Discount Tire never charges to patch tires. so a free job and a broken cap was gonna end up costing them about $30. Not gonna lie, I've seen plenty of places who would not have been honest about the situation. The cap could been put back in and I may not have noticed until spring time:) . However, the guys at Discount Tire were honest about the situation apologized immediately As they came to tell me what happened, they were already ordering me the replacement cap. I know the world we live in now. Doing the right thing is not always done these days. Just wanted to share and give some kudos to the guys at Discount Tire in Olathe for being honest and doing the right thing.

After I changed the tire and put the spare on, we made the short trip and the guys there were super helpful and very nice. They were able to patch up the tire and didn't try selling me a new one. I had a blowout last night, heading home to Olathe. Today, when I came back to Lawrence for work, I was told the tires I preferred, would not be available until the following day. Zack got with their supplier, got them ordered, and delivered, same day. Much to my surprise, they got me worked in, replaced my aging TPMS sensors, replace the tires, and performed an alignment. All in less than one hour! Lawrence has several options for tire service, and many good options at that. But consistency with each visit, and knowledge and empathy from the front staff can make all the difference when making a decision.
