Wolf Pizza is an artisanal wood-fired pizza truck based in Falmouth, Massachusetts that has been running since May 2017. The venture was founded by chef David Haddad. Throughout his culinary journey, Haddad worked in fine dining restaurants in places like New Orleans, Minnesota, and New York, before returning to his hometown of Falmouth. In 2016, he decided to leave his executive chef job in Cape Cod in search of something more. Haddad began to experiment with a naturally leavened dough recipe, he purchased a Fiero Forni mobile wood-fired oven from Italy, and came up with a menu that could delight any palate. Serving up his own spin on neo-Neapolitan pies, Wolf Pizza soon made a splash with appearances at various farmers markets, breweries, wineries, and festivals throughout Cape Cod and the south coast of Massachusetts. In Spring 2018, Haddad's culinary friend Josh Dahl came on board and brought along his expertise from working at Pizzeria Locale in Boulder (CO). In addition to public events, Wolf Pizza can also be booked for private events such as birthdays and weddings. I recently enjoyed some of Wolf Pizza's delicious artisanal pies when I was visiting Untold Brewing in Plymouth. Wolf Pizza was booked to cook up some pies at the brewery that day. I was beyond excited because I've actually been following Wolf Pizza on social media for a number of years, but was never able to sample their pizza on my more recent visits to Cape Cod. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Honey Badger" (ricotta, mozzarella, pistachio pesto, fermented garlic honey). I was very impressed watching the pizzaiolo performing his craft. He slowly and meticulously assembled each pie (about five or so at a time) at his work station. Then he would slide each one into the hot oven and they would be finished in a minute flat. This pizza was FANTASTIC! I loved the cheese blend as well as the flavor kick from the fermented garlic honey. This may have been my first time trying it, but I must say that pistachio pesto is the SUPERIOR pesto! The pizza paired well with my brews at Untold. I'm so happy that I could finally sample Wolf Pizza and I highly recommend them! I hope to run into them again on a future trip to the Cape Cod area! read more

We were thrilled to book Wolf Pizza for my daughter's and her fiancé's engagement party, and they delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was truly spectacular. The charcuterie and Mediterranean boards were beautifully presented works of art that impressed all our guests. The pizzas featured outstanding flavors with high-quality ingredients, and the salads were equally excellent. A week later, my friends are still raving about how delicious everything was (and asking where they can find them for another meal). We had high expectations for the food, having enjoyed their catering at another event the year before and everything even exceeded our expectations. What really delighted us was how wonderful David, David, and Josh were to work with. From our first contact until they finished packing up, they were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and personable. Their enthusiasm was genuine, and their organization was flawless - everything ran smoothly without a hitch. The pricing was very reasonable for the exceptional quality of both food and service we received. Truthfully, it felt like outstanding value for what we got. We would absolutely use Wolf Pizza again without hesitation. If you're looking for catering that combines delicious food with professional, friendly service, I highly recommend them. Hands down best pizza I've had in Cape Cod yet! I tried them while visiting Cape Cod Winery and they were absolutely the best! The wood fired pizza if what dreams are made of! I had ordered off their specials and gotten the Post Malone which was vodka sauce, pesto, heirloom tomato and mozzarella and I'm hooked now! Very unprofessional! Asked for invoice with menu items chosen prior to them charging credit card and was told no. If we are paying $$1850 for a party for 12 people I don't think it's out of this realm to request a receipt and know what we are getting. After they said no and I asked for some type of documentation or contract to solidify our event they canceled on us. Event was four days away. Pizza's good but I used to work at pie in the sky where they would camp out to make pizzas, and they made a roster for who they thought were the hottest girls that worked at the bakery. If u want misogynistic pizza, then this will definitely be your cup of tea. I really hope this roster thing still isn't a thing, but the fact it was at one point is disappointing enough. read more

Wish ZERO stars was an option. This horrible organization catered a beautiful wedding and essentially ruined it. They took food away from the guests and threatened to leave when we asked them to move their car so the bride and groom could make their exit. They were horrible to the bridal party. Incredibly unprofessional catering service. The owner had an attitude the whole night and was absolutely horrible to the wedding party. The owner threatened to walk off the job when he was asked to move his Subaru so that the bride and groom could leave to take pictures. Never have I ever seen a grown man act more childish. As others have said, Wolf Pizza was hired to cater a wedding event and the owner, Dave, was horribly rude and unprofessional. At one point, Dave was asked to move his vehicle so the bride & groom could take pictures in an antique car he had boxed in. As a result of this mild inconvenience, Dave threatened to walk out of the job, verbally abused the wedding coordinator, and started arguing with the wedding party. I wish I was kidding. It was simply outrageous, this man does not deserve to be in business. read more

DO NOT HIRE. The owner, Dave, was an absolute abomination to his employees and the wedding planners who hired him. He was hired for a wedding 9/30/2022 and from the start was outright disrespectful to everyone involved. He refused to cooperate with wedding planners, and when asked to move his vehicle so the wedding party could leave for pictures, threatened to walk off the job. The poor wedding planner was in tears begging him to stay. It was the most unprofessional, awful behavior I have ever seen. I wish I was exaggerating, but this man had his employees begin to take food away from guests in retaliation for a very reasonable request by the wedding party. We booked WOLF PIZZA ta cater a wedding at our beach house last summer on a Tuesday July 5th. We gave a deposit of over 50% of the cost of the catering (1000.00). Bride got real sick and was diagnosed with Covid on Sunday July 3rd. devastating! We immediately informed them that Sunday that we needed to cancel the wedding. Josh informed us they had already bought alll the food for the function. We understood that and asked if we could come down to their business and at least we could drive down and pick up some of the food ie (charcuterie board items, .some pizza ingredients for us to make at home and feed our out of town wedding guests. Josh refused to give us anything and then offered the additional excuse t hat his employees that were working the party took time off of their jobs to work our wedding. We were only looking for "some" food options that he claimed he bought for the 1000.00 loss. During times like these a little kindness would go a long way. Josh refused all requests. There was no contract in place for the wedding and no knowledge of cancelation fees etc. Tough lesson for us. Just eyes wide open when using this company. read more
