We arrived Wednesday night and on Thursday morning we got in our truck to go into town and our transmission was locked in 4th gear. I contacted your dealership and explained our problem and that we were supposed to go home Sunday. Your service department said they would get it in right away to see what the problem was so we brought it right in, they set us up with a loaner vehicle and were great to deal with. The problem was found to be a bad solenoid, but due to my cell phone not working I did not get the estimate until after the cutoff for ordering the part and was told the part would not be in till Monday. I told Bria that I understood and needed the truck fixed and would have to make arrangements to stay longer until the truck was fixed. On Friday morning I was surprised when Bria emailed me and told me they had located the part elsewhere and were sending a driver to pick it up so the truck would be fixed Friday. I cannot express to you how grateful my wife and I are that your staff went above and beyond, they could have waited till the part came Monday but they didn't. This to me shows the professionalism, dedication and caring that your service department and Bria have in making sure they did everything they could to help my wife and I. You have some very special people working in your service department and we thank them and your dealership so much for assisting us in a very stressful situation. Banff in the winter is DIRTY. They treat the snow on the roads with sand, so after a snow fall when…read morethings melt it becomes a muddy mess and it covers your car and your windows. We drove into town during a snow storm and our car just got caked with mud. Even the windows on our rental SUV couldn't withstand the muck. The problem is, everything is so gorgeous in Banff you want to be able to see! So, one day while my husband and I were driving to our next destination, I looked up car washes on Yelp to try and get some of the gunk off so I could enjoy the pretty scenery during the drive. We found Dirty Dog Car & Truck Wash and pulled in. It's a do it yourself station so it does have some pros and cons. Pros: Good pressure, cheap, with big bays so it's easy to maneuver around your vehicle. Cleaned up our car really well. And since the weather held out and stayed sunny and dry, the cleanliness lasted the rest of our trip! Cons: only two stations and they're vertical in relation to each other. So if you're stuck behind someone you have to wait until they clear out so you can leave. Or if they're the first one's in, they're blocking the other washer so you have to wait, or back into the stall. We had a showdown with a very aggressive pick up truck driver as we pulled in. Not pleasant. It's the closest car wash to Banff that I could find, so you're stuck with it no matter what if you want your car spiffed up. But luckily it gets the job done without a lot of money.

We had an issue with the transmission, a couple other shops told us they wouldnt be able to look at the car for over a week. This place was busy as well, with 12+ cars they needed to look at ahead of us. However, they were very understanding of our situation and looked at it ahead of everyone else. The car ended up being totaled in the end but we were extremely grateful at the curiousness and professionalism from this place because as I already stated, we would have found ourselves in a much worse situation without their help.

Napa Autopro - S&S fit us in on a Friday afternoon just before we were to head off camping for the weekend. The repair was quick, effective and was less than $40 which was the most surprising part of the experience when you will just pay anything to be able to get on the road. The staff were funny, helpful and the collection of antique signs around the shop are really cool. They even took the care to road test and re-torque the lug nuts. Who does that nowadays?
