Eventually, the EEOC gave me a date--three months out. Then, out of nowhere, the firm called and said they were no longer considering representing me. Seriously? This entire experience gave me false hope and wasted a lot of my time. I followed their instructions, trusted their guidance, and ended up right back at square one--without representation and stuck dealing with the EEOC, which already has a reputation for being slow and unhelpful. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone.

My question is how did they pull his name and address out of all the other people who actually live in the city that it was filed? We don't live anywhere close to that city. These types of lawyers just pull up random cases without any research on the individual and cause unnecessary stress and anxiety. I do not care if it is an ad, their scare tactics are scummy behavior. Do better!

This puts recipients in the position of ignoring that information or paying for court records (~$20) to investigate whether it is actually them or someone with the same name. A professional law firm is equipped to investigate on their end at a lower cost (e.g. knowing which pages of which records to pull to cross-reference an address, likely lowering the court record cost to $1-2) prior to sending targeted letters. Kazerouni Law Group does not bother, they have likely done a cost-benefit calculation that marks this level of diligence as not worth their time and money. They prefer that the recipients of their ads shoulder the higher cost.

We waited 6 WEEKS for the police report, where the reporting officer found him "at fault" after interviewing JUST 1 witness and the driver, who said he was in the intersection. Not wanting to spend $$$ to retain a lawyer, we waited to see what kind of settlement amount the insurance would offer. We were then bullied by the insurance adjuster who convinced my fiancée that since he was found "at fault", they owed us nothing. We contacted a well-advertised billboard lawyer who told us we had "no case" because he had been found "at fault." Feeling dejected at a low moment of exasperation, my fiancée signed a settlement agreement of $10,000 as he was told "that's all you're going to get because you were found at fault." I literally got home :20 after he signed. I was furious and this let to a lot of fights between us. I found John Rajee of RMD Law on Yelp as a lot of reviews said he handled "difficult situations." He was kind and professional but also understood human nature and the whole dilemma we faced- trying to get a contract invalidated AND attempt to re-settle with the insurance company. He also advised me on different ways MY auto insurance could help even though my fiancée was on a bicycle. Although John consulted other colleagues to discover ways to secure a better settlement, ultimately nothing could be legally done to get the settlement contract negated :( Unfortunately, my fiancée and I had to move forward with accepting the circumstance. Through all these developments, John kept advising us and was professional and thorough. He advised me as an experienced counselor and also just an honest guy who took the time to reassure me that basically it wasn't the end of the world. Frankly, I was very very angry with my fiancée over his moronic decision to sign, and speaking to John just honestly helped me move past my anger and put the whole bad situation behind me. I would absolutely recommend John and his colleagues to anyone seeking legal advisement, and I will definitely refer him to friends and family. Even if you just need an answer or two, PLEASE contact RMD before signing anything, taking action, or accepting offers. They absolutely will help!

I learned a lot about small claims court along the way because I had dropped the ball on my case, even if it was thru no fault of my own. John was easy to talk to and gave me the time needed. That said, off the top I maybe saved $50 overall and potentially more because of no DMV points which would likely raise my insurance so that's really good! Things got worse when we had to write up the eviction documents. He misspelled the defendant's name four times in two forms! That could've gotten the whole thing thrown out and wasted another two weeks. When I pointed out these mistakes, he tried to blame me for writing the original notice. He is the lawyer here, right? The final straw was when I asked for my money back. He said he mailed a check, but when I asked which address he sent it to (he had two on file), he just ghosted me. Totally unprofessional. So for him to say I needed a NH attorney (who would know nothing about CA RE law and Prop 13 law) was exactly the opposite of what I needed, and showed he was not exactly on top of things, either then or later in his response to the review. As for "I do not handle that type of law" in the review response, their web site lists "REAL ESTATE" as one of the areas of expertise for Attorney Michael K. Wolder. So I think there's more "confusion" here, too, either in the initial query response or the review response.

I repeatedly had to follow up for basic updates, and important work I expected to be completed was not filed during the representation. The draft documents I received contained errors and required correction. After I terminated the representation and requested a refund, I was first told there would be an accounting/refund, then later offered a split of the retainer. After I disputed the work, I received an invoice claiming the entire $5,000 retainer was used and that I owed an additional $2,142.50. I also disputed several billing entries because they appeared duplicative, unsupported, or related to communications where I was simply asking for updates. I am now pursuing the appropriate fee dispute process and have requested documentation supporting the invoice. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.
