Would like to start by saying Mike is the best lawyer I have ever dealt with. Very upfront, very responsive, fair pricing, and gets the job done! I was dealing with daily issues at my current residence and Mike gave me great legal advice and assistance in getting me out of my lease scot free. Highly recommend using Mike for any legal services he provides, as he executes his cases perfectly in favor of his clients. read more

The best attorney I've ever dealt with. Mike is not your average money hungry attorney. He cares about his clients and gets you the best result without breaking the bank. Just an overall down to earth guy. Miss you, Mike! read more

I think Mr. Wolder is the confused person here. I looked up his reply (mentioned in his response to my review) in my saved emails, and what he said was this: Subject: RE: Message from Brian M. for Wolder & Associates, APC Michael W. Owner Hi Brian, I think you will need to consult a NH attorney for this. Mike I am in NH. The property in question is in CA. The whole point of why I was seeking a CA attorney was that I needed someone well versed in CA real estate law, especially Prop 13 law. So for him to say I needed a NH attorney (who would know nothing about CA RE law and Prop 13 law) was exactly the opposite of what I needed, and showed he was not exactly on top of things, either then or later in his response to the review. As for "I do not handle that type of law" in the review response, their web site lists "REAL ESTATE" as one of the areas of expertise for Attorney Michael K. Wolder. So I think there's more "confusion" here, too, either in the initial query response or the review response. read more

An attorney who does not read documents, resulting in thousands of dollars in damages! We used him for years and every time was assured everything was ok. Horrible!!! read more

I just want to update this and say that Mr. Wolder was so helpful and kind during all our interactions. He helped me resolve the issue with my neighbors and I couldn't be more grateful! I have never needed to hire a lawyer except to create a living trust, so I wasn't sure where to start. My neighbors are lawyers and have decided to make life difficult for me. I didn't know what to do, and I was afraid that if I responded to their threats in the wrong way it might have devastating financial consequences for myself and my family. I decided it was time to hire a lawyer. I was scared, because you never know how much these things will cost. I read Yelp reviews and emailed three attorneys. I think finding Mr. Wolder was nothing short of a miracle. Within an incredibly short period of time, this man has helped me so much. Things for you to know: -His prices are fair -He replies promptly -He quickly develops an understanding of the situation -He knows just what to say to turn angry, threatening neighbors into polite people! -He is very personable I can be a critical person, but I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this man. I am happy to give him the highest recommendation. I would give him ten stars if I could. It feels good knowing that if I ever need legal representation in the future, I now know an attorney I trust whom I can call on for help. Just having that knowledge is so reassuring read more

A breath of fresh air in the legal profession is an understatement. Mr. Wolder has been my go to for real estate advice for the past couple years. Anytime I reach out, he responds promptly with an easy to understand, knowledgeable answer. A few years ago, I tried to speak with an attorney for the first time, paid $450 for an hour just to have an initial conversation that led no where. Shortly after, I found Mr. Wolder on Yelp. He discussed the issue with me and gave me advice before we discussed any kind of cost. I mention that to show he's not after your money, he truly wants to help. For that, he has my trust. He's still my go-to guy for any real estate related matters. Highly recommend! read more

Many thanks to Wolder and Associates, as our counsel and arranging the mediation between our Property Manager and the Landlord with regards to our Security Deposit. We highly recommend this company for their dependable, reliable & trustworthy. Here it is, we were so frustrated and disappointed with the outcome of our deposit upon receiving the final accounting resulting only to a portion to none remaining deposit. As a tenant we know our responsibility. We took care of the house carefully and we left it as is when we first moved in. We knew that we are being played and cheated by the Management and the Landlord. We do not know what to do after communicating, questioning how the deduction made by the Management. My husband decided to look for a legal counsel or a lawyer who can help us resolve our concern. We were so blessed and grateful that Attorney Michael Wolder responded immediately. His legal strategy and counsel was so impressive that the Property Manager responded immediately after his first letter. We were so relieved knowing that we already won it. The Property Management called me up to arrange the return of our security deposit worth 2,905 out of 3,000. Not only that Wolder and Associates extended their help till we receive the money for sure. It only took 15 days to resolve and receive our cash deposit. Again we wanted to extend our gratitude to Wolder and Associates in believing and taking care of us. This means so much to us. Their expertise and hard work was very commendable. I believe that we could not be in better hands without their help read more

I'm very happy with my experience with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward, as well as responsive. Mr. Wolder is a breath of fresh air in the legal profession. He's responsive which is so important but more importantly is his ultra-confident approach to the legal challenge. Many attorneys play it too safe (the self-preservation game) with "well it depends" answers leaving you stressed and allowing the issue too much room for negotiation or interpretation within the law. Mr. Wolder gives definitive and clear answers which indicate he will go to the mat and pursue the issue with confidence. Too many attorneys leave the outcome up to the participants in the process causing clients anxiety. Mr. Wolder's confidence and experience adds a level of trust that is not all that common anymore. read more

Mike Wolder is Trust worthy, reliable, with integrity and down to earth. I had a situation that I attempted to resolve on my own to no avail. I felt that my situation was hopeless and I would be forced to "fold" with a very unrealistic insurance company. All I wanted was a realistic assessment from the insurance adjuster. (I'm guessing that insurance companies are NOT about helping victims.) I was literally forced to find an attorney to assist and give the insurance company a "reality check." I called several attorneys but didn't feel comfortable or that I was getting a fair deal from them. I began to ask family and friends for a recommendation. A family friend told me about Attorney Mike Wolder. I met Mike over the telephone and was impressed from the start. Mike gave me a sense of "I Got This" right from the beginning. He was knowledgeable, kind, reliable and respectful of my input. He personally contacted me when necessary and kept me informed at every turn of our case. My perception of attorneys has forever been changed because of Mike. I'm happy with our outcome and most happy to recommend Mike without any reservations to all in YELP-Landia. read more

