more per month. Don't live here unless your parents are paying for your rent and don't care to keep paying. Don't sign a new lease with them, buy them from desperate people trying to sell them instead. I was looking forward to a good experience but the deception and lack of communication spoiled the entire experience. Regret having signed a new contract with them. read more

Nice try- Bart. You dont have enough people that are interested in your apartment complex because you still had 15-16 individuals that were trying to sell their contracts privately when we were trying to sell Sidneys. If you had so many people that were interested then Sidneys would have gone a whole lot faster. And the only reason that Sidneys sold was because we paid 2 months free-paid the deposit- parking pass and all the transfer fees. Your so full of shit. We marketed it like crazy to get rid of it. And you could have kicked out the other roommates but you chose to keep them and told me that a judge would laugh at you for kicking them out because they broke the contract over some silly little underage drinking. read more

PLEASE BE WARY WHEN READING EXTREMELY OR POSITIVE REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE. The majority of these reviews are fake, written by people desperate to sell their contract. Selling is very stressful and takes a long time to do so, as apart of their process of selling they encourage people to leave fake 5 star reviews to help persuade other's to buy the contract. This is a direct quote from their website. "Advertise your contract as aggressively as you can, on as many sites as you can, and offer as much of an incentive as you can. See the FAQs below. You might consider leaving Wolverine Crossing a positive review which includes information about your lease on one of the more frequented online spots like Google, or Facebook, or even Yelp. Google and Facebook are the #1 place where people go to review a property. A positive review from you may be just the thing to convince a potential buyer to buy your lease." - https://wolverinecrossing.com/sell-your-contract/ If you can avoid living here I would highly encourage you to do so. My time here was less than favorable. Management is less than responsible and useful, my direct roommate for one was an underage alcoholic, I literally took photos of the beer in our room and submitted him. Not only was he breaking a major law by drinking but also breaching a big rule on our lease by even having alcohol on the premise. Nothing happened. He should of at least received a nasty fine or been evicted. He has since reinstated his lease and moved to a private room with zero consequences. They do a monthly cleaning check, which is vary reasonable considering they rent mostly to college age kids and damage is inevitable. However, that being said, last month my bathroom failed the cleaning check where it had previously passed in the same condition it was in. When I spent about an hour and a half scrubbing with bleach and cleaning things out as best I could, they failed me again. The bathroom was the cleanest it had been in my entire time staying there. They are also in the slimy habit of double dipping off their tenants. When I first moved in I purchased my lease from a previous resident, I was to move in in the middle of the month, however; they wanted me to pay rent for the whole month. I called the previous tenant to see if he wanted to split rent since he'd be living there for the first half and I the second half. Upon calling him I found out that they told him to pay for the full month's rent. They wanted both of us to pay rent for the full month even though we were only spending half the month their and didn't communicate with either. The place is less than savory, the management doesn't act on things that don't immediately concern them, they're more interested in getting good reviews than they are providing quality housing and support ( even if those reviews are forged by those who want out), and (like many corporations) are much more interested in making money than anything else. If you are in a position to avoid this place I would encourage that. read more

Management appears helpful until you sign lease. Repairs take forever, roommates are assigned without proper background checks, communication with management is horrible. Pot smoking roommate assigned to my son's room, and he decided to bring a friend with him. Pot smoking roommate kicked out without an apology from management. Could not wait to get out of our lease. great living area but horrible pricing. for a small shared room with a bathroom i'm paying 500$ a month pretty much. It's ridiculous when i find out people are paying the same for a private room at other locations. Management is rude and so unprofessional. It's run by just a bunch or young adults who have no idea what they're are doing. Everytime we've complained about something, nothing is solved. They tried to update this place by changing the cabinets etc but it's still a piece of crap. things are breaking all the time and the plumbing is terrible. the sink and bathtub I all had to fix all by myself in my apartment because they were so disgusting inside. They technically just put lipstick on a pig and asked you to pay a bunch of money for it. We can't even use the hot tub that we pretty much pay for. Most parking is taken up by companies and so you end up having to park far away since all spots are for companies near the doors. No 24 hour visitor parking either. The people that live above me are obnoxiously loud and are constantly stomping and making so much noise from above. We've complained 3 times and i've sent multiple emails to management and kept in contact with that but they are just completely rude and unprofessional. so childish and immature. Every second of the day it sounds like the roof of our apartment is about it collapse and fall in. it's so creaky and loud. our doors rattle because of the noise from above . management told us they can't do anything. read more

