Was no not expecting mush when I can here honestly only went in because all the pho restaurants I wanted to try where closed and I was close to this one and they where open. Came here with my father we took the combo because it's Monday the second one is half price. Soup starter was the soup you find in most vitamanes restaurant they just call it house soup was very average not bad or great . Then we got done spring rolls also not the best or worse I every had maybe add more meat and less carrots. The main was beef and shrimp with the vitamanes style noodles. The beef was really good shrimp was also good but not as good as the beef. I'll would give them 3.5 stars but I can't and I feel 4 would be to high of an over score. It's a decent price for 2 people but I feel there are many other better vitamanes restaurant.

I wrote a review for this place that magically disappeared. Went in a few months back and took some take-out. It wasn't very good. Service was OK, price tag was too expensive for what it's worth.

For what it has to offer on the island of franchises, it's a nice gem to visit on occasio in Laval. This placed recently changed names from Chez Tung to Maison Minh (new ownership) and the decor was upgraded. The interior of the resto is clean and Asian themed. The service is friendly, chill even and both times the whole experience went by fast. The process of sitting down to order food. then the foot prep to being served your food takes about 15 minutes. This makes it a great as a lunch option. Lemon water is served. First meal I enjoyed was a won ton soup followed by peanut butter chicken with crispy spinach. The second time it was grilled chicken and beef with side vermicelli and spring roll. Everything was on-point and packed with flavor. Portions are generous. The menu is thick with recipes with "table d'hote" and "lunch express" options. Variety is plentiful except for Bahn Mi..... WHY CAN'T ANYONE MAKE BAHN MI IN LAVALLLLLL. Priced tag is ok. Will be back.

The Long Version: My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our most recent trip to Laval. They have a lunch combo for $12.50 for the banh mi of the day, a spring roll and a drink (bottle of water or a can of soda). You can upgrade your drink to a bubble tea for an additional $5. It was a Friday, so the banh mi of the day was the Traditional, which is essentially mixed cold cuts. We got a combo each. My husband got a bottle of water and I upgraded my drink to a bubble che (more on that later). You get a choice of a chicken spring roll or a vegetarian spring roll. We both chose the former. They bake their bread on-site and the bread is a legit banh mi baguette crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The banh mi was good, but the pork belly was sooooo fatty. I know some people like this, but I do not. I had to pick it out. It comes with different Vietnamese cold cuts including the one that is made of pork belly, pickled carrots, daikon radish and cucumbers as well as pâté, Vietnamese mayo (which is more like an aioli) and cilantro. We asked them to hold the cilantro, but they forgot. Not a big deal for us because it was easy to pick out. Just wastage on their part. Other than the fatty pork belly, I enjoyed the sandwich. The spring roll was hot and crispy and had ground chicken and vegetables in it. We chose sweet and sour dipping sauce, but there's the option for fish sauce as well. The bubble che is like a cross between bubble tea and the Vietnamese dessert che. It was chock-full of toppings which I loved. It had tapioca pearls, coconut jelly, grass jelly, red beans and toasted peanuts and coconut milk. It was really rich with a lot of different textures. I felt the amount of peanuts was excessive for my tastes and the crunchiness was bordering on weird. However, the toasted peanuts added this toasty smell to the drink which I oddly liked. I might request less peanuts next time. Definitely a drink for those already familiar with Vietnamese che or for the adventurous. I can see how it would not be to everyone's taste. Staff were courteous. There was a bit of a wait because they were very busy with orders, including lots of food delivery app orders. Sandwich makers wore gloves, which I appreciated. They also sell vermicelli or rice bowls and noodle soups. They have a small selection of imported Asian snacks, candies, ramen packages and bubble tea ingredients. They have an area to eat-in too. They are located in a small plaza and there is free parking in the plaza parking lot. Review #91 (2025)
