Dr. Franz is fine as a doctor, but they've made it nearly impossible to contact their office. The nurses don't pick up the refill line and take their time tending to the voicemail, the receptionist won't help unless it's s major issue, and if you'd like to complain about anything they dump you into another voicemail that never gets checked. I need a monthly prescription refilled, and I've gone without for days 3 times in the last 6 months. They've called it into the pharmacy, but they now don't take my insurance. It's at 4:30 when I NEED to talk to someone in the office and they can't be bothered to pick up. They only want to help someone when they're supposed to be working or otherwise busy. It's very frustrating to be a patient here, and likely won't be any further.

Dr. Schecter is one of those rare gems in medicine that takes a genuine interest in the patient. He may be running a bit late for your appointment but that's only because he actually spends the time to have a conversation with his patients instead of "talking to them". He is, without a doubt, the most personable, professional, caring, and understanding physician that I have come across in many years.