Mike then took the time to review my case and was able to help me formulate a plan and provide me with guidance for moving forward. His quick replies and updates really set him apart from any attorney I've dealt with. We had a wonderful experience with Wolder & Associates. When our apartment flooded and caused a mold problem for my family and our management company started dragging their feet to rectify the situation, we contacted Michael. He was extremely helpful and accessible. After an initial conversation by phone, we were given advise on the best way to handle our situation. Michael helped us create an inventory of all of our affected items and drafted a letter listing our demands and sent it to the management company's legal department. It took a lot of patience and repeated efforts to get the management company to comply, but I firmly believe that we would still be dealing with this issue 2 months later had it not been for MIchael's perseverance and willingness to help us with our situation. I would highly recommend Wolder & Associates APC to anyone in need of legal assistance! read more

Early June of 2015 one of my sons was involved in a trash can fire at the apartments Where we live. After the investigation the renters office served us with a 60 day notice to vacate then after we tried to fix this matter in our own the management told us the 60 day notice was still standing. We have been living here for 17 years and it would have been bad for us to have if it wasn't for Mike. I was searching on google for someone in real estate law and I found Mr. Mike Wolder. Once I had explained to Mike what happened I had appointment with him that same day and we exchanged emails . With all his help I am very proud to say we are able to continue living in our apartment. Last year, in late June early July, I experienced a very traumatic episode. I left my apartment for a night to go camping with my family. I came home to my apartment being completely flooded. It was literally "raining" inside my apartment. The tenant that lived above us had just moved out and did some modifications to his plumbing and cause a huge leak. Everything in my apartment was floating, damaged, and completely soaked. Thankfully, the only rooms that were not destroyed was my boys' room and the living room. As you can imagine, we were very worried and feeling vulnerable. Our home was destroyed! We advised to pick up what we could (clothes, etc.) and stay at a hotel until the repairs could be made and our apartment was once again, livable. Insurance was involved pretty much immediately. Our apartment complex does not require us to carry "renters insurance". We were dealing with a 3rd party insurance claim. They were making me feel as though the flood was my fault and because I did not have renters insurance, most of my damaged property would not be covered. Mind you, my mattress, my work clothes, shoes, towels, linen- everything was molded and soaked within a day. Maintenance from our complex had just thrown all of our property into a pile, in a bathtub, and it sat there for days, turning into a moldy science project. I needed to be sure my belongings would be replaced and that I would be compensated for my food/hotel stay. I immediately started searching for a lawyer. I needed some general questions answered and I needed to know what my rights were, as a tenant. It's easy to feel intimidated by insurance agents, who deal with these sort of claims all the time. Doing a Google search for a lawyer, in my local area, I found Wolder and Associates. A gentleman answered the phone and his name was Mike. I began to explain my situation to him and this is what he said, "Well, that doesn't seem right. Send me the information you have, let me look it over and I'll get back to you tomorrow." To be honest, I didn't think he was going to call me back or get involved. I was just some girl with a problem and he was an established lawyer with a huge calendar of big time cases. He has no time for me... but to my surprise, he had emailed me, first thing, that next morning. Mike and I had went over our course of action and we went forward with a letter to the insurance company and I had Wolder & Associates in my corner to help me fight for my claim. Mike reassured me that this was a simple case and once the investigation was completed that I would, most likely, win my case. He was amazing at keeping in touch with me, giving me updated information and status reports. Every time we exchanged emails, he never left me waiting. He was so responsive and THERE for me! It was such an incredible service he provided to me. In the end, I did WIN my claim and I owe it all to Mike and his firm, Wolder and Associates. I don't think I would have been able to handle this case on my own and I am so thankful to Google for connecting me to the right person. If I could leave a 10 star rating, I certainly would!! They deserve it, hands down! Call Wolder and Associates and ask for Mike. He is simply THE BEST!!!!! Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Mike, if you get around to reading this- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! read more

In 2015, my wife and I embarked on a major home remodel. Unfortunately, we made a really bad choice in the General Contractor that we hired. Our agreement had fixed prices for each component. This incentivized the contractor to go as cheap as possible in the build to maximize his profit. The project was estimated at one year for completion. After one month, our contractor hired an inexperience demo guy to cut footer and plumbing trenches in our post tension slab. They cut long intersecting trenches without leaving support over the cables. The slab imploded on itself. Contrary to what all the post tension slab experts stated, the contractor insisted that it could be repaired. He denied any responsibility and insisted that we were locked into contract despite open ended change orders that would be necessary for moving forward. After getting nowhere on our own, we knew we would need to hire an Attorney. This time we were not going to make the same mistake. We spoke to many attorneys. We contacted referrals from friends and family and attorneys we found online. We told our story many times and heard many ideas and approaches. Both my wife and I spoke to Mike Wolder at separate times. We knew he was the correct choice. This time we were right. He never cut corners and always had a solid and honest response to the opposing council's dialog. He helped keep us grounded as this situation grew frustrating. He was always fair with us. Everything was always upfront and honest and we never felt like he was leading us on. He gave us a legal leg to stand on and allowed us to make the choices on how we wanted to pursue the matter. Mike is more than just a legal counsel. He is a real guy. In the end we ended up going to mediation. Although he was sick as a dog that day, he still showed up and represented us strong and we settled at a reasonable restitution. I would never wish such a stressful situation as ours on anyone. I would, and will, recommend Mike Wolder for any legal matter that needs strong and honest representation. read more
