What's worse is that I was blatantly robbed . 17.79 for ( 1 green pepper , one bag of popcorn , one onion, one avocado , one mango, two tangerines and that in turn qualified me for a free basket of apples . They got my money today but they will never get my business again and I hope others are deterred to support such thieving . This farmer's market sits right next to the Thortons on 301 and Progress Blvd or Bloomingdale Avenue. They advertise that they're having hay rides and a pumpkin patch so we thought that was neat. They do indeed have a huge selection of pumpkins. The produce wasn't too different than what you would find at a grocery store and some of it was actually priced higher than what you would normally find. We didn't end up buying anything because there wasn't much of a deal that we could find. We are interested in the hay ride so maybe we will come on the weekend for that. Other than that, I don't think we would come back. read more

If there was a zero star rating I'd pick that. They advertised smoked mullet, the smoked mullet was 1 year expired, extremely overpriced. Almost half the produce was rotten or inorganic also the customer service and overall vibe is absolutely terrible. I wasted twenty minutes of my life and 50 dollars out my wallet... lesson learned. read more

What a great roadside produce market! Super diverse assortment of fruit and vegetables available here at very reasonable prices. 1/2 flats of strawberries for around $11, early season watermelons for $7. Apples, tomatoes, and green beans. There's also some fresh spices in the coolers as well as vegetables that are prone to wilting or turning quickly. Looks like a bunch of the product is from Plant City area - love buying locally! The manager here was very helpful and let me know as I left if any of the product wasn't satisfactory they'd make it right. Produce is a tough and volatile business, and I appreciate that offer. I've come home with strawberries from markets only to find a giant mold farm in the middle rendering the batch inedible. Glad to see an owner willing to fix such a problem with no issues! read more

This was the best experience! We just moved from Texas and the produce at all of the grocery stores here have been extremely poor quality and overpriced. But here at Wolfe's, the produce was AMAZING!!! The quality and freshness is what I would expect when buying produce. Also, with every $10 purchase, you get something for free (for instance, today we got a small basket of peaches for free), and they also offer rewards punch cards! I love this market. They are conveniently located & I find it easy to get in an out of the parking lot. They are located on the Southwest corner of Bloomingdale/Progress & US 301 in Riverview. I specifically started going here to get my local honey. Local honey is one of my staples that I believe helps with allergies. I think they have the best I have found in the area. The clerks are really friendly & helpful & they have a rotating variety of items and try to stay in with the seasons & holidays, So check them out if you are in the area, they are constantly growing & improving their look. read more

#246 Our local produce stand. I love these little markets. Not everything is the freshest but you usually find things here that the supers don't carry. Like pickling cucumbers, zucchini bigger than a pencil, early sweet corn and on and on. Support your local small business, it's really good to keep these kind of places open. During the holidays Wolfe's does hay rides and has a pumpkin patch. Good stuff. I remember back in early 2011 when wife and I just moved here a pretty severe rain storm spawned a little tornado that took out Wolfe's. There was stuff everywhere. The clever people that work there cleaned things up and put "Twister Sale" signs up on 301 and Bloomingdale. Of course they rebuilt, not much to rebuild, just some overheads, but I'll never forget my first encounter with Wolfe's, good people. read more

This is my favorite market in the area! The seasonal fruit and veggies are amazing! It's family owned and the customer service is out of this world. The guys always give me the scoop on what's local and/or in season when I go in, so I always leave with the most amazing produce picks! This week, I went in and got the best local watermelon, sweet corn and blackberries I have ever tasted! During strawberry season, I always go there first and they even have strawberry onions too that I can never find anywhere! I enjoy coming to this farmers produce stand during the year we buy tickets for the hayride and pick up pie & carving pumpkins and take pictures here. I also see that they sell live Christmas trees and offer a large selection of fresh produce for sale. I've only eaten the pie pumpkins which were excellent if you're making a pie from scratch. Can't believe I've passed this place and never stopped in! I'm so glad I did. The nicest and friendliest people greeted me. The selection of fresh fruit and vegetables was plentiful. They have a couple rewards programs including money off and also free bananas. I've eaten the peaches so far out of what i purchased and they're the freshest and sweetest I've had in a long time! I stop in here every time I visit the Tampa Bay Area. The boiled peanuts are made daily out back. No canned peanuts here. Giving it four stars because this visit my Cajun style peanuts had a burnt aftertaste. The original style peanuts were fine. By far the best REAL peanuts in town. read more

This past weekend was the fifth time in a year that I've bought watermelons from this particular produce stand each and every time (I buy at least two) watermelons each and every time the watermelon I've been completely over ripe to the point where you cut into them and they're basically applesauce I have yet to leave a review about this produce stand cause I really don't like to leave negative reviews but I've called this produce stand four different times they never even offered a replacement watermelon not that I was looking for one I was just looking for insight on when the best time would be to buy watermelon's which I got no answer for so in closing they've been there for a while and I'm assuming whoever get there they get their watermelon from it's just too far into the pipeline for them to get fresh melons or they're holding onto melons that they don't sell and they're selling them as ripe but they're way over ripe read more
