That being said, it had a wide range of kitchen tools, arts and crafts supplies, toys, hygiene and cleaning products, and seasonal offerings. I always go to the dollar store for Xmas supplies. A full roll of wrapping paper, tape, bag of bows, four 3-meter-long rolls of ribbon, and a box of Lemonhead candy canes for $5? Thank you! That's the price of one roll of wrapping paper at most other stores! Trust me, get all your wrapping supplies here. Gift bags are a STEAL at $1. Go to CVS, and a large bag will run you at least $4. Never buy expensive greeting cards ever again! The dollar store is your answer. Specific to this store, I found the staff to be extremely friendly. I grabbed the wrong kind of tape the day before, and instead of making me go through the whole return process that would result in a wash anyway, the cashier let me swap out the two items and be on my way. I did pick up some guava cookies and headed to the registers. I love the smell of world market as you walk through. It smells like a beach home if that makes sense. My father only gained assess recently so we are still getting used to the ins and outs of everything. As I am not listed as a "caregiver" for my Dad, it is kind of a pain to have to always stop and get a day pass for me to be able to drive him back onto the base but small price to pay. There are plenty of items that we do not buy there as they are close to the same price as Publix or other stores and if the stores are having a BOGO, there isn't a chance but there are tons of stuff that are lower in price and worth the drive. I am mindful of pricing per pound and chicken is not something we'll ever buy there as really the options are limited and pricing, not worth it, especially compared to Sam's or other club pricing. Recently, we tried out their online Click 'N Go and though it is extremely helpful for someone like my Dad who has trouble walking around much, I was somewhat disappointed. There is a specific item that my parents love and the quality and pricing is amazing so when ordering a large amount of numbers, the butcher staff told the Click 'N Go staff they didn't have enough packages to complete our order. I actually ordered 2 days ahead of time, not because I thought they would set them aside for us by 2 days but so they knew they had a large order coming up and would have time to prep and be able to complete the order fully but no success. On a hunch, I felt there would be a good chance that if I walked into the store and they would have more in the meat department and I was right. They had more than enough and we were there early so I know they prepped them that morning and just didn't want to have to do more for the store itself. Honestly, why does it matter if it goes to a Click 'N Go order or to someone walking in the store? I did mention this to the staff member that brought out our order because she apologized for not having the full order... she was shocked because she said that she specifically talked to them about our order as she was also the one who walked the store collecting our items. At the end of the day, we got the number of packages we wanted, but I shouldn't have had to walk into the store to do so myself. Just complete the order if you truly have the numbers to do so. I don't feel it was appropriate to act like they didn't have enough because they didn't want to do more work or that now I'll always feel I have to go in personally to check if the numbers are off. Other than that staff issue, we have had zero issues with customer service and everyone has been very helpful when trying to find something. They always are very accommodating towards my Dad and his need to go sit down while I am checking out for him. He is a typical Marine and even at the age of 78 with very bad knees, refuses to use any motorized carts, etc. so he gives them his card and goes to sit down while I handle the rest for him. Be sure to be mindful that the baggers only work for tips so be kind, ESPECIALLY when they are taking out your groceries for you and packing up your car.

The store just felt really cramped, yet missing a lot at the same time. I had a very disappointing experience at this Daiso location…read more After we finished shopping, a store employee/manager accused one of my children of opening the packaging on multiple squishy toys. We have three young children (ages 1, 3, and 6), and they have always been taught to purchase before opening any items. They do not open merchandise to take or steal it. I told the manager that if they could show me video footage proving one of my children opened the packages, I would gladly pay for the damaged items. Instead, I was told that "corporate called" and identified our children, but they refused to show any video or explain which child they were referring to. They continued to accuse us without providing any evidence. They also was unsure if it was our kids did it or not as they confirmed there were opened item before my kids walk pass the aisle. Being accused of something like this, especially involving young children, was upsetting and embarrassing. If a store is going to make such a serious accusation, they should be willing to support it with clear evidence instead of expecting customers to accept it without question. My 3 and 6 years old said they did saw the opened items, but they did not opened it. I hope Daiso reviews how situations like this are handled. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and accusations should be based on facts, not assumptions.

Scouting the Women's Clearance section first, I contemplated purchasing shorts for the unbelievable Clearance price of $3.30. Carrying them while I continued shopping, I decided they would make a nice cover up for the beach, but I am fully stocked for beach wear. Last minute, I decided to check on Shorts before leaving. And there, hidden among regular-priced items was a cute striped skirt for only...wait for...It's worth the wait...are you sitting down?...FIFTY CENTS! :-D. That's right, Ladies and Gents! I also purchased a Doggie Car Seat for $12.99; I didn't feel like ordering this online and waiting for delivery. Yesterday's Retail Therapy session was a success in my opinion. After all, who doesn't love a bargain?
