I was looking for a type of cuisine that I've never had before, and I saw this restaurant. Short Story: I would definitely recommend for some decent priced good food.

FOOD:
Sampler Plate for 2: 5/5, I would definitely recommend this plate if this is your first time eating Ethiopian because you get a little bit of everything. This is the fastest way to try all of their ethnic foods at once. They serve it on a big piece of bread (Injera) that you tear off from the sides and eat with. I would say the Kitfo is the best if you like spicy food. It had a very distinct flavor, and it turned out to be their special also, definitely recommend. They also serve it as a full meal, so I'm sure that would be good too to get on its own.
Qocho (side dish): 5/5, I really liked this because it was very different, but it's not for everybody. In fact the server recommended that we not buy this because most people don't like it. It's a bread that is made from a plant and buried underground for a long period of time to fully finish. It can only be made in Ethiopia so it is really hard to find anywhere else. I thought we should take advantage and I was glad. I personally thought the Qocho with the food was better than the Injera. It essentially is a thick doughy textured bread.

PRICE:
Sampler Plate: 22 Pounds
Qocho: 2 Pounds
Overall, very reasonable, around 10 pounds per person.

SERVICE:
5/5: The guy serving us was very nice, he was really helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. He was also very honest in telling us that he didn't recommend the Qocho when we asked to order it. He told us most people don't like it but if we really want we can try it. He also would consistently come up to us to see if we were okay, and how we were liking the food. Service was decent in terms of time. Also, no wait to get a table

AMBIANCE:
Casual. Not really like a date-y place. It's filled with mostly locals that are just relaxing and talking. Not a cafe, but it gives a very friendly relaxed vibe. Definitely could bring kids here.
