When I was ready to proceed, Scott reacquainted himself with the job, confirmed the original estimate still valid and scheduled us for my preferred date. Scott confirmed the appointment the day before. Tyler sent me "I'm on my way" Text with his photo and promptly got to work. He discovered a problem under our toilet that I believed (but hoped did not) existed. He sent me photos and his office is coordinating with Dolphin to address the fix. I have used Dolphin before and trust Jim immensely. I was so relieved when Tyler said his office would contact Dolphin and explain the situation. He made my day by saying don't worry - we will contact Dolphin and coordinate. Thank you Tyler! (This plumbing company is superb to the Newport plumbing company that starts with an R and is three letters! I told them there was an issue re the toilet they installed. They came out and said it was a squeak from a sub floor nail. Funny it never squeaked before and the sub floor never changed - but the R plumbing company guy was rude and said it was fine - very demeaning- and then billed me an additional $150.00 to come out. For years I ignored the squeak but I knew there was a small leak. So glad I hired Newport Plumbing and I am now a customer for life.)

He was clear, he could explain everything very intelligently and quickly. He's a fast thinker and a very smart person. It's great talking to him. He's knowledgeable and he looked at some other things which we might do in the future and also explained how to alleviate the problem. I found that by taking both the nozzles off of both of the hoses where they were leaks, It solved the problem because it stopped the water from coming out of the pipe bib. Considering how bad the economic times are in the prices of today they are pretty reasonable or at least decent and not extreme. Everything else is out of control. I feel safe having them in my home and leaving. I know everything will be fine and I really enjoy having them as my plumber because I feel like I have someone I can trust if God forbid there's ever a real emergency. Extremely rude staff…read more Family has patronized Hendrix Heating before, but when I was asked to call this company to investigate the process of installing a ductless HVAC with heatpump, this company showed its true nature: petty and vindictive. I called first thing in the morning, right as they opened, excited to start the process of updating the property (currently has no AC and only a wood stove for heat). I explained who I was, why I was calling, and what my family wanted. I explained that I was not the owner, but I'd been asked to gather information from a local installer on their behalf, and that they would be available to approve any visit for estimation. I left a callback and waited more than an hour before checking with them, again. The scheduler not only refused to answer even general questions about their services, but told me the reason she had not called me back was that she was going through messages from the weekend. I said "oh, that's fine, can you call me when you get to my name on the list?" She said "no, I won't be calling you" and ended the call. I called back and spoke with another woman and expressed "frustration" over this. I told her we absolutely understood that the property owner needs to authorize an estimation visit, but stressed that I was simply tasked, at this stage, with gathering info and recommending a vendor for the service. I asked this second rep if the company has too much business and does not see value in answering prospective customers' general inquiries, and she said "no, we definitely do have time to answer questions". I thanked her and asked that the scheduler call me back. She said she would. The call ended. No call came, and our family contacted Hendrix again only to be refused any level of service (despite, again, having spent multiple thousands of dollars with this company in the recent past), due to me being "rude" on the phone. Our family simply called a competitor -- and I urge anyone reading this to call another company. This company does not know what to do with direct prospective customer feedback that is offered without rudeness, colorful language, or raised voice. I would much rather provide this kind of feedback directly to a company and keep it out of the public sphere, but at this stage, since this company is not professional enough to handle one on one communication, I am putting this out to warn others.
