Me and the guy I jumped with! (He was totally the best one!)

When I tell you, I don't ever give 5 stars I don't. But this was just incredible. 5 stars doesn't even cut it. The people, the atmosphere, and jumping out of a plane are all absolutely unmatched! The staff at this location are so amazing. They explain everything clear, make sure you are comfortable, they educate you and when I tell you, I felt SO safe, even in free fall, you know they're doing something right! Any first timer will be comfortable here and anyone with experience would just fit right in. Such amazing people!

If you're looking at this review right now just do it. No need to look further this is the place. The staff is very friendly and informative. We received all of our waivers, videos for preparation etc all in advance. Check in was a smooth and short process. The training we get prior is exactly what you'll be doing when it's time for your adventure. My sister took my for my bday and it wasn't a long wait at all for our turn. Rebecca who prepared us for the dive provided additional information, made sure everything was all set and she gave us all a good laugh. Our guides/trainers Chris and Josh are phenomenal. Such energy and did great recordings for us. Now what you're waiting for. 14,000 feet up! It's a thrill. It's exhilarating. You are touching the sky and clouds. There is not one time I felt scared or unsafe. I know I was in great hands and felt prepared. The first thing I said when I landed is that I'll be back again next year. This is a experience of a life time and if you're in the area or out of town like ai am coming from CT, this is the place to be.

A great experience! My daughter and I went for our first jump as she graduated high school

Great experience. Safe and fun. Max was. Amazing instructor. Great staff. We had to postpone because of weather, but the communication from the staff was great and we rescheduled. Can't wait to go back. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to sky dive.

One of the best things I've ever done! For my 20th birthday I decided to go skydiving for the first time and thanks to Tim and the rest of the team at WNY Skydiving I've decided to make this a annual birthday tradition!! I know a lot of people are afraid to jump out of a plane but at this location they go out their way to ensure you're comfortable and knowledgeable to what's going to be happening from the moment you step into the plane to the moment your feet retouch the ground! I'd come back to this location any day!! Not only do they ensure your safety but they know how to crack a couple jokes and have a good time as well!!

FREE FALLING FUN Supposedly, Tom Cruise has skydived approximately 106 times to date. Perhaps all those jumps were his motivation to his on screen cover of Tom Petty's Free Fallin' he did in that movie where Cuba Gooding Jr. says "show me the money" and that cute kid with the glasses says the f-word, but I'm starting to get off script. Getting back on topic and to my point, perhaps I could launch my very own acting career in which I base my motivation on that awesome time I first jumped out of a plane over Albion, NY courtesy of WNY Skydiving! Our jump instructor Tim taught us what to do while in free fall mode for our training. We only had one responsibility as a first time jumper: arch. You arch when you extend your arms out, put your feet together and fold them up towards your butt with your belly towards the ground. Then, you just continue to fall for 30 seconds... and it was pretty exhilarating. Tim has tons of experience, with what I believe he said over 7,000 jumps (suck on that, Cruise). After the free fall portion of the jump (your instructor pulls the cord for the chute, so you need not worry about that), it's almost as cool while floating down to the ground. You can seen for miles, and while teaching me to steer, Tim let me spin us left and right, which made me feel like I was on a roller coaster. Jumps costs about $220 per person, with the option of photos/video for an additional $130 (or $100 for one or the other, but why not both?). I strongly recommend the package as it's pretty cool to document this. WNY Skydiving does a good job to not only capture your jump but also caption your whole experience: video of you getting on plane, propellers moving while you take off, asking you questions about how you feel, etc. I would most definitely jump out of a plane here again.

I created a yelp account just to give these guys a great review. I don't know what those people are complaining about. We got in there, watched the video, filled out the paperwork and did the training right away. Yes. We waited. But that was to be expected. We had a pizza delivered to the airport, settled in and watched the other people jump. We got to hear some great stories from a few of the instructors while we waited. I'm terrified of heights, and planes (skydiving seems like a natural choice for me, I know). I let my instructor, Rebecca, know and she did a great job of making me more relaxed about the whole thing. Don't expect them to hold your hand while you're waiting. They shouldn't have to, they're making sure everything is running safely. Still scared of heights but I'll be back.

