While there is nothing 100% certain, his guidance helped me choose the root canal option. He could have done it himself but because I had a crown on the tooth he suggested seeing an Endodontist who could preform the procedure while saving the crown. The root canal was a success! My visit yesterday was to replace the temp filling from the Endodontist with a permanent filling. I'm back to good as new and was able to keep my tooth! BTW - the his staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful every step of the way.

He numbed me and came back about 10 minutes later. From many years experience with dentists, I know when I not numb, so when he started yanking on my tooth, I immediately felt pain and raised my hand. I told him I felt pain, so he gave me more novacaine, but instead of waiting 10 minutes like before, this guy started yanking on the tooth right away! Again, I felt pain, raised my hand and said, "I can still feel that." He was behind me, and I could feel and hear an abrupt move that he made, and then I saw the plastic glasses he was wearing FLYING THROUGH THE AIR AND LANDING ON THE COUNTER ACROSS THE ROOM, followed by him saying, "I'm going to have to come back then!" in an obviously irritated manner. I would NEVER go back to this guy again. He's RUDE!!!

Their staff is extremely friendly and nice and accommodating. I especially like the front desk lady with the brown hair and glasses. She is phenomenal. She is on top of it! I'm only rating 4 stars because when I went in to get my filling at first, I had the Doctor Who had a busted blood vessel in his left eye. He seemed to be under stress. When he did my tooth it looked like SpongeBob. It went by quickly he seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there. Being an advocate of my health, I did request for him to shorten it some more because my tooth was clearly wider and larger than the left tooth. He did just that. And asked me to bite down, I bit but my bite felt different. He said that my bite should adjust. So I went along that weekend and I tried to eat later that day, and it was very hard for me to eat. I tried to speak and say certain words, but my mouth couldn't form it. This is just from two teeth getting done. It was uncomfortable. I called them and complained because there was too much composite on my teeth and I couldn't function properly. So I went back in the following week and Dr. Hannah took care of me. They shaved down my teeth some more so that my mouth could close properly. It worked! I have been extremely pleased since then. I am happy they were able to see me again and fix everything. All in all if the doctors are under stress, they shouldn't be at work and they should never try to rush people out of there. I appreciate the doctors that I've had there that take their time and accommodate me patiently.

I was there for a cleaning, and the hygienist (Christina) wanted to do a procedure I asked her not to. She insisted, I said no a second time. I had to say no 4 times, and then she said I should see the "other hygienist" next time I come. Today I went it for some major work. The doctor recommended I see an oral surgeon. I was fine with that. But I couldn't get an appointment with the recommended oral surgeons anytime soon. I asked if I could speak to the doctor again, I would wait. I really needed help getting an appointment with an oral surgeon. I'm in pain, and can't wait a month to see someone. Michele, the dental assistant who was talking with me, told me I was yelling. I was not. She said her feelings were hurt because I said no one would help me, and she did get me a few more names. She said she had gone over and above what she normally would. Getting names of a few oral surgeons is over and above? She told me I could call any oral surgeon (I know that). I would also mention that our conversation should have taken place in private. Not in the waiting room. Michele turned her back on me and shut the door in my face. Way to go, UrgentDent. This shows complete lack of respect and professionalism And I've been a patient there for many years. While I think the world of Dr. Nik, I'll be looking for a new dental practice. Dr. Moody tried to fit a permanent crown on my implant and tried several different sizes. He commented that if the last one didn't fit he would have to special order one. He left me with the last one and said it was good. I was there in March of 2024 for a cleaning. I told his associate the implant was hurting/ bothering me. He said 'Good news! It's NOT infected." Yet he gave me an antibiotic rinse to use for 3 months. Then I came back in May to have new crowns put on when Dr. Moody said, " your implant is severely infected. We have to pull it all out, post and all." That experience was sooo traumatic, I hadn't been back to a dentist in 2 years. They tried to get me to sign papers for payment before pulling it. I refused stating it was their fault. They agreed not to charge me. They were supposed to fill another tooth that day, which they did not, but chMarge's me anyhow. Then. I can honestly say that Dr. Laila Malaki completely exceeded my expectations. She extracted my two lower wisdom teeth with incredible skill and precision. I experienced very little to no pain or discomfort immediately after the procedure and throughout my recovery. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Malaki was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which gave me a great deal of confidence and peace of mind. I told them up front that they should use my hand because people have issues giving me injections through my arm. They proceeded to stick me in both arms multiple times before resorting to using my hand like I told them. The doctor was condescending about me not bringing my inhaler, which I was never told to bring with me over the phone. After the extraction, I had an extreme amount of swelling and was never scheduled for a follow up appointment. I started having severe pain in the following week, for which the painkillers I was given (Tylenol 3) were not working. In the second week of healing, I called and explained that I was having severe pain and wanted to speak to the surgeon over the phone because I could not afford to keep taking days off work. I was told I would not be allowed to speak to her and would be required to come in. I was then told I could not be scheduled until the next week, despite my pain (it was giving me migraines and I couldn't sleep more than 2 to 3 hours a night). The front desk woman did not care in the slightest. I was on the verge of tears on the call because it truly was that serious and she acted like I was inconveniencing her by explaining my experience. When I made it into the office finally, Dr. Malaki looked at me, told me the socket was healing well, I was having this reaction because I'm a woman and my hormones can mess with the healing, and that I should have just called and spoke to her over the phone if that was more convenient than coming in. In summary, don't go here. My partner got an extraction of THREE TEETH compared to my one tooth and had nowhere near as much swelling or pain. They distinctly ruined my ability to have faith in dental professionals and if I thought I had grounds to sue, I would.
