Wolf is fantastic!!! I had a log splitter that wasn't working. I called all the small engine repair shops on the Big Island only to find out that no one would service the machine because it was electric. I called Wolf and he not only said he would look at it, but he met me to pick it up the next day. By that evening he had called and told me what he believed was wrong with the machine. At that time he also gave me an estimate of the repair costs. Then next day he called me to inform me how much a needed replacement part would cost, BEFORE he purchased it. By that afternoon Wolf met me with my repaired machine. His service was timely and professional. He is very courteous and considerate of his customer's needs. My little wood splitter is working fine now and I couldn't be happier. I have been telling all my friends about the great service Wolf provided me. I would not hesitate to call him again for any repairs I might need. He not only repairs machines but he is mobile too, picking up and returning your item at an agreed upon location. He will eventually have to rename his business due to the many negative reviews such as mine. He has no clue how to run a business. The customer is always right. Never call this guy for anything.

I was on the hunt for Culantro plant for my mom. We searched all over while shopping for veggie plants back on Oahu. Excited, I asked my hubby to take me to the Garden Exchange, I could have walked over but didn't know it was so close by, one street over from the Farmer's Market. FYI- Parking is located on the other side/back of Garden Exchange not on the main street. I asked a kind staff to guide me to where the Culantro were and killed 2 birds with one stone, I also asked if they have any Hoya plants. I loved looking at the plant selection they have. I ended up with 2 Culantro and came across a beautiful Hoya plant on trellis and for such a great price, I had to get it. Happy with my Hoya plant and culantro for my momma during this visit. I wasn't sure if it would clear agriculture inspection back at the airport, but glad it did. Not sure why the low ratings but I loved my first time visit, I LOVE plants, staff that helped me were all so friendly. Garden Exchange is a well established gardening store, located in Hilo with history dating back to 1964. Make a stop here for your garden needs, super huge store! I was happy to learn that Ashton had landscape construction knowledge, and had worked with the wholesale nursery before, and had the equipment and crew to get the whole project done. Most importantly, they were willing to take it on, even with scheduling picking up and delivering the mature tree from Hilo. It was impressive to watch it all happen. Because my yard is solid bluestone under a few inches of dirt, two machines were brought in to excavate a 3 foot deep, 5 foot diameter hole. Then the 85 gallon tree was delivered, and with entire crew involved, the tree was artfully maneuvered into place and planted. The tree is healthy and happy and I am enjoying the much needed shade. I couldn't be happier with the excellent and professional service and expertise.

Follow-up work (faucet replacement and shutoff valve replacements) had to wait for a building-wide water shutoff. When I learned on Jan 23 that a shutoff had been scheduled for Jan 31 (a limited, 3-hour window that happens maybe a few times a year), I contacted Drain Man immediately--speaking with the office manager and following up the same day by both text and email with full details. (These communications had concluded by 1:15 p.m.) By 11:30 a.m. Monday morning I hadn't heard back. When I called again, (the call rolled over from the office directly to the plumber, who said he was on his back underneath someone's sink), I was told nothing was scheduled and was asked for the work details again, despite having already provided them. When I expressed concern about the multiple provisions of the details--given the tight timing--the conversation was ended abruptly by the plumber ("I'm busy"). This experience suggested organizational and communication issues. That impression was reinforced by the fact that my landlord had also been waiting on an electronic invoice from the December visit and still hadn't received it by Jan. 12. Bottom line: if you're judging purely on workmanship, I have no complaints. But if timely communication, clear scheduling, and not having to repeat yourself matter to you, this may not be the right fit.

This is a WAY overdue review. These guys are AWESOME. I had a sewer pump station die after 20…read moreyears. This was a few days before I had a whole house full of guests. I call Daryl and Sean. They came immediately and realized that both the pump and the backup pump had failed due to a rope degrading and getting caught in the pump motor. When they built the house, they didn't install grinder pumps. The most heavy duty grinder pumps are Liberty Pumps. I was going to have them sent in by FedEx overnight, but Sewer Solutions had them brand new from another job that were provided to them for a large commercial job that really needed even bigger grinder pumps. They sold me two, 1-hp Liberty Grinder Pumps at their cost plus shipping. Instead of waiting even 2 days to bring them in by FedEx (these are about 40 lbs each), they brought them over the next day with a standby electrician to wire everything to code. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. Fast, honest, hard-working and fair. THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A REPAIR OF THIS MAGNITUDE -- HANDS DOWN!

Had them out to do two termite inspections, at two separate properties, and while there for less…read morethan an hour at each property (at a cost of $340 each) the "inspector" was not able to answer any questions about whether to not visible holes in wood was from termites or not, and both reports came back exactly the same - some very minor appearance that could be droppings in a tiny area, that he could not say was recent or if it indicated they were active, and no other evidence anywhere above these areas of termites in ANY other area of house. (we are talking an area of less than one square foot) but recommended tenting for both houses, and to contact another Pest company to arrange, because they don't do tenting. Contacted the other Pest company and asked them to review the report to see if we really needed tenting vs. spot treatment, and they said it would be a conflict of interest to for them to review the report, but they were eager to make an appointment for the tenting. Asked to talk over the reports with the "boss" (as the employee referred to) at WillKilz for clarification and was told "he's very busy" she would give him the message, and a month later, I'm still waiting for that call back. We finally went with someone else because it's all just a bit too fishy to us. Too bad, because we really like the other pest company that they are obviously partnered with in some way, because in the past they have done a REAL termite inspection, that took a couple hours and were able to answer questions and provide insight.