Wolverine Crossing - Apartments Near Me - Orem, Utah

People only ever write reviews when they have bad things to say, so I figured I'd change that. The gym here rocks, and it's free for residents. There is ALWAYS resident parking and ALWAYS visitor parking. Very few complexes around here can say that. The rooms are large, the appliances look and feel new, and there's just a generally good atmosphere. If you're religious, the church building is in the same parking lot which is super nice, and the pool is close as well. I like this place a lot. read more

FUTURE STUDENTS!!!! ATTENTION!! This place is SOOOO SHI**Y. it doesn't even deserve a star!!!! I got super sick and was supposed to go home, BUT NOOOOOOO this damn place wouldn't let me out of my lease so ME, the poor college & sick student is stuck in a REALLY expensive lease until July. They don't give two sh**s about the students here, it's allll about money. They rather get people sick and still get there money, then deferring my lease or even just helping the full-time working student. They need to change the fu**ing rules because I know for a FACT that I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE IN THIS POSITION! Y'all fu**ing suck. That's all I have to say. Welcome to my Ted Talk, Bart from management. AND WTF, You put me with a roommate who had two cats, which i'm ALLERGIC by the way, and you guys didn't even tell me, "Hey you're going to be getting a roommate, who has cats." YALL DID NOT TELL ME SH**. I woke up to her in my living room. You guys need to change your ways. NEW STUDENTS LOOKING FOR A PLACE, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. This place seemed like a great place to start our son off in the world. Lots of great amenities, lots of social opportunities, etc. But once you move in, everything changes. Constant cleaning checks - they charge you cleaning fees, even when everything is cleaned. They go through your stuff if you're not home. The RAs are constantly in your business. If you need to leave before your contract is up, they charge you a ton of random fees to transfer your contract to someone else. They make the entire process very difficult and very expensive. Utter garbage. Laundry costs money to do. The rooms are small and extremely overpriced. The A/C is locked by management so some days my room is 85 degrees and other days its 65. I have literally no way to prevent this. There is not enough parking and the booters here are just waiting to take money from your friends. Love living here. The amenities are great, they keep up on the maintenance, and the staff are always kind.

Pros: amenities, location, student focused Cons: poor management, unstable rent, poor communication, leasing office not helpful, unreasonable regulations. Very little notice in having to move entire apartment rooms just as school was getting out. Rent raised for "renovations" which included very uncomfortable couches, the removing of carpet, and grimy cabinets which made the whole apartment feel uncomfortable and tacky. Harsh parking enforcement. Zero incentive or help in having to move multiple times for WC's renovations. The leasing office is not helpful and manager will not work with you. Been misinformed on multiple occasions by staff. They throw activities and parties with absurd budgets and then demand you every dollar. They take advantage of students which is EXTREMELY frustrating and inappropriate. I recommend if money is not a problem for you and you want to be close to UVU or train station. I do not recommend to anyone else after freshman year. read more

