So very disappointed. So I did a crazy buy yesterday. I bought 2 watermelons for $15.00 each. Insane I know but I couldn't find seeded watermelons anywhere and I needed 2. Not only were they expensive but they were very small and tasteless. Never in my 52 years have I ever had a tasteless watermelon. They are actually pretty disgusting. It was a stupid buy being $15.00, that falls on me but the fact they are selling SMALL watermelons with literally no taste for $15.00 idk how they get any business to stay open. But then again you have crazy buyers like me. Crazy how they get away with it. I was that sucker yesterday. Go to Walmart or find the truck on the side of the road that sells them. read more

This place is not very good . I saw 0 organic produce and even garlic that hails from China! ( Read up on that one !) What's worse is that I was blatantly robbed . 17.79 for ( 1 green pepper , one bag of popcorn , one onion, one avocado , one mango, two tangerines and that in turn qualified me for a free basket of apples . They got my money today but they will never get my business again and I hope others are deterred to support such thieving . I know the prices weren't that high when I was looking around and I caught the charge when reviewing my statements . read more

Wolfe's Produce - 17.79 for this . None of these fruits are organic mind you . - Fruits & Veggies Near Me - Riverview, Florida

Jeff was super helpful and knowledgeable! He shared his history and the fact that the produce stand has been open for 14 years. Such a great place. We bought limes 8 for a $1.00. They even have cotton Candy grapes! They have local orange blossom honey at $13.99. read more

This farmer's market sits right next to the Thortons on 301 and Progress Blvd or Bloomingdale Avenue. They advertise that they're having hay rides and a pumpkin patch so we thought that was neat. They do indeed have a huge selection of pumpkins. The produce wasn't too different than what you would find at a grocery store and some of it was actually priced higher than what you would normally find. We didn't end up buying anything because there wasn't much of a deal that we could find. We are interested in the hay ride so maybe we will come on the weekend for that. Other than that, I don't think we would come back. read more

Great produce! Fresh veggies and fruit! I only visited once and it's all laid out almost like a "help yourself" way! Everything is visible and fresh! I rarely give a 5 star ratings but I found nothing wrong here! (For those wondering, yes ebt friendly) read more

They are #1 in Riverview Best, selection, quality and from the owner Jeff and everyone very nice, courtesy the best place you can go for a lot of selections and different seasonal items and events read more

Sad to say, this place is a rip off... way way overpriced for average to bad produce. An extra star for the helpful attendant, however four of the items she 'helped' me pick went moldy within a day. Won't be back. read more

If there was a zero star rating I'd pick that. They advertised smoked mullet, the smoked mullet was 1 year expired, extremely overpriced. Almost half the produce was rotten or inorganic also the customer service and overall vibe is absolutely terrible. I wasted twenty minutes of my life and 50 dollars out my wallet... lesson learned. read more

What a great roadside produce market! Super diverse assortment of fruit and vegetables available here at very reasonable prices. 1/2 flats of strawberries for around $11, early season watermelons for $7. Apples, tomatoes, and green beans. There's also some fresh spices in the coolers as well as vegetables that are prone to wilting or turning quickly. Looks like a bunch of the product is from Plant City area - love buying locally! The manager here was very helpful and let me know as I left if any of the product wasn't satisfactory they'd make it right. Produce is a tough and volatile business, and I appreciate that offer. I've come home with strawberries from markets only to find a giant mold farm in the middle rendering the batch inedible. Glad to see an owner willing to fix such a problem with no issues! read more

This was the best experience! We just moved from Texas and the produce at all of the grocery stores here have been extremely poor quality and overpriced. But here at Wolfe's, the produce was AMAZING!!! The quality and freshness is what I would expect when buying produce. Also, with every $10 purchase, you get something for free (for instance, today we got a small basket of peaches for free), and they also offer rewards punch cards! The owners are so kind and friendly, so it makes it easy to shop and know you're welcome. We've found our spot for fresh produce Thank you Jeff and John! read more

Love their Cajun boiled peanuts & fresh strawberry lemonade! Very cute market & has a large variety of fresh produce as well.

I do not care what any other review says, this place should have 5 stars. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. They usually do something where if you spend $10 you get a free basket of fruit. I'm from a small town and this makes me feel at home. I love this place! read more

Amazing!! Go get your fresh, local produce!! Their products are fresh and grown and local family owned business - highly recommend them.

This ain't it, chief. Most everything is imported. This is basically an outdoor Publix.

