It is fairly typical of an urgent care center - often long waits, but less than an ER, a good way to get a quick appointment when you're sick. The care is usually good. However, I recently took my son there because he complained that his arm was hurting a lot after a fall playing soccer. I was convinced something was wrong, but the doctor on shift took one look at his arm, said "It's not very swollen. He doesn't need an x-ray - it's just a minor sprain. Put him in a wrist brace for 5-7 days and he will be fine." My son (7 years old) wore the brace for another day, but his pain kept increasing until he was inconsolable. I took him to an orthopedic urgent care center and found it was not a sprain - it wasn't even his wrist. HIS ARM WAS BROKEN. The lazy doctor at Piedmont couldn't be bothered to x-ray my son's injured arm, thinking he knew better, and he COMPLETELY MISSED A BROKEN ARM. Parents, don't let "trained medical professionals" talk you out of scans your gut tells you you need. They don't know everything, and you should advocate for yourselves and your kids.

Berkmar was no longer there and the pharmacy couldn't fill it. I told them that I was out of a prescription and that the pharmacy had given me a few extras to get through the weekend. I've been on the same medication for 5 years so I know how my body reacts when I don't take it and it's not pretty. When I arrived to the appt they said that I was scheduled for earlier and that the dr had left already. You can understand my frustration already.(I wrote down exactly what she said for time) Front desk receptionist Brianna was not helpful and said they would send a note to the dr and I would have to wait for her to approve it(when there were other drs in the building) I called a few hours later still not hearing anything and spoke with Tiffany who needs some major people skills especially in the role that she's in. She said to me that they sent the note and I'll get notified then. Another hour goes by and they're about to close I call again and spoke to the wonderful Tiffany again the conversation turned heated when I asked her what I was suppose to do without a prescription. I asked numerous times if another dr could fill the order and she said it would still be 24 hours before it was approved. I feel this place is extremely unprofessional and the people who work there obviously do not enjoy their jobs or helping their patients. I work in and around Lilburn and meet numerous people daily and will be spreading the word on this experience. I still don't know when I'll be getting my prescription and that's pretty scary for a patient. Take my advice and find another office for your care.

According to her preventative medicine is only valid if you pay a licensed professional (IE HER) to care for you, so don't bother with those monthly breast exams ladies! You'll need Dr. Mahon to do an annual exam because "YOU'RE NOT A DOCTOR" Nevermind "recommendations" regarding your health. All recommendations equal "requirements" in the eyes of Dr. Mahon. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a pelvic exam and/or PAP exam for oral contraceptives gets a Category C. That is "does not contribute substantially to the safe and effective use of the contraceptive method." However, Dr. Mahon believes that a woman doesn't have the right to dicate her personal health and decide for herself whether or not an exam is to her benefit. She will outright refuse to perscribe birthcontrol without a PAP and Pelvic, and she will dimiss any argument you may have on the matter because "YOU'RE NOT A DOCTOR" She's as pretentious as they come. Don't be fooled by her friendly demeaner. She insisted that she have a baseline for my health through these exams before I could get my persciption, and yet she wrote the perscription immediately following the exam when I wouldn't see the results for another week! This simply proves what a coercion tactic this is, and I find it completely unethical that she would enforce what is essentially a medical rape. The worst part is that when I blatantly stated that I needed to maintain a sense of control over my health and my situation, she told me that I needed to "let go of control" and did everything in her power to make me feel inferior to her during the exam. She did not listen to me. She made me feel belittled and judged, and she spoke to me as though I were an ignorant child rather than a woman taking responsibility for my reproductive and sexual health.

Sick visits with an 8-year-old can sometimes feel stressful, but she immediately put both my son and me at ease. Her calm demeanor and gentle approach made what could have been an anxious morning feel smooth and reassuring. It's clear that Yuri genuinely cares about the children she works with. We left feeling confident, informed, and well taken care of. We're very grateful for her professionalism and kindness, and we truly appreciate the excellent care she provided.

Twenty-four hours after his appointment and the doctor still had not called in the prescription for an antibiotic. No one EVER answers the phone at the location, so I called the nurse's line and spoke to someone who was able to look in the system and see that "the doctor started the prescription but never finished it." She said she would send the doctor a message and that it should get taken care of shortly. That was at 9 a.m. At 3 p.m. the pharmacy still didn't have the prescription so I drove back to the office. The lady at the front desk went to the back, spoke to someone, and came back a few minutes later and said "they were working on it." Several minutes later, another young lady walked up and asked what pharmacy I want the prescription sent to (3rd time I had provided this information). I gave her and she said she would send it right away. I walked back to my truck and before I could leave, there was a knock on my window. IT WAS THE PARENT OF ANOTHER PATIENT SAYING THEY WERE LOOKING FOR ME! I started to walk back to the office and a lady was outside yelling at me that they could not call in the prescription because they don't have a working number on file for us. She seriously tried to gaslight me into believing that this entire situation was our fault because there was a problem with the phone number they had on file. I won't go into the details of my reply. Let's just say I told Jesus to wait in the car. Then, because this situation was not effed up enough already, they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Disfunction on a level one typically only sees in government run facilities that don't have to worry about losing customers, or their jobs. We're in the process of looking for a new pediatrician now. I strongly suggest you learn from our pain . . . unless you are into that sort of thing. Which I hear some people are. But hey, no judgment.