Landing after my first tandem jump with Josh.

I did my first tandem jump in July. Just checking things off my bucket list. I loved it so much, I scheduled another for August. It was also amazing. The operation is small but seems to operate well. I went with my husband both times and we didn't wait more then a couple hours for each tandem jump. Bob is awesome, Josh is a blast, and Tim was very patient, good spirited and calm. I'm trying to figure out when I can go back next.

The check-in process was super simple and all of the staff was top notch. My girlfriend had a Tandem with "Jumping Jay" and he couldn't have been nicer. She also had Keenan as her videographer and some of the shots he got were insane. The energy and vibes these guys were putting out just show how passionate they are about this crazy hobby! The facilities were nice and the area to check-in had everything needed to stay hydrated on a hot day! Jumping in July/August can get HOT! The best way to cool off is the great all natural air conditioning to be had at 13,500 feet! The plane ride up was just as fun as the ride down due to that view. Apparently on a really clear day, the Toronto skyline is visible too! The runway and landing areas were nice and clearly marked and very well manicured. I wish I lived closer so I could Skydive the Falls more often, I can't get enough of that view!!! The plane tour of the Falls alone is worth the price, skydiving at the end is just that extra cherry on top. After being in a car for a 7 hour drive from LI to Niagara Falls, this was definitely the best detour/pit stop I've ever taken. May Skydive the Falls alway have Blue Skies!!!

I really don't want to trivialize something as dangerous as jumping out of a plane with a sheet of…read morenylon the size of your living room being your only means of living... but when I'm reviewing places like this, I have to be cognizant that all drop zones follow USPA guidelines, use almost the same regulated equipment, and utilize similar planes and drop heights. So what makes them different? What makes them stand out from the rest? Usually for a first time jumper, it comes down to 3 major things: Price, Comfort, and Surviving. Most people rave about a drop zone solely on the latter, and given this is my 3rd rodeo and I haven't died yet, I hope to give my analysis with confidence and clarity: Environment: The Perry Warsaw airport was very spacious well-kept piece of land. We were situated at the hangar furthest west, and it was very well kept and decently organized. The majority of the place was carpeted, and the suits, equipment, and parachute staging area was impressive. From 10,500 down the view was absolutely gorgeous and the placement of the drop zone was easy to identify. Customer Service/Price: For a tandem, the jump was reasonably priced and you get a price break for paying cash. Also, they only require a $50 deposit for booking your jump. At other zones they would want the full price up front. That's quite a bit of change you're throwing away if the weather or airplane conditions don't allow a jump that day. Very cool of them to do that. When we first came I had apprehensions because no one really saw us when we came in; people were busy with their tasks and didn't pay us any mind. The first people to approach us were other customers and I still had no idea who I was to talk to to get our tandems going. After a few minutes of chewing the fat, a staff member let us to meet Sue and Jim who handled our training and paperwork. Comfort: Our instructor was a stand up and personable guy. He was very focused on safety and making sure we were comfortable with the jump and our training. He had no qualms with going over things multiple times and was very advocate of relaxation and awareness. Among all the instructors I've had in the past, I have to admit he was the most thorough. In our plane ride up, we reviewed the tasks needed for my T-2 jump and kept the training going up until that plane door popped open. Other Notes: -We only had 1 instructor that day, so it bottle-necked our jumps and had us stay a lot longer than planned. Jim was really a trooper and did his best to get me and my friends up in the air as soon and safe as possible. -Some of the training I had on site sometimes conflicted, overlapped, or was kind of sporadic. I do acknowledge and understand that there's no such thing as too much training and safety is priority. I respect that a lot, my life is pretty much on the line. It probably would have been preferred to stick with 1 person for training the entire day than to bounce back and forth for consistency. -Part of my training involved writing a detailed report of my experiences and actions from falling out of the plane up until the landing to test my memory and awareness during such a adrenaline induced event. Pretty cool thing to have me do, and also emphasizes their commitment to safety and growth of their jumpers. -I had absolutely the smoothest landing I've ever had on a jump. Kudos! In all: If you have the mettle for something like Skydiving, I highly recommend this spot! It's an experience like none other!