I love this market. They are conveniently located & I find it easy to get in an out of the parking lot. They are located on the Southwest corner of Bloomingdale/Progress & US 301 in Riverview. I specifically started going here to get my local honey. Local honey is one of my staples that I believe helps with allergies. I think they have the best I have found in the area. The clerks are really friendly & helpful & they have a rotating variety of items and try to stay in with the seasons & holidays, So check them out if you are in the area, they are constantly growing & improving their look. read more

#246 Our local produce stand. I love these little markets. Not everything is the freshest but you usually find things here that the supers don't carry. Like pickling cucumbers, zucchini bigger than a pencil, early sweet corn and on and on. Support your local small business, it's really good to keep these kind of places open. During the holidays Wolfe's does hay rides and has a pumpkin patch. Good stuff. I remember back in early 2011 when wife and I just moved here a pretty severe rain storm spawned a little tornado that took out Wolfe's. There was stuff everywhere. The clever people that work there cleaned things up and put "Twister Sale" signs up on 301 and Bloomingdale. Of course they rebuilt, not much to rebuild, just some overheads, but I'll never forget my first encounter with Wolfe's, good people. read more

I just called to make sure they have firewood and they were closed but called in his brother to come meet us at the store so we could purchase wood. That is way above and beyond and we're extremely thankful!!! We also always go for fresh produce during the year and Halloween for sweet family pictures. We love going to our local families in business. Thank you folks!! read more

I've been coming to Wolfe's Produce for several years and I have never been disappointed in the service or produce I get. And the boiled peanuts are amazing. read more

This is my favorite market in the area! The seasonal fruit and veggies are amazing! It's family owned and the customer service is out of this world. The guys always give me the scoop on what's local and/or in season when I go in, so I always leave with the most amazing produce picks! This week, I went in and got the best local watermelon, sweet corn and blackberries I have ever tasted! During strawberry season, I always go there first and they even have strawberry onions too that I can never find anywhere! I've tried all the local stands, tried the co-ops and still nothing compares! Riverview friends, if you aren't shopping here, you are missing out! read more

Support local business. Not just because it's the right thing to do but because the owners are phenomenal people. The produce is always outstanding, every holiday where you need a pumpkin or Christmas tree they have THE BEST selection and great prices. And when you stop, GET THE PEANUTS. best boiled peanuts in town. Highly suggest and you won't be upset you went. read more

This place has been around for a bit now, and they definitely know what they're doing. Great people running the business! Always very personable. And of course, the produce is awesome! There isn't a another place I'd get my Halloween pumpkins or Christmas trees! Support local businesses! read more

Decent fruit stand next to a gas station. Not the highest quality but the prices.were generally reasonable. Nearby Riverview Fresh Market is also a good option if you like Latin foods and produce. I got a good deal on bananas here. B-A-N-A-N-A-S read more

I enjoy coming to this farmers produce stand during the year we buy tickets for the hayride and pick up pie & carving pumpkins and take pictures here. I also see that they sell live Christmas trees and offer a large selection of fresh produce for sale. I've only eaten the pie pumpkins which were excellent if you're making a pie from scratch. But I know so many other spots that I feel are priced more competitively but I do enjoy a visit here couple times. read more

I started hitting this place up a couple months ago when I started getting into juicing. (If you're not familiar with juicing, watch the movie "Fat Sick & Nearly Dead" and all the other similar docs on Netflix... it'll wake you up fast!) This place is close for me, but if there were other options nearby, I would probably go there too. This place is good though. Decent variety of fruits and vegetables. There's a small selection of refrigerated stuff... but the greens in particular sometimes seem less than fresh. The crew here is always friendly. Definitely a family business. I like to buy local and organic so this is my first stop... but whatever they're out of or if something doesn't seem as fresh as I'd like, I still usually hit Publix for a few things on the way home. read more

Wolfe's Produce has the best boiled peanuts! I prefer the regular because the cajun are a little too spicy for me. Great prices, friendly owners (family owned and operated) and excellent customer service. My favorite time of year at the produce stand is Halloween and Christmas. Great, fresh fruit selection and reasonably priced. The clerk was super nice. I recommend going here first for your produce!

What a great place to get local fresh produce at a great price! BEST produce spot in town! My husband and I found this hidden gem many years ago when it was just a tent on the side of 301. I look forward to trying more things. This is my new spot for farm fresh goods. read more

I stop in here every time I visit the Tampa Bay Area. The boiled peanuts are made daily out back. No canned peanuts here. Giving it four stars because this visit my Cajun style peanuts had a burnt aftertaste. The original style peanuts were fine. By far the best REAL peanuts in town. read more

This past weekend was the fifth time in a year that I've bought watermelons from this particular produce stand each and every time (I buy at least two) watermelons each and every time the watermelon I've been completely over ripe to the point where you cut into them and they're basically applesauce I have yet to leave a review about this produce stand cause I really don't like to leave negative reviews but I've called this produce stand four different times they never even offered a replacement watermelon not that I was looking for one I was just looking for insight on when the best time would be to buy watermelon's which I got no answer for so in closing they've been there for a while and I'm assuming whoever get there they get their watermelon from it's just too far into the pipeline for them to get fresh melons or they're holding onto melons that they don't sell and they're selling them as ripe but they're way over ripe read more
