It's a nice touch that you don't see very often. I ordered the three-taco pack: carne asada and chicken fajita on flour tortillas, and the gringo on a corn tortilla. I started with the carne asada, followed by the chicken fajita and the gringo. The first few bites were promising, but overall, I was a bit underwhelmed. The tacos all seemed to lack seasoning, and even with the mango salsa--which definitely helped--they were still on the dry side. They're still new, so I'm sure they'll continue making adjustments and fine-tuning things over the next few months. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would be willing to give them another try down the road.

I was genuinely excited to try this place because it's part of the UKraft brand, but unfortunately,…read moreit was a huge disappointment. We ordered the nachos, several tacos, and a salad. The nachos came out with three times more chips than toppings. We ordered with chicken, and there couldn't have been more than about 1/8 cup of chicken on the entire tray. The jalapeños were pickled rather than fresh, and the nachos were served cold. The salad was beautifully presented, but again--where was the chicken? There was barely any protein, and despite looking great, the salad itself lacked flavor. The tacos were probably the biggest disappointment. Everything was incredibly greasy, and I'm honestly not sure why. The birria taco was so greasy that it was inedible. Across the board, the food just lacked flavor. The staff wasn't rude, but there was also very little sense of care or attention, and unfortunately that seemed to carry over into the dining space as well. The amount of food wasn't necessarily the issue--it was the lack of protein, flavor, and overall execution. For the price, it felt honestly like a rip off. I really wanted to like this place, especially given the UKraft connection, but based on this experience, I can't recommend it.

Our go-to for a quick, no-fuss meal out with the kids when we want something better than fast food…read more A few years ago, they remodeled this Columbia location into an order-at-the-counter setup, and it does make it easy when we want to get in and out quickly, or if we want to meet up with friends, order separately, and find a seat. Very friendly staff and always patient and understanding with my kids when they have special requests. The food is good. Guacamole is fresh, and they have all of the dishes and combos you would expect to see. Good margaritas by the glass or pitcher and all the chips. (I think the rice is one of the saltier things on the menu - I'm thirsty in the middle of the night if I order it...) For something different, try the torta sandwich! They also cater- a friend ordered from here for one of their parties, and the food was great. Everyone could make their own combinations with steak or chicken and all of the sides. Something to keep in mind!

The tacos came out fast ensuring you were able to eat, drink and still make that concert!

They get their bread from a bakery in Tampa so it has an authentic Cuban sandwich taste and texture. My last time in I ordered the Arroz con Pollo, really enjoyed the rice is spiced or cooked in a broth that makes it very delicious. Lechón asado is also a favorite. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night, were seated right away, and our food came out surprisingly quickly. There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived, but by the time we left, the restaurant was packed with only one table still open! We started with the empanadas and tried the beef & cheese and chorizo. The beef & cheese empanadas were amazing -- perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside with a delicious filling. The chorizo wasn't our favorite because it was very greasy, and unfortunately the grease overpowered most of the other flavors. We also tried the Tostones Salsosos, which were good and much larger than we expected! For our entrées, we ordered the Tampa Cuban sandwich with yucca, and we were blown away by the size of the sandwich! It was massive, flavorful, and definitely a generous portion. The yucca on the side was good as well. But the ropa vieja was the star of the show! Every bite was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. We added a side of Congri rice, which was also incredibly flavorful and robust and paired perfectly with it. Overall, we had a great experience. Quick service, generous portions, authentic Cuban flavors, and several dishes we would absolutely order again. The ropa vieja and beef & cheese empanadas are must-tries!

The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the ordering process was a little confusing. The staff was very nice, but it felt like they could have used a couple more people working that day. They even brought us a complimentary vegetarian taco, which was a nice touch! Once we ordered, our food came out within about 15 minutes. The tacos were good, flavorful, and the salsa was great. I think our experience may have just come down to staffing that day. They arrived right around 6:15 PM and were set up and ready to go within 15 minutes. Super efficient and professional from the start. For the entire two hours I was there, they had a steady line which honestly made me so happy for them because they truly deserved it. The staff was kind, upbeat, and just genuinely pleasant to interact with. You could tell they cared about the experience just as much as the food. The menu was small, which I personally loved no overthinking, just straight to the good stuff! Their combo options were perfect for trying a bit of everything. The tacos were amazing, and even my kids couldn't get enough. The cheese quesadilla was a big hit too!
