Was going to get dim sum but even though their hours posted on yelp said they were open they ignored us when we walked in so we thought we'd give this place a try. We had the Pho Beef Special and the Grilled Beef and Chicken Bun. The soup was a bit oily and salty and the beef was nothing to write home about. But maybe they like their soup that way here. I was expecting a lot more food for the grilled meats and bun. It was okay but nothing made it stand out. The service was nice but sadly the food was mediocre. I'm a bit of a pho snob though coming from the SF Bay Area and I will admit my favorite pho shop is in Colorado (who would have thought!?).

Pork broth base with lemongrass and pork and beef flanks and noodles. First off, the broth was very fishy-tasting and the pork was just grizzle and to top all that off there was a bone fragment-the size of a toonie. Pooh has the Grilled Chicken P.8 soup. It was delish!!! We ended up sharing his and mine was flushed- the bone went in the garbage. The Imperial Rolls are usually great but last night, super chewy and the Fried Raviolis were cold and a wee bit chewy. It was like this meal wasn't prepared with love

I'm kind of shocked by the poor or mediocre reviews here. In fact, when I ate this meal I remember thinking to myself how much I wish there was a Restaurant Amir near where I live so I could eat it more often. If you enjoy Lebanese and Middle Eastern food, Amir is a great spot with quick service and very decent prices. I would return in a heart-beat.

At first I was surprised by the size of the sandwich. It was too small to be considered as a full meal. I got it as a small meal to hold me off until dinner. The lady in the phone was very nice and…read moreeven asked if I would like to have the sub with pizza dough, I decided to go with the standard bread just to see how it compares to other places. Everything tasted very good and seem to use quality ingredients, the pizza had a cinnamon type flavor which makes it different. Everything tasted freshly made. The pizza was made the old traditional way with a more juicy pie and not dry crust, just the way I like it, I don't like the dry, hard crusts. The sub was made with a toasted bun, mine was a bit burnt along the sides which I had to cut off to avoid that taste in my food. Quality for money 8/10, the food was very good and the ingredients reflected that. Quantity for money 7/10, I received a thin pizza and a burnt bun that was not completely full, maybe they had a bad night, but that was my first experience.