Money leechers. They nickel and dime you, and even when you've moved out and cleaned every inch of the apartment, they'll charge you a cleaning fee for the CURRENT roommates dirtying the oven and microwave and claim you're the sole responsible party. Oh and they'll only inspect and bill you a month AFTER you've moved out, but claim they did the inspection TWO DAYS AFTER MOVE OUT when we requested a walkthrough the day we turned over the keys, but the girl in the office huffed and rolled her eyes and said "it'll be done tomorrow" (yeah, we were moving out of STATE the following day, so we couldn't be there to make sure they did their job. But that was our mistake) when we called to discuss WHY we were being charged, we requested management and not the kids in front. Apparently there's no manager??? So the current tenants get to live in a filthy apartment while we pay to get it cleaned for them while not even living in the same state because they refused to clean through the ENTIRE lease duration and still had it dirty when they did our move out inspection. Also, someone put items in the bathroom, so instead of asking who it belonged to, they just charged us. We asked about them and all we were told was "the only thing you can do is get in contact with your roommates and tell them to confess that it's theirs and we won't charge you" lady... what part of "have not lived there in a month" do you not understand? So yeah. We get to pay for the other tenants belongings as well. In addition to this- upon initial move in, the room had TONS of items left from the previous tenant and was FILTHY. We immediately went to the office to get it fixed. Their response? "Umm yeaaahh sooo we don't really clean after...sooo you're gonna have to throw out those items and clean it yourself." So it's ironic that we are forced to pay when we left it sparkling clean, but they tell us to screw off when we had issues upon moving in. (This was cross posted. Will charge you for anything they can at a ridiculous price. Barely enough parking, expensive rooms though you usully share a small room with a random. making a mail key will cost you 25 dollars. UPDATE: I've just visited their yelp page for the first time since I posted this, and there are 70 "non-recommended" reviews. If you click to read them a ton of them are one star and recent. Not sure how or why a HUGE majority of reviews for this place are being hid, but they are. My first review was reported by Wolverine Crossing because they didn't like how I quoted the manager and the horrible things he would say while I was a resident here. So, I'm going to reword some things, and just provide a list of reasons not to live here. 1. You cannot get out of your contract once you sign it, unless you sell it to some other person. This is nearly impossible to do, I've never personally seen it done even though I've known over 10 people who have tried and failed to sell it. They will try to sell a different contract to anyone you bring in to buy yours- they even admit it on their website. 2. They will not get involved with any roommate disputes. I personally lived with someone who was not only breaking rules, but laws, and doing extremely sketchy things that made everyone in the apartment uncomfortable, but they refused to help. Even with air tight evidence. 3. They will make you move apartments upwards of 2-3 times if you happen to be living there when they do renovations. 4. The office does nothing about sexual harassment, even when it's coming from their own employees. 5. The rent is much more expensive than most of the surrounding complexes, and the 2 good amenities are not worth it at all. Yeah the pool and gym are pretty cool, but other complexes have better rooms, better amenities, and you'll pay a fraction of the price. 6. While living there one of my roommates kept having her packages mysteriously disappear, and when she asked the office about it the manager refused to work with her, despite having evidence that the office staff had put in fake reports saying that she had picked the mail up herself, despite her being out of the country at the time. 7. I've been to the office dozens of times trying to get information on various things, and not once have I ever been helped effectively. The office staff watches Netflix all day and doesn't seem to know anything about how anything is run. 8. If you request to room with a certain person, most times your request will be denied and you'll be placed with random people. 9. The washers and dryers don't work, despite having so many in each building. 10. I lived there for over a year, and it's one of my biggest regrets. Please, do not live here, do not send your children to live here, and do not trust anything they say. I've been burned time and time again, and I hope anyone reading this takes my review seriously and does not choose to reside here at Wolverine Crossing. read more

Do not recommend. No notice of having to change apartments several times for renovations just as school was ending and summer school beginning. Elevators broken during moving day. Manager does not work with you. Could not sublet room because of the multiple changes/moves that would occur over the summer. Disrespect for residents and lack of communication. Washers/dryer systems down frequently. Too many other choices, do not recommend renting here. read more

This place is an overpriced heap o garbage. I pay 460 for a shared room that has locked ac, poorly ventilated hallways, you even have to pay for your laundry and it's 1.50 to run a cycle in each machine, the dryers don't even dry your clothes all the way unless you have a tiny load it's garbage don't live here. read more

I had a great experience the first two months I was living at Wolverine crossing. But as soon as all of the new tenants moved in it quickly went down hill. The girl who moved into my room had a cat. Which I'm allergic to cats and Wolverine Crossing didn't even ask if I was ok with having a cat in the apartment or even the room I would be sleeping in. And they didn't even know that she had a cat to begin with and she had already been living there and was just transferring into a different room. And it wasn't even registered as an ESA or Special Needs animal. Even though in the lease at if you are to have an animal it MUST be registered. And their solution to this problem was to have ME move into a completely different apartment even though I had been living in the apartment for 3 months. And this girl was the problem and needed to be moved. Another solution was to have ME, and 18 year old girl. Move into a shared room with a transgender woman. There is no way in hell I would feel comfortable with that. So we had the girl get rid of her cat. But she still kept all the food and toys that still had cat hair/dander on them, in the room which made it hard for me to sleep. 2 of the girls living in my apartment somehow got possession of alcohol and they brought it into the apartment and just kept in the fridge not even trying to hide it from the ohters who lived in the apartment. All of the girls living in the apartment were under 21. So one of their parents or friends must have gotten the alcohol for them. There are multiply signs on the property that say "Please keep our property drug and alcohol free" And it even says on the lease that you are not allowed to have alcohol in the apartment. All wolverine crossing did was post a notice on our door. They didn't fine these girls for breaking rule after rule. They just continued to let them live there. Wolverine Crossing has terrible management and I did not feel comfortable or safe living there the last month. read more

