I had been waiting for this place to open! We like UKRAFT (same group owns both) and we LOVE Mexican food! We went on a Sunday night and while it wasn't crowded, there was a decent number of people there. They do have "patio" seating. It's right by the parking lot, but they have tables out there with umbrellas on them. It was a little humid and we don't love sitting by a parking lot so we chose to dine inside. You have the option of ordering and paying through a QR code or putting a number on your table and a server will come take your order. We had just been looking at the menu for two minutes and a server came to take our order (we hadn't put a number up on our table, but she came anyway). We ordered drinks and a starter and continued to look at the menu. Our server was great - we recognized her from UKRAFT! She answered some questions about the menu and then we ordered. The food came out pretty fast. I'm glad we waited to order so we had time to have our starter. We ordered the chip trio - salsa, guacamole, and queso. The queso has red pepper flakes on top of it and it added a nice little heat. The salsa was good. The guacamole was good, but there was a big chunk of avocado in it. These items are served in small bowls. We didn't get a lot of guacamole, we got some and then an avocado chunk. I think it needs to be mashed up a bit more. The queso should have been hotter than it was - it was lukewarm, but I was hungry and just ate it the way it was. My husband got three tacos - Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and the Gringo. He said they were good, but that the Gringo had way too much sour cream on it. I love sour cream, but I have to agree with him! It was a lot. I got the Pambazo torta and did not like it at all. The bottom was soggy. The stuff between the bread was a very earthy tasting mash of I don't even know what. Chorizo was mentioned but I didn't taste it. To me, it was inedible. Someone else may be into it. I did enjoy my cocktail! The service was great and the place looks really nice! We'll definitely be back, but I'll order something else.

There are going to be growing pains. So, first visit, first impressions. Right off the bat I'm giving a four star although it deserves a three. I'm adding the extra star because I feel like once they really get up and running it might be there. Stay tuned for a second review. First let's get the simple things out of the way. Unlike Tacos 4 Life, which is the location this took over, this has sit down, please wait to be seated, table service if you so choose. You have the option of ordering with a server or ordering and paying yourself through a QR code located on the table. Inside or patio dining. The patio looks very comfortable and overlooks the parking lot. There are two entrances, take out on the left, host/ess stand on the right. We ordered several dishes to try some things out. Birria Rangoon, street corn Rangoon orders as well as the guacamole and chip apps. We were there for happy hour (not sure of the hours) so apps were half off - sort of. The happy hour prices don't apply to the Rangoons or wings. For mains we got a birria taco, an Al pastor, a gringo taco (ground beef), and an order of shrimp ceviche. Ok......*deep breath* Guac- chips are fresh, very good, guessing made in-house. The guacamole was fresh, cold, and, I'm sure, made in-house as well. The issue we had with the guac was that although it had jalapeño, there was no heat and we didn't find it particularly flavorful. It needed salt, for sure, as did the chips, as did most of the food. That is our opinion, if you are not a salt fan then maybe this is for you. The guacamole, as seen in the picture, is mashed more than it is chunked. Not a good thing or bad thing, it's just their style. The rangoons were nice and freshly fried. Stuffed full of cream cheese, served with a side sauce. The birria with its signature jus, the street corn sauce...was I'm not sure. But the better of the two. The shrimp ceviche....what to say. The presentation is great. Very nice, served in a stemmed cup/glass/bowl. Nice and cool BUT, and this is a huge but, I THINK the shrimp is cooked in advance and not cooked as ceviche normally is, using the acid of the dish. Am I wrong? Possibly. Ingredients were fresh but, well, you might understand more in my last paragraph. Birria taco - the most flavorful dish we were served. Nice and fatty, dipped in Birria juice as it should be, the meat was cooked to a great tenderness. BUT! The meat was tepid. Warmer than room temperature but not hot by any means. Warmed up by the broth/birria dip. Ordered on corn tortilla, with option of that or flour. Gringo taco - wow, was this thing stuffed! It was hard to fold up! Can't go wrong with the serving size of this taco. The flavor was a little lacking and it was, unfortunately, on the colder side of room temperature. Was it the top scoop of meat in a warmer? Maybe. But we were there at an off time, so maybe it gets better when it's busy and the food has a quick turn around. What makes us think it was the top of the meat warmer pile, also, is that the meat was dry. Tried to show that in a picture. So, cold and dry. But not totally what could have been unexpected for just about 3pm in the afternoon. Al pastor taco - nice fresh pineapple, not overstuffed, again with the corn tortilla as opposed to flour. Nothing really out of this world with this taco but I would get it again. Temperature, again, not overly warm. All tacos had an option to add salsa. We did not try it, we wanted to stick with the plain tacos. All in all a good first visit, we will definitely go back again once they work out the kinks and we might visit more at mealtime to make sure we get nice, fresh food. Atmosphere was right where it should be, service was friendly, and all employees we had interaction were very personable. Final thought? Guaco Taco Elevated Fresh Mex has to get its feet underneath it and get into a groove. I'm sure once they get going they will deserve an honest four star, fingers crossed. True to its name expect "Fresh Mex", not down home Mexican cooking. We came out of here feeling like we were at exactly as the name suggests. If you are in the mood for "Mexican food" this might not be the perfect place. Save this for a special occasion where you feel like fresh food, not so much for a Mexican food craving. Guacamole (happy hour price), two orders of Rangoons, three tacos, shrimp ceviche, and a Coke Zero - $56. Not too bad.

