    SHOPPERS PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS REVIEW BEORE MAKING YOUR DECISION. Again our system is not working…read moreand again we have to wait for another week. Since we noticed that our battery in our panel is low and trouble shooting it on the phone with a tech support for over a half hour and 4 emails within a 10 minute time frame saying that the control panel battery is running on 3% on my 9 yr. wedding anniversary she tells me she is sorry but we have to wait for the tech to come out because she has tried everything. The next day I call to try to get our appointment moved up and one tech guy tells me have you tried this and that and when I tell him we tried everything he tells me the tech support that I spoke with last night has no notes in the system. Since last night when I had 4 emails I now wake up to 25 emails saying the same thing and at 8:15 this morning Vivint calling us to tell us something we already know. So I call to ask to have our service discontinued and was told I had to speak to their Customer Loyalty Dept. I speak with their Customer Loyalty Dept. for him to tell me that I cant get out of our contract and he has given us way to much money in credits that he cant do anything for us now even thou now our control panel is not showing us that the door is locked and when windows or doors are open. He tells me that the tech will change out the control panel when he comes in a week. I told him they have already changed out the panel 2 other times. Guess what. Again there are no notes in the system showing that and when the techs come to your house they don't give you any paperwork to show what they did. So you look like the liar when you tell them that the panel has been changed 2 other times. So here we are how many more emails will we get saying that the battery is low or when it gets to 0 and completely stops our house AGAIN goes unmonitored. They answer the phone where we protect your home and family. How do they do this? I tell the Customer Care Loyalty Rep I want out of our contract due to them not giving us the services we are paying for. He tells me because they are willing to replace the panel because there is no record of it being replaced even thou again I tell him to contact these employees who have replaced it he tells me I cant get out of the contract but its fine for them not to protect our house and may family. Keep in mind I have 3 grandkids that live with us and that was the whole reason we went this security system. One more thing. The numbers they have listed on the internet for their Corporate number is all lies they all go to their Customer Service. You cant get a hold of their Corporate Office.

I sold my home and move to another state and was told by three…read moredifferent ADT employees that as long as the new homeowner activated services within a 30 day period my cancellation fee of $500 would be waived. I confirmed the new homeowner activated services well within the 30 day period and was again told the fee was waived and I did not owe. ADT ended up still charging me the fee and when I called to correct the situation, I was given the runaround and eventually spoke with the most incompetent employee who said I was lying and I was never told the fee would be waived. I informed him I knew the calls were recorded and ADT could go back and review those calls and confirm the information I was provided. The guy actually laughed on the phone and would not transfer me to a supervisor. I called back and spoke with a supervisor who told me I was correct and I should never have been charged the fee and transferred me to billing to initiate the refund. The individual in billing, "Filipe" told me they initiated the cancellation of the charge but I would have to call in 1 week to request the refund. So ADT had no problem taking my money but because they messed up, I have to wait another two weeks before I can get my money back? After spending over 30 minutes on the phone with them this morning to correct THEIR error? How does that make sense. I will never use ADT services again. Do not sign a contract with this company.

    We contacted Affordable Electric as we have recently moved into our new home and needed electric…read morework to install light fixtures, a chandelier, backyard Ring security system and a new exhaust fan in our shower. The fan over our shower was bad and we never saw any results so we got a top of the line Veent fan and the installation was pretty intense with a need to cut some additional space in the roof. When Kate came in she gave us a fair estimate and she came the day we had set up letting us know she was on her way and couldnt have been more pleasant to work with. There was no doubt she cared about her work and our satisfaction- always checking with us after was done with a "hows it look"? It was nice having someone so upbeat and positive and she did a professional wonderful job. It was a few hours for her with shower fan installation the bulk of her time and required some extra work but it looks great and works perfectly. She has alot of pride in her work and it shows as she herself was very satisfied with the end result. The outside security light and motion detector also required some extra time but she was able to get it done just in time before a wind/rain storm came with the help of a couple assistants who arrived with the large required ladder. Yes we also feel the cost for her services was more than fair and she even gave us a break/discount for adding another outside light onto her original estimate. We highly recommend Affordable Electric also because they were the ones who replied to our initial call when a couple others didnt even have the courtesy to return calls. We are glad they did!