I have lived at Wolverine Crossing for almost 1.5 years and I am severely disappointed and pissed off. If you are considering signing a lease or have already signed a lease for this property I would recommend trying to cancel it. The infrastructure of the rooms has not been updated since the buildings were constructed. every bit of technology (A.C. TV, fridge, dishwasher, oven) and even furniture has not been updated since 2004. I was having an issue with my A.C unit not working back in January and the "maintenance team" tried to fix it 3 total times. They put my own trash in the A.C. unit at one notable time to stop a rattle I can only assume. It was only when I got in contact with the Property Manager about the trash that the AC was finally fixed. To sum up this section, the Maintenance team is not qualified for their job at this location, which is strange because I pay them $480 a month for a shared room. I have also put many maintenance requests to have the treadmills in the gym fixed. It has been 7 months and there has been no change in them. The RAs could not give less of a **** about what you have to say or your concerns. The "job" they have there is a glorified high school clique but instead, they are getting paid to be rude and obnoxious. Every experience I've had with the RAs (besides Houston) has been awful. I forget the name of the man but I had a package that wouldn't fit in the lockers in the mailroom so they had it behind the leasing office "counter" the box was clearly labeled REDBUBBLE and had my name in multiple locations however he could not find the package. He then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that it had been delivered and to check back tomorrow. However, I had confirmation from USPS and from their email that it arrived. I finally got the package when someone who wasn't a complete illiterate douchebag found my package in literally 30 seconds. How can a property managing company hire a dozen teenagers with the IQ of a McChicken to run their leasing office? It blows my mind. And just recently they hired a new crew of RAs and they are just about the same. Keep in mind this is student housing and they have cleaning checks. Cleaning checks are every 3rd Saturday when they come in and check to see if your room is clean. Up until last month, my apartment has passed with flying colors and never had an issue. We keep our apartment clean. But this new group of RAs failed every single person in our apartment. Keep in mind I was out of town from May 19th to May 28th and cleaning checks were done on the 21st. There is no way I Could've cleaned the apartment yet I was still charged $71 dollars after the RAs came in again the following Monday at 4 pm and failed us once again. The Maintenance team was called to "clean" the areas that were failed and I **** you not, they were in there for 5 minutes and did not do ANYTHING. It looked the exact same as it did when my roommate worked his butt off to get that bathroom spotless. My roommate has been trying to contact the accounting branch to contest this $71 charge but they have been ignoring his emails. We have pictures of before the RA's came back on Monday to do rechecks If they cannot point out in a big red circle where the areas are dirty then we need to sit down and work this out. Either way, we need to sit down and understand what is now expected of us given this new "regime" change for the property. At the least let these RAs come back into our apartment and walk through what they expect and how they want it done. Again if you have signed a lease or are thinking of signing, DO NOT!!!! You may as well bend over and have them screw ya because they're going to screw you over either way so get it out of the way early. I am beyond disappointed and pissed off and I expect to be contacted SOON to resolve many of the issues that are happening here. read more

zach, the manager, isn't very nice. the backhanded comments ive heard from him are disgusting. would not recommend this place, purely because bad people in management. when management behaves that way, you can only imagine the bull youre going to have to deal with as a tenant or visitor. read more

Seriously one of the worst places to live. Buildings are old and outdated and the damage to the apartments just gets ignored instead of fixed. Took them two months to come around and fix my internet after I submitted a fix ticket. The management tried to charge me cleaning fees for my ROOMMATES cat after she moved out and didn't pay them. They charged me for six months and every month I had to go down and argue the cleaning charges, as well as eventually had to have my mom call as well. Then they tried to charge me for turning my keys in ON TIME according to their leasing agreement. Even after the lady on the phone told me that I was totally correct and shouldn't be charged. Find ANYWHERE else to live. Anywhere is better than here. Even the apartments directly across the road look ten times better and they hopefully have a management office that knows what they are doing. read more

Would not recommend living here at all I've had the worst experience it's ran by a bunch of kids that have no idea what they are doing. There are mouse traps under all the beds and all over my apartment and mouse poop when I moved apartments. Not even there we found mushrooms growing in the hall and they didn't do anything. I've also had multiple times where RA and the office would walk in to my apartment with no reason or warning with no one being home. The washer and dryers are also DISGUSTING they have mold and smell so bad and you have to dry your clothes multiples times and I've had to ring out my clothes. They also will do anything to get money from you. read more

RUN-A-WAY. My son signed a 1yr lease. He has paid $412/mo every month. He moved out of the apartment 6 months into the lease and has still paid every month. When he moved out he made sure that WC checked him out of the apartment. However, THEY ARE STILL HOLDING THE DEPOSIT - six more months - in case there is any damage. Umm exsqueeze me? You mean any potential damage his former roommates may cause in the six months he has been gone - after you (WC) already verified no damage? He is held accountable for that? Sounds like it may be time to retain a lawyer... Also he has been trying to sell his contract, but WC requires that IF he is successful in selling the contract the person buying it will have to pay the now higher rental rate WC now charges. That's like trying to sell a used car and requiring that you only sell the used car at a current year's new model's MSRP. These guys are total crooks. Flee! Flee! Flee! read more
