I was sent by VA to get my eye glass prescription; was told. without my last prescription they could not write me a new on; I was not aware I needed to bring my previous prescription. I have to say that overall I have not had a good experience with Wolfe Clinic Optical. I bought frames and lenses. The nose piece fell off almost immediately. When I returned them, I was told that the frames were defective and would be replaced. When the replacement arrived they were the wrong color, when I said something about the wrong color the girl immediately said "oh they don't make that color anymore." I asked if she would call around and see if another office had the color in stock. Come to find out that they do still have that color, but the wrong code was entered when they were ordered. Later the left arm of the glasses snapped when I folded them . I wanted to use my one year warranty but was told it was already used previously when they were defective. It was my understanding that the frames were defective so replacement was not part of my warranty. But the girl at Wolfe disagreed and said " that's what warranties are for". So I ended up having to buy a second pair of frames. While the nose pieces were being put on the girl scratched the lense. So now I have to get a new lense. I've been told that the lense will be replaced but I have no doubt that they will again use up my warranty to replace the lense that was scratched at their office. After I get the lense replaced, I shan't go back there. read more
