We were so lucky to have found them. I had a consult with Michael which led us to the amazing Jennifer Kim. Jennifer has worked so incredibly hard for both my child and I. I could not have survived this without her. Being the parent of a violent crime victim and being further victimized by the LA.DA office is a fate that i do not wish upon anyone. Jennifer made this process so much easier and we were able to get the justice and peace that we needed to go on with our lives and heal. I plan to keep this firm on retainer should my child need advice or any other form of advocacy in the future. Jennifer is so compassionate, kind and fair. We consider her like family now and will be forever grateful to her.

After much searching, I was referred to AWB Law by another attorney. Anthony and Jamie worked quickly, no time wasted, patiently answering questions, even when I repeated myself as I needed reassurance throughout the process. Several solutions were offered as the situation was ever-evolving. The end result was an earlier-than-expected exit of the tenant. I couldn't put a price on the peace of mind that AWB Law has given me...simply invaluable.

I had a very disappointing experience with this law firm, mainly because of poor communication,…read morelack of coordination, and a lack of transparency about who was actually handling my case. Before signing the retainer agreement, I specifically asked how quickly they could move forward with serving the notice. I was told approximately 3-4 days. Based on that representation, I signed the agreement. However, after four days, instead of the matter moving forward, I received another call simply to schedule a phone conversation for several days later. I also explained the facts of my case multiple times by email and phone. Despite that, important basic information about the property and my situation did not seem to be clearly understood or communicated internally. At one point, I was even called by the wrong name. That alone would not have been a major issue, but combined with everything else, it raised concerns about how carefully my case was being handled. Another major concern was transparency. During this process, I was communicating by phone and email with several different people at the firm, yet I could not find information about some of them on the firm's website. The website prominently presents Mr. Anthony Burton, so when I retained the firm, I naturally assumed he would have significant involvement in my case. Instead, I found myself communicating with other people whose roles, experience, and backgrounds were not clear to me. For a legal matter, especially a time-sensitive one, I believe clients should know exactly who is handling their case and what that person's qualifications and responsibilities are. Unfortunately, my experience did not give me the level of confidence I expected when hiring a law firm. I hope the firm improves its internal communication, transparency about its team, and the expectations it gives clients before they sign a retainer agreement.

Good people are out there in this world and Mark Chatow is definitely a professional I would refer to everyone. Thank you, Mark and happy holidays! With gratitude, Denise

I am a father who was falsely accused of a serious felony, jailed, and then had the charges…read morerejected by the DA only for the same allegations to be carried into family court that very day. I was isolated from my child's school, medical records, and even asked to notify a foreign embassy. I lived under extreme isolation, my time stolen, forced into 11 months of supervised visits just 6 hours a week under a TRO. Through all of this, I fought for my child and was left alone by everyone except Simon and Merve. They stood by me when nobody else did. Thank you, Simon. Thank you, Merve. You are the best. I worked with Simon during a very difficult and complex family law case. I have seen many attorneys during my journey and with respect to freedom of speech, I can honestly call most of them clowns. Simon is the only real trial attorney i have seen in my experience. My former attorney was lazy, incompetent, manipulative, and refused to file my counterclaim in a DV hearing. He charged me $35k while gaslighting me, putting fear in me, and ignoring my evidence even though I was the victim and had serious criminal court level evidences in my favor. I told him my child was in danger, but he did not care at all. After I fired him, he even sent my personal notes to opposing counsel. He nearly allowed my child to be kidnapped during trial if I had accepted his manipulation. Simon and Merve were completely different. They saw reality, experienced about how the system works, and fought for me and my child. From the beginning I told them I didn't care about myself everything was about protecting my child. Simon and Merve listened, shared my concerns, and kept me informed every step of the way. He has a heart, and even though the legal system often runs on cold templates, he has lived through enough to show real empathy while still being sharp, strategic, and aggressive when needed. Merve is the sweetest person, and as a parent herself, she gave me emotional support during the most difficult time of my life . or 11 months, I was limited to supervised visits -- just 6 hours a week. It was hell. They helped me endure that period and ultimately secured my freedom and my child's safety. They cleared my name, secured the protection my child and I deserve, and moved the case forward even though the opposing side constantly delayed, lied, and tried to abuse the process. Simon is extremely detailed, naturally strategic, and puts in real effort for his clients. Do not expect him to be cheap, but he is worth it if your life and your children's safety are on the line. Merve Degirmencioglu was also deeply involved. I admire her intelligence, her strategic thinking, and her genuine care for children above all. Together, they are an excellent team. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate Simon and Merve. They gave me back my voice, my dignity, and most importantly, my child's safety.

TRUST! Expert knowledge. Professional. Humble Butt-kicker. Jedi…read more Those are my word choices reflecting back on how I feel about Brian Bayati. Not your average review for a WAY above average legal pro. Here's my experience with Brian's performance. After firing my first lawyer due to the fees not adding up to the work supposedly done, I sought much better counsel. No one wins in divorce. No one. Given the complexities of my case, Brian was recommended by a huge, well-known, multi-lawyer OC firm, but I wanted skilled one-on-one service with master-level guidance. Though my divorce could have been easier, the Ex did financial shenanigans going back 10+ years that without Brian's smart and strategic, surgical approach, would have cost me a lot more in real money, stress, and outcome. His 360 degree awareness, proactive chess-master anticipation of the "other side's" tactics, and hate-to-pay-it-but-damn-glad-I-did reasonable fee structure all added-up to me feeling absolutely assured I had someone in my corner that sincerely had my back. He genuinely cares and proves it in the work. Brian, if you see this, you know I hope to never use you again! ;) But damn, brother, I'm so glad I hired you!! Keep up the stellar expertise and outcomes.