Delicious! You can have a serve ver take your order or you can order via a QR code. Our server was so sweet and helpful in explaining options on the menu. Casual dining with very tasty food. I ordered 1 grilled shrimp taco and one fried halibut taco. Both were so flavorful I couldn't decide which I liked better. My nephew ordered the quesabirria burrito and had a choice of beans and type of rice. He ordered pinto beans and cilantro lime rice. He loved it! The sauce was so tasty! His wife ordered the Al Pastor burrito as a bowl over rice and again it was so tasty. All 3 of us would definitely go back.

Amazing meal start to finish. We had a beautiful afternoon so chose to sit on the patio. Though it's close to Manchester, the noise was minimal. You can choose to have table service or order via QR. We were in no fish so went with full service. Our waitress was amazing, perfectly attentive and so friendly. We started with margaritas and shrimp ceviche, then split the quesabirria quesadilla and a shrimp caesar. She was kind enough to have them put the salad in two bowls, and brought us some salasa for our extra chips. Every dish and rink we had was delicious. The margs were refreshing and not overly sweet. We tried the cucumber cilantro one, the jalapeño watermelon, and the jalapeño mango. 10/10 for all. Excited to come back for more!

I ate lunch here with two other people during one of their first few days open. I ordered the Steak Salad (Carne asada, fajita veggies, tomato, avocado, street corn, tortilla strips & queso fresco. Tossed in a tomatillo serrano vinaigrette). My lunch dates ordered Tortilla Soup, a couple of tacos, and a Taco Salad. My salad was fresh tasting and healthy but my 2 complaints are lack of carne asada and the vinaigrette had little flavor. Our server brought me two other choices at my request. One was a pink vinaigrette and one was more of a hot salsa macha or oil and they were both tasty. The only other issue was the tortilla soup not being served hot. The service was friendly. I'm sure we will return at some point.

    Chicken Fajita Taco
    John K.

Sat at the bar and I ordered 3 different tacos. I ordered one quesabirria taco, on Al Pastor taco and one chicken fajita taco. They were all delicious. The birria beef was tender and juicy. I liked the diced pineapple on the Al Pastor taco, it adds depth to the taco. The grilled chicken and bell peppers on the fajita taco were tender and flavorful. When I walked in Alejandra greeted me with a big smile and I received great service. The vibe is upbeat and friendly.

Holy flavor and fiesta, Guaco Taco has officially landed and let me tell you, it's an instant local legend in the making! From the minute you walk in or drive up, you can feel the buzz, bold colors, friendly faces, and the kind of energy that says this place is going places. From first bite to last, everything about this place screams quality, passion, and FUN. The appetizers and entrees are unbelievably flavorful, loaded with fresh, bold ingredients, and the tortillas are perfection. The queso chorizo alone deserves its own fan club. The team here is warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share what they've built, which makes the whole experience feel personal and special. Whether you're grabbing lunch, dinner, or grabbing friends for a taco night out, this spot deserves all the hype. Congrats to Guaco Taco on a smashing opening. This place doesn't just raise the bar for tacos around here, it redefines it. Trust me, you're going to be back more times than you can count!

I always leave a constructive criticism, please don't take negativity, just as possible improvement. Add a spicy margarita to the menu, the best ones soak the tequila in a pepper for like 24hrs and serve that in it. It reminds you of a thin and crispy crust pizza. It's quite good with the beans, cheese, sour cream drizzle. It's big enough for 2 to share or 1 person to eat 1/2 and take some home.
