I found…read morefleas, he never has fleas, so I bathed him, killing 5 fleas, a few days later we bathed him again, 3 fleas, another few days, 5 fleas. What is going on? Asked my new know it all, Claude and it said to get 3 items, all were found at Green Acres Nursery & Supply. The lawn and garden is going to be treated with Nature's Creation Cedar Repel, Flea Destroyer and Medine Orange Oil Concentrate. The dog gets another bath and vinegar rinse. It was so overpowering that breathing became a challenge, and it was hard to imagine anyone choosing to linger in the retail space. I am a huge advocate for businesses that embrace having animals on site, as it often adds a charming touch to the shopping experience. The cat at Green Acre is indeed beautiful, but unfortunately, its presence has wreaked havoc on the retail space. The unmistakable odor suggests it has chosen the outdoor furniture as its territory, which detracts significantly from the environment--something that management ought to address promptly. Despite this unnerving aspect, I did spot an exquisite Alocasia Zebrina. This find was the shining moment in an otherwise unpleasant visit. Sadly, I didn't venture into their outdoor section, as the state of the houseplant area was disheartening enough. Many of the plants appeared neglected, with signs of overwatering and distress. It was disappointing to see such potential overshadowed by poor maintenance. If this Green Acre location wishes to improve, they could learn a lot from the Green Acres location in Melissa, whose plant manager truly excels. Her expertise and care are evident, and similar attention is needed in Irving to revive their plant offerings and overall customer experience. Overall, I wish I could grant a higher score, but the current conditions make it difficult to recommend Green Acre Nursery until these issues are addressed.

This was our first time tackling landscaping and were a little nervous, but Christian immediately put us at ease. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and recommended native plants that were both manageable to care for and look great. (Teddy Bear Magnolias are my new favorite tree!) Christian brings a great personality and a wealth of knowledge to his clients. We could ask any types of questions and he would meet us right where we are at to help educate and guide us. We were invited to go to the nursery and meet Christian to go over which plants/trees they had already selected. We were given the option to switch out items with others if we wanted, which is nice to be included in the process. The day of our installation was really smooth. The workers at Moon Valley that came in were super efficient and did a great job. We are very thankful that was an easy process as well. Even after everything was planted, Christian has continued to be an incredible resource. He's been available to answer questions and provide guidance, which gives us peace of mind knowing we have a knowledgeable specialist to help us as we learn. That level of customer service from Christian is what anyone taking on a landscaping project would want. So disappointed. I purchased 2 trees here about 3 years ago. Wonderful experience and service. A…read moremonth ago (March 13th) I purchased some maintenance: soil injections for 7 trees and tree trimming for 2 trees. It took 2 calls and 2 emails before I was finally contacted for the injections (March 25). Now, I've called the store, my salesperson and emailed the booking dept checking status on tree trimming. Finally got an email April 13th that says "I do see you purchased it, but it did not populate on my end. I will reach out about the date as soon as I receive that paperwork." It's April 16th and no response or update. I have used another tree trimmer in the past who comes out same day! It's ridiculous at this point. If you're busy at least tell me. Will not use them for maintenance in the future.

Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, I was accused of knowingly taking a plant that wasn't mine... which makes no sense. How would any customer possibly know that? Mistakes happen, I understand that. But how a business handles those mistakes is what really matters. Being blamed for something completely out of my control, after being a loyal customer, was disappointing and frustrating.
